1 Adam, Sheth, Enosh,इस्राएलका छोराहरू- रूबेन, शिमोन, लेवी, यहूदा, इस्साकार, जबूलून

2 Kenan, Mahalaleel, Jered,दान, यूसुफ, बिन्यामीन, नप्ताली, गाद अनि आशेर थिए।

3 Henoch, Methuselah, Lamech,यहूदाका छोराहरू- एर, ओनान अनि शेला थिए। बतशअ तिनीहरूकी आमा थिइन्। बतशअ कनान देशकी स्त्री थिइन्। परमप्रभुले देख्नु भयो कि यहूदाका जेठा छोरा एर दुष्ट थियो। यसकारण परमप्रभुले एरलाई मारिदिनु भयो।

4 Noah, Shem, Ham, and Japheth.यहूदाको बुहारी तामारले पेरेस अनि जेरहलाई जन्म दिइन्। यसरी यहूदाका पाँच छोराहरू थिए।

5 Sons of Japheth: Gomer and Magog, and Madai, and Javan, and Tubal, and Meshech, and Tiras.पेरेसका छोराहरू- हेस्रोन र हामूल थिए।

6 And sons of Gomer: Ashchenaz, and Riphath, and Togarmah.जेरहका पाँचजना छोराहरू- थिए तिनीहरू जिम्री, एतान, हेमान, कल्कोल अनि दारा थिए।

7 And sons of Javan: Elisha, and Tarshishah, Kittim, and Dodanim.जिम्रीका छोरा कर्मी थिए। कर्मीको छोरा आकानथिए। आकान ती मानिस थिए जसले इस्राएल माथि धेरै कष्ट ल्याएका थिए। आकानले युद्धमबाट लिएका चीजहरू राखे। उसले ती सबै चिजहरू परमेश्वरलाई दिनु पर्ने थियो।

8 Sons of Ham: Cush, and Mizraim, Put, and Canaan.एतानका छोरा अजर्याह थिए।

9 And sons of Cush: Seba and Havilah, and Sabta, and Raamah, and Sabtecka. And sons of Raamah: Sheba and Dedan.हेब्रोनका छोराहरू यरहमेल, राम अनि कालेब थिए।

10 And Cush begat Nimrod: he began to be a mighty one in the land.राम अम्मीनादाबका पिता थिए, अम्मीनादाब नहशोनका पिता थिए। नहशोन यहूदामा अगुवा थिए।

11 And Mizraim begat the Ludim, and the Anamim, and the Lehabim, and the Naphtuhim,नहशोन सल्माका पिता थिए। सल्मा बोअजका पिता थिए।

12 and the Pathrusim, and the Casluhim (from whom came out the Philistim), and the Caphtorim.बोअज ओबेदका पिता थिए। ओबेद यिशैका पिता थिए।

13 And Canaan begat Zidon his first born, and Heth,यिशै एलीआबका पिता थिए। एलीआब यिशैका जेठा छोरा थिए। यिशैका माहिला छोरा अबीनादाब थिए। तिनका साहिंला छोरा शिमा थिए।

14 and the Jebusite, and the Amorite, and the Girgashite,नतनेल यिशैका काहिंला छोरा थिए। यिशैका अन्तरे छोरा रद्दै थिए।

15 and the Hivite, and the Arkite, and the Sinite,ओसेम यिशैक जन्तरे छोरा थिए अनि दाऊद कान्छा छोरा थिए।

16 and the Arvadite, and the Zemarite, and the Hamathite.तिनीहरूका बहिनीहरू सरूयाह अनि अबीगेल थिए। सरूयाहका तीन जना छोराहरू अबीशै, योआब अनि असाहेल थिए।

17 Sons of Shem: Elam and Asshur, and Arphaxad, and Lud, and Aram, and Uz, and Hul, and Gether, and Meshech.अबीगेल अमासाका आमा थिइन्। अमासाका पिता येतेर थिए। येतेर इश्माएली थिए।कालेबका सन्तानहरू

18 And Arphaxad begat Shelah, and Shelah begat Eber.कालेब हेस्रोनका छोरा थिए। कालेबकी पत्नी अजूबाबाट नानीहरू जन्मे। अजूबाको नाउँ यरीओत पनि थियो।अजूबाका छोराहरू येशेर, शोबाब अनि अर्दोन थिए।

19 And to Eber have been born two sons, the name of the one `is' Peleg, for in his days hath the land been divided, and the name of his brother is Joktan.जब अजूबाको मृत्यु भयो, कालेबले एप्रातलाई विवाह गरे। कालेब अनि एप्रातका एक छोरा थिए। तिनहरूले उसको नाउँ हूर राखे।

20 And Joktan begat Almodad, and Sheleph, and Hazarmaveth, and Jerah,हूर ऊरीका पिता थिए। ऊरी बसलेलका पिता थिए।

21 and Hadoram, and Uzal, and Diklah,पछि, जब हेस्रोन साठी र्बषका थिए, तिनले माकीरकी छोरीलाई विवाह गरे। माकीर गिलादका पिता थिए। हेस्रोनले माकीरकी छोरीसित शारीरिक सम्बन्ध गरे अनि तिनले सगूबलाई जन्म दिइन्।

22 and Ebal, and Abimael, and Sheba,सगूब याईरका पिता थिए। याईरको गिलाद देशमा तेईसवटा शहरहरू थिए।

23 and Ophir, and Havilah, and Jobab; all these `are' sons of Joktan.तर गशूर र अरामले याईरका गाउँहरू कब्जागरे। तिनीहरू मध्ये कनतर त्यसका वरिपरिका सा-साना शहरहरू थिए। जम्मा साठीवटा सा-साना शहरहरू थिए। यी सबै शहरहरू गिलादका पिता माकीरका छोराहरूका थिए।

24 Shem, Arphaxad, Shelah,हेस्रोनको मृत्यु एप्राताको कालेबको शहरमा भयो। तिनको मृत्यु भए पछि, तिनकी पत्नी अबीयाले तिनको निम्ति छोरो जन्माइन्। त्यो छोराको अशहूर नाउँ दिएको थियो अशहूर तकोका पिता थिए।

25 Eber, Peleg, Reu,यरहमेल हेस्रोनका जेठा छोरा थिए। यरहमेलका छोराहरू राम, बूना, ओरेन, ओसेम र अहियाह थिए। राम यरहमेलका जेठा छोरा थिए।

26 Serug, Nahor, Terah,यरहमेलकी अर्की पत्नी अतारा थिइन्। ओनामकी आमा अतारा थिइन्।

27 Abram -- he `is' Abraham.यरहमेलका जेठा छोरा रामका छोराहरू थिए। तिनीहरू मास, यामीन अनि एकेर थिए।

28 Sons of Abraham: Isaac and Ishmael.ओनामका छोराहरू शम्मै अनि यादा थिए। शम्मैका छोराहरू नादाब अनि अबीशूर हो।

29 These `are' their generations: first-born of Ishmael, Nebaioth, and Kedar, and Adheel, and Mibsam,अबीशूरकी पत्नीको नाउँ अबीहेल थियो। तिनीहरूका दुइ छोराहरू थिए। तिनीहरूका नाउँ अहबान अनि मोलीद थिए।

30 Mishma, and Dumah, Massa, Hadad, and Tema,नादाबका छोराहरू सेलेद अनि अप्पेम थिए। सेलेदको मृत्यु बिनासन्तान भयो।

31 Jetur, Naphish, and Kedema. These are sons of Ishmael.अप्पेमका छोरा यिशी थिए। यिशींका छोरा शेशान थिए। शेशानका छोरा अहलै थिए।

32 And sons of Keturah, Abraham's concubine: she bare Zimran, and Jokshan, and Medan, and Midian, and Ishbak, and Shuah. And sons of Jokshan: Sheba and Dedan.यादा शम्मैका भाइ थिए। यादाका छोराहरू येतेर अनि जोनाथन थिए। येतेरको मृत्यु सन्तान बिहीन भयो।

33 And sons of Midian: Ephah and Epher, and Henoch, and Abida, and Eldaah; all these `are' sons of Keturah.जोनाथनका छोराहरू पेलेत र जाजा थिए। यो यरहमेलका सन्तानको सूची थियो।

34 And Abraham begetteth Isaac. Sons of Isaac: Esau and Israel.शेशानका छोराहरू थिएनन्। तिनका छोरीहरू मात्र थिए। शेशान कहाँ यर्हा नाउँ गरेका एउटा मिश्री सेवक थिए।

35 Sons of Esau: Eliphaz, Reuel, and Jeush, and Jaalam, and Korah.शेशानले आफ्नी छोरीको विवाह यर्हासित गरी दिए। तिनीहरूका एक छोरा थिए। उसको नाउँ अत्तै थियो।

36 Sons of Eliphaz: Teman, and Omar, Zephi, and Gatam, Kenaz, and Timna, and Amalek.अत्तै नातानका पिता थिए। नातान जाबादका पिता थिए।

37 Sons of Reuel: Nahath, Zerah, Shammah, and Mizzah.जाबाद एपलालका पिता थिए। एपलाल ओबेदका पिता थिए।

38 And sons of Seir: Lotan, and Shobal, and Zibeon, and Anah, and Dishon, and Ezar, and Dishan.ओबेद येहूका पिता थिए। येहू अजर्याहका पिता थिए।

39 And sons of Lotan: Hori and Homam, and sister of Lotan `is' Timna.अजर्याह हेलेसका पिता थिए। हेलेस एलासाका पिता थिए।

40 Sons of Shobal: Alian, and Manahath, and Ebal, Shephi, and Onam. And sons of Zideon: Aiah and Anah.एलासा सिम्मैका पिता थिए। सिम्मै शल्लूमका पिता थिए।

41 The sons of Anah: Dishon. and sons of Dishon: Amram, and Eshban, and Ithran, and Cheran.शल्लूम यकम्याहका पिता थिए अनि यकम्याह एलीशामाका पिता थिए।

42 Sons of Ezer: Bilhan, and Zavan, Jakan. Sons of Dishan: Uz and Aran.कालेब यरहमेलका भाइ थिए। कालेबका छोराहरू यी थिएः तिनका जेठा छोरा मेशा थिए। मेशा जीपका पिता थिए। मारेशा पनि कालेबका छोरा थिए। मारेशा हेब्रोनका पिता थिए।

43 And these `are' the kings who reigned in the land of Edom before the reigning of a king of the sons of Israel: Bela son of Beor, and the name of his city `is' Dinhabah.हेब्रोनका छोराहरू- कोरह, तम्पूह, रेकेम अनि शेमा थिए।

44 And Bela dieth, and reign in his stead doth Jobab son of Zerah from Bozrali;शेमा रहमका पिता थिए। रहम योर्कामका पिता थिए। रेकेम शम्मैका पिता थिए।

45 and Jobab dieth, and reign in his stead doth Husham from the land of the Temanite;शम्मैको छोरा माओन थिए। माओन बेत्सूरका पिता थिए।

46 and Husham dieth, and reign in his stead doth Hadad, son of Bedad (who smiteth Midian in the field of Moab) and the name of his city `is' Avith;कालेबकी उप-पत्नीको नाउँ एपा थियो। एपा हारान, मोसा अनि गाजेजकी आमा थिइन्। हारान गाजेजका पिता थिए।

47 and Hadad dieth, and reign in his stead doth Samlah from Masrekah;यहदैका छोराहरू- रेगेम, योताम, गेशान, पेलेत, एपा अनि शाम हुन।

48 and Samlah dieth, and reign in his stead doth Shaul from Rehoboth of the River;माका कालेबकी अर्की उपपत्नी थिइन्। माका शेबेर अनि तिर्हानकी आमा थिइन्।

49 and Shaul dieth, and reign in his stead doth Baal-Hanan son of Achbor;माका, चाप अनि शबाकि पनि आमा थिइन्। चाप मदमन्नाका पिता थिए। शबा मक्बेना अनि गिबाका पिता थिए। कालेबकी छोरी अक्सा थिइन्।

50 and Baal-Hanan dieth, and reign in his stead doth Hadad, and the name of his city `is' Pai, and the name of his wife `is' Mehetabel daughter of Matred, daughter of Me-Zahab; Hadad also dieth.यो कालेबका सन्तानहरूको सूचि हो। हूर कालेबका जेठा छोरा थिए। तिनी एप्राताबाट जन्मिएका हुन। हूरका छोराहरू किर्यात-यारीमका संस्थापक शोबाल,

51 And chiefs of Edom are: chief Timnah, chief Aliah, chief Jetheth,बेतलेहेमका संस्थापक सल्मा अनि बेत-गादेरका संस्थापक हारेप थिए।

52 chief Aholibamah, chief Elah, chief Pinon,शोबाल किर्यात-यारीमका संस्थापक थिए। यो शोबालका सन्तानहरूको सूची हो- हारोए, मनुहोनीहरूका आधा मानिसहरू,

53 chief Kenaz, chief Teman, chief Mibzar,अनि किर्यात यारीमका परिवार समूह यिनीहरू- यित्री, पूही, शुमाती अनि मिश्राती मानिसहरू हुन्। सोराती अनि एश्ताओलीहरू मिश्रानी मानिसहरूबाट आएका थिए।

54 chief Magdiel, chief Iram. These `are' chiefs of Edom.यो सल्माका सन्तानहरूको सूची हो- बेतलेहेमबाट मानिसहरू नतोपाती थिए, अतारोत, बेतयोआब, मानहतका आधा जनसंख्याहरू, सोरी मानिसहरू, थिए। अनि ती पूजाहरीहरूका परिवार जो याबेशमा, तिरातमा, शिमातमा अनि सुचामा बस्थे। यी शास्त्रीहरू र केनी मानिसहरू हुन जो हम्मतबाट आए। हम्मत बेत-रेकाबका घरका संस्थापक थिए।
