Daniel 1 - YLT (Nepali)

1 In the third year of the reign of Jehoiakim king of Judah, come hath Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon to Jerusalem, and layeth siege against it;तेस्रो वर्षमा यहूदाका राजा यहोयाकीमको शासनकालमा बाबेलका राजा नबूकदनेस्सरले यरूशलेममा आफ्ना सेनाद्वारा चारै तिर घेरेर त्यस माथि आक्रमण गरे।

2 and the Lord giveth into his hand Jehoiakim king of Judah, and some of the vessels of the house of God, and he bringeth them in `to' the land of Shinar, `to' the house of his god, and the vessels he hath brought in `to' the treasure-house of his god.परमप्रभुले उसलाई यहूदाको राजा यहोयाकीमलाई पराजित गर्ने शक्ति दिनुभयो अनि परमेश्वरको मन्दिरबाट सबै भाँडा-कुँडाहरू लाने अनुमति दिनुभयो। नबूकदनेस्सरले ती चीजहरू शिनारको भूमि बाबेलमा ल्याए अनि उनका देवताहरूका मन्दिरमा राखे।

3 And the king saith, to Ashpenaz master of his eunuchs, to bring in out of the sons of Israel, (even of the royal seed, and of the chiefs,)त्यसपछि राजा नबूकदनेस्सरले अशपनजलाई आदेश दिए। अशपनज राजाका सेवकहरूको अगुवा थियो। राजाले अशपनजलाई राजकीय परिवारका केही यहूदीहरू अनि उच्च श्रेणीका इस्राएलीहरूलाई ल्याउनु भने।

4 lads in whom there is no blemish, and of good appearance, and skilful in all wisdom, and possessing knowledge, and teaching thought, and who have ability to stand in the palace of the king, and to teach them the literature and language of the Chaldeans.ती मानिसहरू हट्टा-कट्टा, सुन्दर, शरीरमा कुनै चोट नभएका, सारा बुद्धिमा निपुण, साहित्य र विज्ञानको ज्ञानले परिपूर्ण, समझदार राजदरवारको सेवा गर्न सक्ने योग्य कल्दीहरूका भाषा र साहित्य सिकाउन भनी नपुंसकहरूका प्रधान अशपनजलाई हुकूम गरे।

5 And the king doth appoint for them a rate, day by day, of the king's portion of food, and of the wine of his drinking, so as to nourish them three years, that at the end thereof they may stand before the king.राजा नबूदकनेसरले आफ्नो भोजन र मदको एक भाग तिनीहरूलाई दिए। राजाले तिनीहरूलाई तीन वर्षसम्म तालिम दिन र त्यसपछि उनको सामु प्रस्तुत गर्ने निर्देशन दिए।

6 And there are among them out of the sons of Judah, Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah,यहूदाका ती नानीहरूमा दानियल, हनन्याह, मीशाएल अनि अजर्याह सामेल थिए।

7 and the chief of the eunuchs setteth names on them, and he setteth on Daniel, Belteshazzar; and on Hananiah, Shadrach; and on Mishael, Meshach; and on Azariah, Abed-Nego.अशपनजले (नपुंसक) नाउँ राखिदिए। तिनीहरूले दानियलको नाउँ बेलतसजर राखिदिए। तिनीहरूले हनन्याहको नाउँ शद्रक राखिदिए। अनि मीशाएललाई मेशेक अनि अजर्याहलाई अबेद्नगो नाउँ राखिदिए।

8 And Daniel purposeth in his heart that he will not pollute himself with the king's portion of food, and with the wine of his drinking, and he seeketh of the chief of the eunuchs that he may not pollute himself.तर राजाले उनीहरूलाई दिनु भनी पठाएको भोजन र दाखरस खाएर आफूलाई अशुद्ध नपार्ने दानियलले निश्चय गरे। यसैले आफूलाई अशुद्ध हुन नदिनुहोस् भनी नपुंसकहरूका प्रधानलाई बिन्ति गरे।

9 And God giveth Daniel for kindness and for mercies before the chief of the eunuchs;परमेश्वरले नपुंसकहरूका प्रमुखको मनमा दानियल प्रति करूणा र दया भरिदिनु भयो।

10 and the chief of the eunuchs saith to Daniel, `I am fearing my lord the king, who hath appointed your food and your drink, for why doth he see your faces sadder than `those of' the lads which `are' of your circle? then ye have made my head indebted to the king,'नपुंसकहरूका प्रमुखले दानियललाई भने, “मलाई डर लाग्छ, किनभने मेरा परमप्रभु राजाले मलाई तिमीले यो भोजन खाएको अनि यो दाखरस पिएको हेर्नु भनी आदेश दिनु भएको छ। यदि तिमीले यो भोजन खाएनौ भने तिमी बिमार अनि दुर्बल हुनेछौ। राजाले यो देख्नु हुनेछ र मसित रिसाउनु हुनेछ। हुन सक्छ, मेरो टाउको काटिइनेछ अनि यो दोष तिम्रो हुनेछ।”

11 And Daniel saith unto the Meltzar, whom the chief of the eunuchs hath appointed over Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah,यसपछि दानियलले आफूलाई हेरचाह गर्ने कारिन्दालाई भने। अशपनजको त्यो कारिन्दालाई दानियल, हनन्याह, मीशाएल अनि अजर्याहमाथि ध्यान देऊ।

12 `Try, I pray thee, thy servants, ten days; and they give to us of the vegetables, and we eat, and water, and we drink;दानियलले त्यो कारिन्दासँग भने, “दया गरेर दश दिन सम्म हाम्रो परीक्षा लेऊ, हामीलाई खान साग-सब्जी अनि पिउने पानी बाहेक केही नदेऊ।

13 and our appearance is seen before thee, and the appearance of the lads who are eating the king's portion of food, and as thou seest -- deal with thy servants.'त्यसपछि तिमीले हाम्रो तुलना अरू जवान मानिसहरूसँग गर, जसले राजाको खाना खान्छन्। त्यस पछि तिमीले देख्छौ कि को धेरै स्वस्थ छ, अनि आफै निर्णय गर, हामीसँग कस्तो व्यवहार गर्नु पर्छ, हामी तिम्रो सेवक हौं।”

14 And he hearkeneth to them, to this word, and trieth them ten days:उनी राजी भए अनि दश दिन सम्म जाँच गरे।

15 and at the end of ten days their appearance hath appeared better and fatter in flesh then any of the lads who are eating the king's portion of food.दश दिनको अन्तमा तिनीहरू राम्रा र हट्टा-कट्टा देखिन थाले उनीहरू भन्दा, जसले राजाको खाना खान्थे।

16 And the Meltzar is taking away their portion of food, and the wine of their drink, and is giving to them vegetables.त्यसपछि त्यो रखवालाले उनीहरूलाई राजाको खाना र दाखरस दिन बन्द गरे। अनि तिनीहरूलाई साग-सब्जी नै दिनलागे।

17 As to these four lads, God hath given to them knowledge and understanding in every `kind of' literature, and wisdom; and Daniel hath given instruction about every `kind of' vision and dreams.परमेश्वरले ती चारजनालाई, ज्ञान, बुद्धि प्रदान गर्नुभयो, अनि हेरक प्रकारको लिपि, विज्ञानहरू जान्ने योग्यता दिनुभयो। दानियलले हरेक प्रकारको दिब्य दर्शन अनि सपनाहरू बुझ्न थाले।

18 And at the end of the days that the king had said to bring them in, bring them in doth the chief of the eunuchs before Nebuchadnezzar.त्यस अवधिको अन्तमा राजाको आदेश अनुसार नपुंसकहरूका अगुवाले तिनीहरूलाई राजा नबूकदनेस्सर अघि उपस्थित गराए।

19 And the king speaketh with them, and there hath none been found among them all like Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah, and they stand before the king;राजाले सबै मानिसहरूको अन्तवार्ता लिए तर उनले ती मध्ये कसैलाई पनि दानियल, हनन्याह, मीशाएल अनि अजर्याह जस्तो सर्वोत्तम पाएनन्। यसकारण उनले तिनीहरूलाई आफ्नो कार्यमा लिए।

20 and `in' any matter of wisdom `and' understanding that the king hath sought of them, he findeth them ten hands above all the scribes, the enchanters, who `are' in all his kingdom.राजाले यी चारजनासित सबै महत्वपूर्ण विषयमा सरसल्लाह लिए अनि तिनीहरूले आफ्नो ज्ञान र सुझबुझको प्रमाण दिए। राजाले देखे कि यी चारजना उनको राज्यका सबै ज्ञानी अनि जादुगरहरू भन्दा दश गुणा राम्रा छन्।

21 And Daniel is unto the first year of Cyrus the king.दानियलले कोरेसको शासन कालको पहिलो वर्ष सम्म राजाको सेवा गरिबसे।
