Deuteronomy 7:2
परमप्रभु तिमीहरूका परमेश्वरले यी जातिहरूलाई तिमीहरूको अधीनमा राख्नु हुनेछ अनि तिमीहरूले उनीहरूलाई जित्नेछौ। तिमीहरूले उनीहरूलाई सम्पूर्ण नष्ट पार्ने छौ। तिनीहरूसित कुनै सम्झौता नगर, तिनीहरूप्रति दया नदेखाऊ।

| thy God | יְהוָ֧ה | yĕhwâ | yeh-VA |
| deliver shall | אֱלֹהֶ֛יךָ | ʾĕlōhêkā | ay-loh-HAY-ha |
| them before | לְפָנֶ֖יךָ | lĕpānêkā | leh-fa-NAY-ha |
| thee; thou shalt smite | וְהִכִּיתָ֑ם | wĕhikkîtām | veh-hee-kee-TAHM |
| utterly and them, | הַֽחֲרֵ֤ם | haḥărēm | ha-huh-RAME |
| destroy | תַּֽחֲרִים֙ | taḥărîm | ta-huh-REEM |
| them; thou shalt make | אֹתָ֔ם | ʾōtām | oh-TAHM |
| no | לֹֽא | lōʾ | loh |
| covenant | תִכְרֹ֥ת | tikrōt | teek-ROTE |
| with them, nor | לָהֶ֛ם | lāhem | la-HEM |
| shew mercy | בְּרִ֖ית | bĕrît | beh-REET |
| unto them: | וְלֹ֥א | wĕlōʾ | veh-LOH |
| תְחָנֵּֽם׃ | tĕḥonnēm | teh-hoh-NAME |
