“फेरि केही वर्षपछि एउटा संन्धि हुनेछ अनि दक्षिणका राजाकी छोरीसित उत्तरका राजाको विवाह हुन्छ। यो शान्तिका निम्ति गरिनेछ, तर तिनका सन्तान बलिया हुने छैनन्। तिनको नानी तिनलाई समर्थन गर्ने एकजनालाई सुम्पिनेछन्।

of years	שָׁנִים֙	šāne	sha-NEH
they shall join themselves together;	יִתְחַבָּ֔רוּ	ḥābar	ha-VAHR
daughter	וּבַ֣ת	bat	baht
for the king's	מֶֽלֶךְ	melek	meh-LEK
of the south	הַנֶּ֗גֶב	negeb	neh-ɡEV
shall come	תָּבוֹא֙	bôʾ	boh
to	אֶל	ʾēl	ale
the king	מֶ֣לֶךְ	melek	meh-LEK
of the north	הַצָּפ֔וֹן	ṣāpôn	tsa-FONE
to make	לַעֲשׂ֖וֹת	ʿāśâ	ah-SA
an agreement:	מֵישָׁרִ֑ים	mêšār	may-SHAHR
but she shall not	וְלֹֽא	lōʾ	loh
retain	תַעְצֹ֞ר	ʿāṣār	ah-TSAHR
the power	כּ֣וֹחַ	kōaḥ	KOH-ak
of the arm;	הַזְּר֗וֹעַ	zĕrôaʿ	zeh-ROH-ah
neither	וְלֹ֤א	lōʾ	loh
shall he stand,	יַעֲמֹד֙	ʿāmad	ah-MAHD
nor his arm:	וּזְרֹע֔וֹ	zĕrôaʿ	zeh-ROH-ah
shall be given up,	וְתִנָּתֵ֨ן	nātan	na-TAHN
but she	הִ֤יא	hûʾ	hoo
and they that brought	וּמְבִיאֶ֙יהָ֙	bôʾ	boh
her, and he that begat	וְהַיֹּ֣לְדָ֔הּ	yālad	ya-LAHD
her, and he that strengthened	וּמַחֲזִקָ֖הּ	ḥāzaq	ha-ZAHK
her in times.	בָּעִתִּֽים׃	ʿēt	ate
