Acts 19 - YLT (Nepali)

1 And it came to pass, in Apollos' being in Corinth, Paul having gone through the upper parts, came to Ephesus, and having found certain disciples,अपोल्लस कोरिन्थ शहरमा भएको बेला, पावल एफिससको बाटो भएर धेरै ठाउँहरू भ्रमण गरिरहेका थिए। एफिससमा पावलले कतिपय चेलाहरूर भेटे।

2 he said unto them, `The Holy Spirit did ye receive -- having believed?' and they said unto him, `But we did not even hear whether there is any Holy Spirit;'पावलले उनीहरूलाई सोधे, “के तिमीहरूले विश्वास गर्दा पवित्र आत्मा पायौ?”तिनीहरूले भने, “हामीले कहिल्यै पनि पवित्र-आत्मा छ भन्ने सुनेका छैनौ।”

3 and he said unto them, `To what, then, were ye baptized?' and they said, `To John's baptism.'तब पावलले सोधे, “कस्तो प्रकारको बप्तिस्मा तिनीहरूले लियौ?” तिनीहरूले भने, “यूहन्नाले बताएको अनुसार बप्तिस्मा हामी लिएका छौं।”

4 And Paul said, `John, indeed, did baptize with a baptism of reformation, saying to the people that in him who is coming after him they should believe -- that is, in the Christ -- Jesus;'पावलले भने, “यूहन्नाले मानिसहरूलाई आफ्नो जीवन परिवर्तन गर्न चाहनेलाई बप्तिस्मा दिन्थे। यूहन्नाले भन्थे एकैजनालाई मात्र विश्वास गर जो उ पछि आइरहेछन्। तिनी येशू हुन्।”

5 and they, having heard, were baptized -- to the name of the Lord Jesus,जब तिनीहरूले यो सुने, तिनीहरूले प्रभु येशूको नाउँमा बप्तिस्मा लिए।

6 and Paul having laid on them `his' hands, the Holy Spirit came upon them, they were speaking also with tongues, and prophesying,त्यसपछि पावलले तिनीहरूमाथि हातहरू राखिदिए अनि पवित्र आत्मा तिनीहरूमा आउनुभयो। तब तिनीहरूले विभिन्न भाषाहरू बोल्न थाले र अगमवाणीहरू गर्न थाले।

7 and all the men were, as it were, twelve.तिनीहरूको हुलमा लगभग बाह्रजना थिए।

8 And having gone into the synagogue, he was speaking boldly for three months, reasoning and persuading the things concerning the reign of God,पावल सभाघरमा गए अनि सहाससंग बोले। तीन महीनासम्म पावलले त्यसै नै गरे। उनले यहूदीहरूसंग वहश गर्थे अनि तिनीहरूलाई परमेश्वरको राज्यको विषयमा प्रेरित गर्थे।

9 and when certain were hardened and were disbelieving, speaking evil of the way before the multitude, having departed from them, he did separate the disciples, every day reasoning in the school of a certain Tyrannus.तर कतिपय यहूदीहरू कठोर थिए । तिनीहरूले विश्वास गरेनन्। तिनीहरूले परमेश्वरको बाटोको विषयमा धेरै निन्दनीय कुराहरू मानिसहरू समक्ष गरे। यसर्थ पावलले तिनीहरूलाई छाडे अनि चेलाहरूलाई साथमा लिएर हिंडे अनि हरेक दिन टिरान्नसको पाठशालामा गएर वहस गर्ने गर्थे।

10 And this happened for two years so that all those dwelling in Asia did hear the word of the Lord Jesus, both Jews and Greeks,पावलले यस्तो काम दुइ र्वष सम्म गरे। यस्तो कार्यको कारणले गर्दा, प्रतयेक यहूदी र ग्रीकले एशिया देशमा प्रभुको वचन सुने।

11 mighty works also -- not common -- was God working through the hands of Paul,परमेश्वरले केही असाधरण चमत्कारहरू गर्नेलाई पावललाई प्रयोग गर्नु भयो।

12 so that even unto the ailing were brought from his body handkerchiefs or aprons, and the sicknesses departed from them; the evil spirits also went forth from them.पावलले चलाएका रूमालहरू र लुगाहरू लगरे तिनीहरूले विमारीहरूमाथि राखे। जब तिनीहरूले यसो गरे तिनीहरू निको हुन्थे अनि दुष्ट आत्माहरू तिनीहरूबाट बाहिर निस्कन्थे।

13 And certain of the wandering exorcist Jews, took upon `them' to name over those having the evil spirits the name of the Lord Jesus, saying, `We adjure you by Jesus, whom Paul doth preach;'कतिपय यहूदीहरू ठाउँ ठाउँ डुल्दै दुष्ट आत्माहरू मानिसहरूबाट दुष्ट आत्माहरू भागउने चेष्टा गर्थे। तिनीहरू भन्थे,

14 and there were certain -- seven sons of Sceva, a Jew, a chief priest -- who are doing this thing;“म तँलाई त्यो येशूको नाउँमा जसको नाउँ पावलले प्रचार गर्छ, आदेश गर्छु, बाहिर आइज।”

15 and the evil spirit, answering, said, `Jesus I know, and Paul I am acquainted with; and ye -- who are ye?'तर एक पल्ट एउटा दुष्ट आत्माले ती यहूदीहरूलाई भने, “म येशूलाई चिन्दछु, अनि पावललाई चिन्दछु, तर तिमीहरू चाँहि को हौ?”

16 And the man, in whom was the evil spirit, leaping upon them, and having overcome them, prevailed against them, so that naked and wounded they did flee out of that house,तब त्यस मानिस जसमा दुष्ट आत्मा चढेको थियो त्यो उफ्रिएर ती यहूदीलाई झम्टियो। उ सबै भन्दा वलियो थियो। उसले तिनीहरूलाई कुट्यो र तिनीहरूको लुगाहरु च्यातिदियो। ती यहूदीहरू त्यस घरबाट नाङ्गै र घाइते अवस्थामा भागे।

17 and this became known to all, both Jews and Greeks, who are dwelling at Ephesus, and fear fell upon them all, and the name of the Lord Jesus was being magnified,एफिससका सम्पूर्ण मानिसहरू, यहूदीहरू र ग्रीकहरूले यी कुराहरू थाहा पाए अनि निक्कै डराए अनि तिनीहरू सबैले प्रभु येशूको नाउँमा धेरै भन्दा धेरै सम्मान गर्न थाले।

18 many also of those who did believe were coming, confessing and declaring their acts,धेरै मानिसहरू पनि जो विश्वासी भएका थिए, अघि आए अनि तिनीहरूको दुष्ट कार्यहरू सबैको सामु स्वीकारे।

19 and many of those who had practised the curious arts, having brought the books together, were burning `them' before all; and they reckoned together the prices of them, and found `it' five myriads of silverlings;तिनीहरूमध्ये कति जनाले टुनामुना प्रायोग गरेका थिए। तिनीहरूले आफ्नो टुनामुनाका पुस्तकहरू ल्याए अनि सबैको अघि ती पुस्तकहरू जलाए। ती पुस्तकहरूको मूल्य झण्डै पचास हजार चाँदीका सिक्काहरू जति अनुमान गरियो।

20 so powerfully was the word of God increasing and prevailing.यस्तो प्रकारले, प्रभुको वचन चारैतिर फैलिन थाल्यो अनि मानिसहरूमा जोडले प्रभाव पार्दै गयो।

21 And when these things were fulfilled, Paul purposed in the Spirit, having gone through Macedonia and Achaia, to go on to Jerusalem, saying -- `After my being there, it behoveth me also to see Rome;'तब कुराहरू भइसके पछि, पावलले म्यासिडोनिया र अखैया अनि यरूशलेम जाने योजना बनाए। पावलले सोचे, “यरूशलेम भ्रमण गरिसके पछि म रोम भ्रमण गर्छु।”

22 and having sent to Macedonia two of those ministering to him -- Timotheus and Erastus -- he himself stayed a time in Asia.तिमोथि र इरास्तस दुइजना पावलका सहकर्मीहरू थिए। पावलले तिनीहरूलाई म्यासिडोनिया अगाडी नै पठाए। पावल केही समयको लागि एशियामै बसे।

23 And there came, at that time, not a little stir about the way,तर त्यस समयमा एफिससमा ठूलो अशान्ति भएको थियो। यो आशान्ति परमेश्वरको मार्गको विषय लिएर भएको थियो।

24 for a certain one, Demetrius by name, a worker in silver, making silver sanctuaries of Artemis, was bringing to the artificers gain not a little,त्यहाँ डेमेत्रियस नाउँ भएको एकजना मानिस थिए। उनले चाँदीको काम गर्थे। उनले देवी आर्तेमिस मन्दिरको चाँदीको सानो नमुनाहरू बनाए। यसरी यस्तो शिल्पी कर्मीहरूलाई निकै काम दिएर पैसा दिए

25 whom, having brought in a crowd together, and those who did work about such things, he said, `Men, ye know that by this work we have our wealth;डेमेत्रियसले यी सबै सुनारहरूलाई र यस्ता व्यवसायसित सर्म्पकित मानिसहरूलाई भेला गरे अनि तिनीहरूलाई भने, “तिमीहरू राम्ररी जान्दछौ, यस कामबाट हामीले निकै पैसा कमाउँछौ।”

26 and ye see and hear, that not only at Ephesus, but almost in all Asia, this Paul, having persuaded, did turn away a great multitude, saying, that they are not gods who are made by hands;तर हेर, यो पावल भन्ने मानिसले के गरिरहेछ!सुन उसले के भनिरहेछ! पावलले धेरै जनालाई प्रभावित र परिवर्तन गरिसक्यो। उसले यहाँ एफिससमा र एशियाको सारा देशहरूमा यस्तो कार्यहरू गरिसकेकोछ। पावलले भन्छ कि मानिसहरूले बनाएको देवताहरू साँचो देवताहरू होइनन्।

27 and not only is this department in danger for us of coming into disregard, but also, that of the great goddess Artemis the temple is to be reckoned for nothing, and also her greatness is about to be brought down, whom all Asia and the world doth worship.'पावलले भनेका त्यस्ता कुराहरूले मानिसहरू हाम्रो पेशा विरुद्ध हुने खतरा हुन्छ। तर त्यहाँ अर्को खतरा पनि छः मानिसहरूले सोच्न सक्लान कि महान देवी आर्तेमिसको मन्दिर कुनै महत्वपूर्ण कुरो होइन! त्यस अवस्थामा उनको महानता नष्ट हुनेछ। आर्तेमिस देवी सारा एशिया र संसारको प्रत्येक ठाउँमा नै पूजिन्छन्।”

28 And they having heard, and having become full of wrath, were crying out, saying, `Great `is' the Artemis of the Ephesians!'यस्तो कुरा सुनेपछि तिनीहरू क्रोधित भए। तिनीहरू चिच्चाउन थाले, “आर्तिमिस, एफिससका महान देवी हुन्।”

29 and the whole city was filled with confusion, they rushed also with one accord into the theatre, having caught Gaius and Aristarchus, Macedonians, Paul's fellow-travellers.शहरका सबै मानिसहरु अस्तब्यस्त भएय। तिनीहरुले गायस र अरिस्तार्ख सलाई समाते। (यी दुईमानिसहरु म्यसोडोनियावासी थिए र पावलसंग यात्रा गरिरहेका थिए।)

30 And on Paul's purposing to enter in unto the populace, the disciples were not suffering him,सबै मानिसहरु रंङ्ग-भवनतिर दगुरे। पावल पनि त्यस भित्र जान चाहन्थे, अनि मानिसहरुको भिडलाई सम्बोधन गर्न चाहन्थे तर येशूका चेलाहरुले तिनीहरुलाई जान दिएनन्।

31 and certain also of the chief men of Asia, being his friends, having sent unto him, were entreating him not to venture himself into the theatre.त्यस देशका कतिपय नेताहरु पावलका मित्रहरु थिए।तिनीहरुले पावलाई‘तमासा-घरभित्र नजानु’ भन्ने खबर पठाए।

32 Some indeed, therefore, were calling out one thing, and some another, for the assembly was confused, and the greater part did not know for what they were come together;कतिपय मानिसहरु एउटा कुरामा चिच्याईरहेका थिए कतिपय अर्कै कुरामा चिच्याई रहेका थिए। त्यो सभा अन्योलपूर्ण थियो। धेरै मानिसहरु त्यहाँ आफु किन आएका थिए बुझेकै थिएनन्।

33 and out of the multitude they put forward Alexander -- the Jews thrusting him forward -- and Alexander having beckoned with the hand, wished to make defence to the populace,यहूदीहरुले अलेकज्याण्डर नाउँ भएको एक जना मानिसलाई जनताको अगाडी उभ्याए। मानिसले उनलाई अब के गर्नु सो भने।अलेकज्याणेडरले आफ्नो हात ती भिडहरु भएतिर हल्लाए किनभने उसले तिनीहरुलाई ब्याख्या गरेर बुझाउन चाहन्थे।

34 and having known that he is a Jew, one voice came out of all, for about two hours, crying, `Great `is' the Artemis of the Ephesians!'तर जब मानिसले चाल पाए कि अलेकज्याण्डर एक यहूदी थिए, तिनीहरु सबैबाट दुई घण्टा सम्म एउटै स्वर आयो, ‘‘एफिससवासीहरुकी आर्तेमिस महान हुन्।’’ यो आवाज दुई घण्टा सम्म चलिरह्यो।

35 And the public clerk having quieted the multitude, saith, `Men, Ephesians, why, who is the man that doth not know that the city of the Ephesians is a devotee of the great goddess Artemis, and of that which fell down from Zeus?त्यसपछि शहरका हाकीमले तिनीहरूलाई शान्त पार्ने प्रयास गरे अनि भने, “एफिससका मानिसहरू हो! के संसारमा कोही मानिस छन् जसले एफिसस शहरको महादेवी आर्तेमस मन्दिर छ अनि उनको मूर्ति जो स्वर्गवाट झरेको हो भन्ने जान्दैन?

36 these things, then, not being to be gainsaid, it is necessary for you to be quiet, and to do nothing rashly.कुनै मानिसले पनि त्यो सत्य होइन भन्न सक्तैन। यसर्थ तिमीहरू शान्त हौं अनि केही गर्न भन्दा अगाडी सोच।

37 `For ye brought these men, who are neither temple-robbers nor speaking evil of your goddess;तिमीहरूले यी मानिसहरूलाई ल्यायौ, तर तिनीहरूले हाम्रो देवी विरूद्ध एक शब्द पनि निन्दा गरेका छैनन्। तिनीहरूले मन्दिरबाट केही पनि चोरेका छैनन्।

38 if indeed, therefore, Demetrius and the artificers with him with any one have a matter, court `days' are held, and there are proconsuls; let them accuse one another.हाम्रो न्यायालयहरू छन् अनि त्यहाँ निर्णायकहरू छन्। डेमेत्रियस र उनका कारीगरहरूको कसैको विरोधमा केही छ भने तिनीहरू न्यायलयहरू जाउन्। न्यायलयमा तिनीहरूले आपसमा दोषारोपन गरून।

39 `And if ye seek after anything concerning other matters, in the legal assembly it shall be determined;अरू अझ केही चर्चा गर्न बाँकी रहे ती कुराहरू शहरवासीहरूको नियमित सभाले मिलाउने छ।

40 for we are also in peril of being accused of insurrection in regard to this day, there being no occasion by which we shall be able to give an account of this concourse;'किनभने आज यहाँ घटेको घटनाको कारणले अब दङ्गाको दोष आउने सम्भावना छ। किनभने आजको यस सभाको जब कुनै ठोस कारणै छैन, यस समस्याको विषयमा वास्तवमा वयान दिन सकिंदैन।”

41 and these things having said, he dismissed the assembly.शहरका हाकिमले यति भनेर सबैलाई घर-घर जान भने।
