Acts 11 - BBE (Nepali)

1 Now the Apostles and the brothers who were in Judaea had news that the word of God had been given to the Gentiles.यहूदीयामा प्रेरितहरू र दाज्यू-भाईहरूले गैर यहूदीहरूले पनि परमेश्वरको शिक्षालाई स्वीकार गरेको थाहा पाए।

2 And when Peter came to Jerusalem, those who kept the rule of circumcision had an argument with him,तर जब पत्रुस यरूशलेम र्फकिए कतिपय यहूदी विश्वासीहरूले उनीसँग त्यस विषयमा बहस गरे।

3 Saying, You went to men without circumcision, and took food with them.तिनीहरूले भने, “तपाईं ती गैर-यहूदीहरूका घर जानुभयो। तपाईंले त्यस्ता मानिसहरूसंग बसेर भोजन सम्म गर्नुभयो!”

4 But Peter gave them an account of it all in order, saying to them,पत्रुसले तिनीहरूलाई सम्पूर्ण कथा विस्तार गरेर बताए।

5 I was in the town of Joppa, at prayer: and falling into a deep sleep, I saw in a vision a vessel like a great cloth let down from heaven, and it came down to me:उनले भने, “म जोप्पा शहरमा थिएँ। मैले प्रार्थना गरिरहेको बेला एउटा दर्शन पाएँ। त्यस दर्शनमा मैले ठूलो लुगा जस्तो केही आकाशबाट तल ओर्लिरहेको देखे। त्यसलाई त्यसको चारै कोणबाट समातिएको थियो। त्यो म भएकोमा आयो।

6 And looking on it with attention I saw in it all sorts of beasts and birds.जब मैले भित्र हेर मैले त्यहाँ चारखुट्टे स्थलचर पशुहरू जंगली जनावर घस्रने सर्प जातिय प्राणि अनि आकाशका चराचुरूङ्गीहरू देखें।

7 And a voice came to my ears saying, Come, Peter; take them for food.तब मैले एउटा आवाजले मलाई भनिरहेको सुने, ‘उठ पत्रुस! कुनै पनि जीवित प्राणी मार र खाऊ!

8 But I said, No, Lord; for nothing common or unclean has ever come into my mouth.तर मैले भने, ‘म कदापि त्यसो गर्ने छैन, प्रभु! मैले त्यस्तो कुनै चीज खाएको छैन जुन अपवित्र अथवा अशुद्ध हो।’

9 But the voice, coming a second time from heaven, said, What God has made clean, do not you make common.तर आकाशबाट आएको आवाजले फेरि भन्यो, ‘परमेश्वरले घोषणा गर्नुभयो कि यी सबै चीजहरू शुद्ध छन। यसर्थ तिमी तिनीहरूलाई अपवित्र नसोच!’

10 And this was done three times, and they were all taken up again into heaven.यस्तो तीनपल्ट भयो। त्यसपछि सम्पूर्ण थोक आकाश तिरै लगियो।

11 And at that minute, three men, sent from Caesarea, came to the house where we were.त्यसै समयमा म बसिरहेको घरमा तीनजना मानिहरू आए। ती तीनजना मानिसहरूलाई सिजरिया शहरबाट मेरो निम्ति पठाइका थिए।

12 And the Spirit gave me orders to go with them, doubting nothing. And these six brothers came with me; and we went into that man's house:आत्माले मलाई नहिच्किचाइ कन जाऊ भन्नुभयो। यी छः जना दाज्यू-भाइहरू पनि मसंग आए। हामी कर्नीलियसको घरमा गयौं।

13 And he gave us an account of how he had seen the angel in his house, saying, Send to Joppa, and get Simon, named Peter, to come to you;कर्नीलियसले घरमा उभिरहेको स्वर्गदूतलाई देखेको कुरा गरे। स्वर्गदूतले उनलाई भने, ‘केही मानिसहरू जोप्पातिर पठाऊ अनि शिमोन पत्रुसलाई आउनु भन्ने निमन्त्रन गर।

14 Who will say words to you through which you and all your family may get salvation.उनले तिमीहरूलाई ती कुरा भन्नेछन् जसले तिमीलाई अनि तिम्रा घरमा बस्ने सबै मानिसहरूलाई बचाउँनेछन्।’

15 And, while I was talking to them, the Holy Spirit came on them, as on us at first.जब मैले भाषण शुरू गरें, पवित्र आत्मा तिनीहरूमा त्यसरी नै आउनु भयो जसरी प्रारम्भमा हामीकहाँ आउनष्ठ्वु भएको थियो।

16 And the words of the Lord came into my mind, how he said, The baptism of John was with water, but you will have baptism with the Holy Spirit.तब मलाई प्रभु येशूको वचनको सम्झना भयो। प्रभुले भन्नुभएको थियो, ‘यूहन्नाले मानिसहरूलाई पानीले बप्तिस्मा गरे, तर तिमी पवित्र आत्माद्वारा बप्तिस्मा हुनेछौ।’

17 If then God gave them, when they had faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, the same as he gave to us, who was I to go against God?प्रभुले ती मानिसहरूलाई त्यही उपहार दिनु भयो जुन हामीलाई दिनुभएको थियो जसले प्रभु येशू ख्रीष्टमाथि विश्वास गरे। तब म को हुँ परमेश्वर को काम बन्द गर्ने?”

18 And hearing these things they said nothing more, but gave glory to God, saying, Then to the Gentiles as to us has God given a change of heart, so that they may have life.जब यहूदी विश्वासीहरूले यी कुराहरू सुने, तिनीहरूले र्तक गर्न छाडे। तिनीहरूले परमेश्वरको प्रशंसा गरे र भने, “तब परमेश्वरले गैर-यहूदीहरूलाई पनि हृदय परिवर्तन गर्ने अनि हाम्रो जस्तै जीवन प्राप्त गर्ने अनुमति दिनु भयो।”

19 Then those who had gone away at the time of the trouble about Stephen, went as far as Phoenicia and Cyprus, preaching to the Jews only.स्तिफनस मारिए पछि खेदो शुरू गरिएको कारणले विश्वासीहरू चारै तर्फ छरपष्ट भए। कतिपय विश्वासीहरू फोनिसिया, साइप्रस र इन्टिओक जस्ता टाढा-टाढा ठाउँहरूमा गए। तर तिनीहरूले यहूदीहरूलाई मात्र सुसमाचार भने।

20 But some of them, men of Cyprus and Cyrene, when they came to Antioch, gave the good news about the Lord Jesus to the Greeks.कतिपय ती विश्वासीहरू साइप्रस र साइरेनीका नागरिकहरू थिए। जब ती मानिसहरू एन्टओक आइपुगे, तिनीहरू ग्रीकहरूसंग पनि बोल्न लागे अनि तिनीहरूलाई प्रभु येशूको विषयमा सुसमाचार भने।

21 And the power of the Lord was with them, and a great number had faith and were turned to the Lord.प्रभुको शक्ति तिनीहरूसंग थियो। अनि ठूलो संख्यामा मानिसहरूले प्रभुलाई विश्वास गर्न अनि अनुसरण गर्न लागे।

22 And news of them came to the ears of the church at Jerusalem: and they sent Barnabas as far as Antioch:एन्टिओकमा नयाँ विश्वासीहरू भएका समाचहरू यरूशलेमको मण्डलीमा पुग्यो। यसैले तिनीहरूले बर्णाबासलाई एन्टिओकमा पठाए।

23 Who, when he came and saw the grace of God, was glad; and he made clear to them the need of keeping near the Lord with all the strength of their hearts:बर्णाबास एक असल मानिस थिए। उ पवित्र-आत्मा र विश्वासले परिपूर्ण थियो। जब उनी त्यहाँ आइपुगे बर्णबासले एन्टिओकका मानिसहरूमा परमेश्वरले अत्यन्त अधिक आशीर्वाद दिनु भएको देखे। यसले उनलाई अत्यन्त खुशी बनायो।

24 For he was a good man and full of the Holy Spirit and of faith: and a great number were joined to the Lord.उनले तिनीहरूलाई भने, “आफ्ना विश्वासहरू कहिल्यै नहराऊ। सधैं प्रभुको आज्ञा भित्री हृदयले पालन गर।” अधिक भन्दा अधिक मानिसहरू परम प्रभुका विश्वासीहरू भए।

25 Then he went on to Tarsus, looking for Saul;त्यसपछि, बर्णाबास टार्सस भन्ने शहरतर्फ लागे। उनी शावललाई खोजिरहेका थिए।

26 And when he had come across him, he took him to Antioch. And they were with the church there for a year, teaching the people; and the disciples were first given the name of Christians in Antioch.शावललाई जब उनले भेट्टाए, बर्णाबासले तिनलाई एन्टिओक लगे। शावल र बर्णाबास त्यहाँ पुरा एक र्बष बसे। तिनीहरूले त्यँहा मण्डलीका सभाहरूमा भाग लिए अनि धेरै मानिसहरूलाई शिक्षा दिए। प्रथमपल्ट एन्टिओकमा विश्वासीहरूलाई “ख्रीष्टयनहरू” भनिए।

27 Now in those days prophets came from Jerusalem to Antioch.यस समयमा केही अगमवक्ताहरू यरूशलेमाबाट एन्टिओक तिर गए।

28 And one of them, named Agabus, said publicly through the Spirit that there would be serious need of food all over the earth: which came about in the time of Claudius.तिनीहरू मध्ये एकजना अगाबस थिए। एन्टिओकमा अगाबस उभिए अनि पवित्र-आत्माको मार्फत अगमवाणी गरे, “सम्पूर्ण संसारभरि महा अनिकाल हुनेछ।” (यो सम्राट क्लौडियसको समयमा घट्यो)।

29 And the disciples, everyone as he was able, made a decision to send help to the brothers living in Judaea:चेलाहरूले यहूदीयामा बस्ने आफ्ना दाज्यू-भाइ र दिदी-बहिनीहरूलाई सहायता पठाउने निर्णय गरे। प्रत्येकले आफूले जति सकिन्छ दिने निर्णय लिए।

30 Which they did, sending it to the rulers of the church by the hand of Barnabas and Saul.तिनीहरूले पैसा बटुले र बर्णाबास र शावललाई दिए तिनीहरूले ती पैसा यहूदीयाका अग्रजहरूलाई दिए।
