1 Peter 4 - BBE (Nepali)

1 So that as Jesus was put to death in the flesh, do you yourselves be of the same mind; for the death of the flesh puts an end to sin;जब ख्रीष्ट आफ्नो शरीरमा हुनु हुन्थ्यो, उहाँले यातना भोग्नु भयो। यसर्थ तिमीहरुले ख्रीष्ट कै विचारमा स्वयंलाई तयार पार्नु पर्छ। एक मानिस जसले आफ्नो शरीरमा रहँदा यातना भोगेकाछन् उसले पाप गर्न छोडेको छ।

2 So that you may give the rest of your lives in the flesh, not to the desires of men, but to the purpose of God.तिमीहरु स्वयंलाई तयार पार जसद्वारा तिमीहरु परमेश्वरको इच्छा अनुसारको कार्यमा बाँचेको जीवन उपयोग गर्नेछौ अनि मानिसहरुको विचार अनुसार होइन।

3 Because for long enough, in times past, we have been living after the way of the Gentiles, given up to the desires of the flesh, to drinking and feasting and loose behaviour and unclean worship of images;बितेको समयमा तिमीहरुले ती कुराहरु गरेर अत्याधिक समय नष्ट गर्यौ जुन विश्वास नगर्नेहरुले गर्छन्। तिमीहरु व्यभिचार कुवासना, अभिलाषा, मोज-मज्जा, मतवालापन अनि निषेदित मूर्ति पूजामा संलग्न रहयौ।

4 And they are wondering that you no longer go with them in this violent wasting of life, and are saying evil things of you:तिमीहरु त्यस्ता असभ्य वस्तुहरुमा भाग नलिँदा तिनीहरु आश्चर्य मानिरहेका छन्। येसैले तिनीहरु निन्दनीय कुरा गर्छन्।

5 But they will have to give an account of themselves to him who is ready to be the judge of the living and the dead.तर ती मानिसहरुले ख्रीष्टलाई लेखा दिनेछन् जो मरेका र जिउँदा मानिसहरुको न्याय गर्न तयार हुनुहुन्छ।

6 For this was the reason why the good news of Jesus was given even to the dead, so that they might be judged as men in the flesh, but might be living before God in the spirit.ती मानिसहरुलाई सुसमाचार प्रचार गरियो जो अहिले मरिसकेका छन् किनभने तिनीहरुले आफ्नो जीवन कालमा गरेका कर्मका लागि अरु सबैलाई गरिए जस्तै तिनीहरुलाई न्याय गरिनेछ। तर तीनीहरु प्रति सुसमाचार प्रचार गरियो जसद्वारा तिनीहरु परमेश्वर जीवित रहनु भए झैं आत्मामा जीवित रहन सक्छन्।

7 But the end of all things is near: so be serious in your behaviour and keep on the watch with prayer;समय नजिक आइरहेको छ जब सबै कुराको अन्त हुन्छ। यसर्थ आफ्नो मन स्वच्छ राख अनि स्वयंलाई नियन्त्रण गर। यसले तिमीहरुलाई प्रार्थना गर्नमा सहायता दिनेछ।

8 And most of all be warm in your love for one another; because in love there is forgiveness for sins without number:सबै भन्दा मुख्य, एक अर्कालाई गहन प्रेम गर। प्रेमले धेरै पापहरु ढाक्छ।

9 Keep open house for all with a glad heart;विना विरोध एक अर्कामा अतिथि सत्कार गर।

10 Making distribution among one another of whatever has been given to you, like true servants of the unmeasured grace of God;तिमीहरु प्रत्येकले परमेश्वरबाट आत्मिक उपहार प्राप्त गरेका छौ। विभिन्न तरिकामा तिमीहरुलाई परमेश्वरले आफ्नो अनुग्रह देखाउनु भएको छ। अनि तिमीहरूले सेवकहरु जस्तै दायित्व बहन गरेका छौ, यसर्थ परमेश्वरको उपहारको सदुपयोग गर।

11 If anyone has anything to say, let it be as the words of God; if anyone has the desire to be the servant of others, let him do it in the strength which is given by God; so that in all things God may have the glory through Jesus Christ, whose are the glory and the power for ever.मनिस जो बोल्छ उसले परमेश्वरको बचन बोल्नुपर्छ। मानिस जसले सेवा गर्छ उसले त्यो शक्तिद्वारा सेवा गर्नु पर्छ जो परमेश्वरले दिनु भएकोछ। तिमीहरुले त्यस प्रकारले कार्य गर्नु पर्छ जसद्वारा प्रत्येक कुरामा येशू ख्रीष्ट मार्फत परमेश्वर प्रशंसनीय हुनु हुनेछ। शक्ति अनि महिमा सदा सर्वदा उहाँके हो। आमिन।

12 Dear brothers, do not be surprised, as if it was something strange, if your faith is tested as by fire:मेरा मित्रहरु, तिमीहरुले भोगिरहेको भयानक कष्टमा आश्चर्य नमान। यो तिमीहरुको विश्वास जाँच गर्नलाई हो। नसोच कि तिमीहरूमाथि कुनै अलौकिक घटना घटिरहेछ।

13 But be glad that you are given a part in the pains of Christ; so that at the revelation of his glory you may have great joy.तर तिमीहरु खुशी हुनु पर्छ किनकि तिमीहरु ख्रीष्टका सहभागी बनिरहेकाछौ। तिमीहरु खुशी हुनेछौ अनि आनन्दले पूर्ण रहने छौ जब ख्रीष्टले आफ्नो महिमा देखाउनु हुनेछ।

14 If men say evil things of you because of the name of Christ, happy are you; for the Spirit of glory and of God is resting on you.तिमीहरुले ख्रीष्टलाई अनुसरण गरेकोमा जब मानिसहरुले गाली गर्छन् तिमीहरु धन्य हुन्छौ किनभने महिमाको आत्मा, तिमीहरुसंग हुन्छ।

15 Let no one among you undergo punishment as a taker of life, or as a thief, or as an evil-doer, or as one who is over-interested in other men's business;तिमीहरु कसैले पनि हत्यारा, चोर अनि नराम्रो कर्म गर्ने अथवा अर्काको विषयमा हस्तक्षेप गर्नेहरु जस्तो यातना भोग्न नपरोस्।

16 But if he undergoes punishment as a Christian, that is no shame to him; let him give glory to God in this name.तर आफू ख्रीष्टियान भएकोमा यदि तिमीले कष्ट भोग्छौ भने तिमी लज्जित हुनु पर्दैन। त्यस नामकोलागि बरु तिमीहरुले परमेश्वरको प्रशंसा गर्नु पर्छ।

17 For the time has come for the judging, starting with the church of God; but if it makes a start with us, what will be the end of those who are not under the rule of God?न्याय गरिने समय आएको छ। यो कार्य परमेश्वरको परिवारबाट शुरु गरिने छ। तर यदि त्यो न्याय गरिने कार्य हामीबाट शुरु भयो भने जसले परमेश्वरको सुसमाचार स्वीकार गर्दैनन् तिनीहरुको के अवस्था हुनेछ?

18 And if it is hard for even the good man to get salvation, what chance has the man without religion or the sinner?“यदि धार्मिक व्यक्तिलाई पनि बचाँउन अत्यन्तै गाह्रो पर्छ भने त्यो मानिस जो परमेश्वरको विरुद्धमा छ अनि महापापी छ, उमाथि के आउने हो?”

19 For this reason let those who by the purpose of God undergo punishment, keep on in well-doing and put their souls into the safe hands of their Maker.यसर्थ, ती मानिसहरु जो परमेश्वरले चाहेको तरिकामा कष्ट भोग्छन् तिनीहरुले आफ्ना प्राणहरु उनलाई सुम्पिनु पर्छ। परमेश्वर एक हुनुहुन्छ जसले तिनीहरुलाई सृष्टि गर्नु भयो अनि तिनीहरुले उहाँ माथि विश्वास राख्न सक्छन्। यसर्थ तिनीहरुले धार्मिक कार्यहरु गरिरहनु पर्छ।
