Judges 18 in Tamil

1 அந்நாட்களில் இஸ்ரவேலிலே ராஜா இல்லை; தாண் கோத்திரத்தார் குடியிருக்கிறதற்கு, தங்களுக்குச் சுதந்தரம் தேடினார்கள்; அந்நாள்வரைக்கும் அவர்களுக்கு இஸ்ரவேல் கோத்திரங்கள் நடுவே போந்த சுதந்தரம் கிடைக்கவில்லை. In those days there was no king in Israel: and in those days the tribe of the Danites sought them an inheritance to dwell in; for unto that day all their inheritance had not fallen unto them among the tribes of Israel.

2 ஆகையால் தேசத்தை உளவுபார்த்து வரும்படி, தாண் புத்திரர் தங்கள் கோத்திரத்திலே பலத்த மனுஷராகிய ஐந்து பேரைத் தங்கள் எல்லைகளில் இருக்கிற சோராவிலும் எஸ்தாவோலிலுமிருந்து அனுப்பி: நீங்கள் போய், தேசத்தை ஆராய்ந்துபார்த்து வாருங்கள் என்று அவர்களோடே சொன்னார்கள்; அவர்கள் எப்பிராயீம் மலைத்தேசத்தில் இருக்கிற மீகாவின் வீடுமட்டும் போய், அங்கே இராத்தங்கினார்கள். And the children of Dan sent of their family five men from their coasts, men of valor, from Zorah, and from Eshtaol, to spy out the land, and to search it; and they said unto them, Go, search the land: who when they came to mount Ephraim, to the house of Micah, they lodged there.

5 அப்பொழுது அவர்கள் அவனை நோக்கி: எங்கள் பிரயாணம் அநுகூலமாய் முடியுமா என்று நாங்கள் அறியும்படி தேவனிடத்தில் கேள் என்றார்கள். And they said unto him, Ask counsel, we pray thee, of God, that we may know whether our way which we go shall be prosperous.

6 அவர்களுக்கு அந்த ஆசாரியன்: சமாதானத்தோடே போங்கள்; உங்கள் பிரயாணம் கர்த்தருக்கு ஏற்றது என்றான். And the priest said unto them, Go in peace: before the LORD is your way wherein ye go.

7 அப்பொழுது அந்த ஐந்து மனுஷரும் புறப்பட்டு, லாயீசுக்குப் போய், அதில் குடியிருக்கிற ஜனங்கள் சீதோனியருடைய வழக்கத்தின்படியே, பயமில்லாமல் அமரிக்கையும் சுகமுமாய் இருக்கிறதையும், தேசத்திலே அவர்களை அடக்கி ஆள யாதொரு அதிகாரியும் இல்லை என்பதையும், அவர்கள் சீதோனியருக்குத் தூரமானவர்கள் என்பதையும், அவர்களுக்கு ஒருவரோடும் கவை காரியம் இல்லை என்பதையும் கண்டு, Then the five men departed, and came to Laish, and saw the people that were therein, how they dwelt careless, after the manner of the Zidonians, quiet and secure; and there was no magistrate in the land, that might put them to shame in any thing; and they were far from the Zidonians, and had no business with any man.

8 சோராவிலும் எஸ்தாவோலிலும் இருக்கிற தங்கள் சகோதரரிடத்திற்குத் திரும்பிவந்தார்கள். அவர்கள் சகோதரர்: நீங்கள் கொண்டுவருகிற செய்தி என்ன என்று அவர்களைக் கேட்டார்கள். And they came unto their brethren to Zorah and Eshtaol: and their brethren said unto them, What say ye?

9 அதற்கு அவர்கள்: எழும்புங்கள் அவர்களுக்கு விரோதமாய்ப் போவோம் வாருங்கள்; அந்த தேசத்தைப் பார்த்தோம், அது மிகவும் நன்றாயிருக்கிறது நீங்கள் சும்மாயிருப்பீர்களா? அந்த தேசத்தைச் சுதந்தரித்துக் கொள்ளும்படி புறப்பட்டுப்போக அசதியாயிராதேயுங்கள். And they said, Arise, that we may go up against them: for we have seen the land, and, behold, it is very good: and are ye still? be not slothful to go, and to enter to possess the land.

When ye go, ye shall come unto a people secure, and to a large land: for God hath given it into your hands; a place where there is no want of any thing that is in the earth.

11 அப்பொழுது சோராவிலும் எஸ்தாவோலிலும் இருக்கிற தாண் கோத்திரத்தாரில் அறுநூறுபேர் ஆயுதபாணிகளாய் அங்கேயிருந்து புறப்பட்டுப்போய், And there went from thence of the family of the Danites, out of Zorah and out of Eshtaol, six hundred men appointed with weapons of war.

12 யூதாவிலுள்ள கீரியாத்யாரீமிலே பாளயமிறங்கினார்கள்; ஆதலால் அது இந்நாள் வரைக்கும் மக்னிதான் என்னப்படும்; அது கீரியாத்யாரீமின் பின்னாலே இருக்கிறது. And they went up, and pitched in Kirjathjearim, in Judah: wherefore they called that place Mahanehdan unto this day: behold, it is behind Kirjathjearim.

13 பின்பு அவர்கள் அங்கேயிருந்து எப்பிராயீம் மலைக்குப்போய், மீகாவின் வீடுமட்டும் வந்தார்கள். And they passed thence unto mount Ephraim, and came unto the house of Micah.

14 அப்பொழுது லாயீசின் நாட்டை உளவுபார்க்கப் போய்வந்த ஐந்து மனுஷர் தங்கள் சகோதரரைப் பார்த்து: இந்த வீடுகளில் ஏபோத்தும் சுரூபங்களும் வெட்டப்பட்ட விக்கிரகமும் வார்ப்பிக்கப்பட்ட விக்கிரகமும் இருக்கிறது என்று உங்களுக்குத் தெரியுமா; இப்போதும் நீங்கள் செய்யவேண்டியதை யோசித்துக்கொள்ளுங்கள் என்றார்கள். Then answered the five men that went to spy out the country of Laish, and said unto their brethren, Do ye know that there is in these houses an ephod, and teraphim, and a graven image, and a molten image? now therefore consider what ye have to do.

15 அப்பொழுது அவ்விடத்திற்குத் திரும்பி, மீகாவின் வீட்டில் இருக்கிற லேவியனான வாலிபனின் வீட்டிலே வந்து, அவனிடத்தில் சுகசெய்தி விசாரித்தார்கள். And they turned thitherward, and came to the house of the young man the Levite, even unto the house of Micah, and saluted him.

16 ஆயுதபாணிகளாகிய தாண் புத்திரர் அறுநூறுபேரும் வாசற்படியிலே நின்றார்கள். And the six hundred men appointed with their weapons of war, which were of the children of Dan, stood by the entering of the gate.

17 ஆசாரியனும் ஆயுதபாணிகளாகிய அறுநூறுபேரும் வாசற்படியிலே நிற்கையில், தேசத்தை உளவுபார்க்கப் போய் வந்த அந்த ஐந்து மனுஷர் உள்ளே புகுந்து, வெட்டப்பட்ட விக்கிரகத்தையும் ஏபோத்தையும் சுரூபங்களையும் வார்ப்பிக்கப்பட்ட விக்கிரகத்தையும் எடுத்துக்கொண்டு வந்தார்கள். And the five men that went to spy out the land went up, and came in thither, and took the graven image, and the ephod, and the teraphim, and the molten image: and the priest stood in the entering of the gate with the six hundred men that were appointed with weapons of war.

18 அவர்கள் மீகாவின் வீட்டிற்குள் புகுந்து, வெட்டப்பட்ட விக்கிரகத்தையும் ஏபோத்தையும் சுரூபங்களையும் வார்ப்பிக்கப்பட்ட விக்கிரகத்தையும் எடுத்துக்கொண்டு வருகிறபோது, ஆசாரியன் அவர்களைப் பார்த்து: நீங்கள் செய்கிறது என்ன என்று கேட்டான். And these went into Micah's house, and fetched the carved image, the ephod, and the teraphim, and the molten image. Then said the priest unto them, What do ye?

And they said unto him, Hold thy peace, lay thine hand upon thy mouth, and go with us, and be to us a father and a priest: is it better for thee to be a priest unto the house of one man, or that thou be a priest unto a tribe and a family in Israel?

20 அப்பொழுது ஆசாரியனுடைய மனது இதமியப்பட்டு, அவன் ஏபோத்தையும் சுரூபங்களையும் வெட்டப்பட்ட விக்கிரகத்தையும் எடுத்துக்கொண்டு, ஜனங்களுக்குள்ளே புகுந்தான். And the priest's heart was glad, and he took the ephod, and the teraphim, and the graven image, and went in the midst of the people.

21 அவர்கள் திரும்பும்படி புறப்பட்டு, பிள்ளைகளையும், ஆடுமாடுகளையும், பண்டம், பாடிகளையும் தங்களுக்கு முன்னே போகும்படி செய்தார்கள். So they turned and departed, and put the little ones and the cattle and the carriage before them.

23 அவர்களைப் பார்த்துக் கூப்பிட்டார்கள்; அவர்கள் திரும்பிப்பார்த்து, மீகாவை நோக்கி: நீ இப்படிக் கூட்டத்துடன் வருகிற காரியம் என்ன என்று கேட்டார்கள். And they cried unto the children of Dan. And they turned their faces, and said unto Micah, What aileth thee, that thou comest with such a company?

24 அதற்கு அவன்: நான் உண்டுபண்ணின என்னுடைய தெய்வங்களையும் அந்த ஆசாரியனையுங்கூட நீங்கள் கொண்டுபோகிறீர்களே; இனி எனக்கு என்ன இருக்கிறது; நீ கூப்பிடுகிற காரியம் என்ன என்று நீங்கள் என்னிடத்தில் எப்படிக் கேட்கலாம் என்றான். And he said, Ye have taken away my gods which I made, and the priest, and ye are gone away: and what have I more? and what is this that ye say unto me, What aileth thee?

25 தாண் புத்திரர் அவனைப் பார்த்து: எங்கள் காதுகள் கேட்க கூக்குரல் இடாதே, இட்டால் கோபிகள் உங்கள் மேல் விழுவார்கள்; அப்பொழுது உன் ஜீவனுக்கும் உன் வீட்டாரின் ஜீவனுக்கும் மோசம் வருவித்துக்கொள்வாய் என்று சொல்லி, And the children of Dan said unto him, Let not thy voice be heard among us, lest angry fellows run upon thee, and thou lose thy life, with the lives of thy household.

26 தங்கள் வழியே நடந்துபோனார்கள்; அவர்கள் தன்னைப்பார்க்கிலும் பலத்தவர்கள் என்று மீகா கண்டு, அவன் தன் வீட்டுக்குத் திரும்பினான். And the children of Dan went their way: and when Micah saw that they were too strong for him, he turned and went back unto his house.

And they took the things which Micah had made, and the priest which he had, and came unto Laish, unto a people that were at quiet and secure: and they smote them with the edge of the sword, and burnt the city with fire.

And they built a city, and dwelt therein.

29 பூர்வத்திலே லாயீஸ் என்னும் பேர் கொண்டிருந்த அந்தப் பட்டணத்திற்கு இஸ்ரவேலுக்குப் பிறந்த தங்கள் தகப்பனாகிய தாணுடைய நாமத்தின்படியே தாண் என்று பேரிட்டார்கள். And they called the name of the city Dan, after the name of Dan their father, who was born unto Israel: howbeit the name of the city was Laish at the first.

30 அப்பொழுது தாண் புத்திரர் அந்தச் சுரூபத்தைத் தங்களுக்கு ஸ்தாபித்துக்கொண்டார்கள்; மனாசேயின் குமாரனாகிய கெர்சோனின் மகன் யோனத்தானும், அவன் குமாரனும் அந்தத் தேசத்தார் சிறைப்பட்டுப் போன நாள்மட்டும், தாண் கோத்திரத்தாருக்கு ஆசாரியராயிருந்தார்கள். And the children of Dan set up the graven image: and Jonathan, the son of Gershom, the son of Manasseh, he and his sons were priests to the tribe of Dan until the day of the captivity of the land.

31 தேவனுடைய ஆலயம் சீலோவிலிருந்த காலமுழுவதும் அவர்கள் மீகா உண்டுபண்ணின சுரூபத்தை வைத்துக்கொண்டிருந்தார்கள். And they set them up Micah's graven image, which he made, all the time that the house of God was in Shiloh.

1 Annaatkalil isravaelilae raajaa illai; thaann koththiraththaar kutiyirukkiratharku, thangalukkuch suthantharam thaetinaarkal; annaalvaraikkum avarkalukku Israel koththirangal naduvae pontha suthantharam kitaikkavillai. In those days there was no king in Israel: and in those days the tribe of the Danites sought them an inheritance to dwell in; for unto that day all their inheritance had not fallen unto them among the tribes of Israel.

2 Aakaiyaal thaesaththai ulavupaarththu varumpati, thaann puththirar thangal koththiraththilae palaththa manusharaakiya ainthu paeraith thangal ellaikalil irukkira soraavilum esthaavolilumirunthu anuppi: neengal poy, thaesaththai aaraaynthupaarththu vaarungal entu avarkalotae sonnaarkal; avarkal eppiraayeem malaiththaesaththil irukkira meekaavin veedumattum poy, angae iraaththanginaarkal. And the children of Dan sent of their family five men from their coasts, men of valor, from Zorah, and from Eshtaol, to spy out the land, and to search it; and they said unto them, Go, search the land: who when they came to mount Ephraim, to the house of Micah, they lodged there.

3 Avarkal meekaavin veettanntai irukkaiyil, laeviyanaana vaalipanutaiya saththaththai arinthu, angae avanidaththil poy: unnai ingae alaiththuvanthathu yaar? Ivvidaththil enna seykiraay? Unakku ingae irukkirathu enna entu avanidaththil kaettarkal. When they were by the house of Micah, they knew the voice of the young man the Levite: and they turned in thither, and said unto him, Who brought thee hither? and what makest thou in this place? and what hast thou here?

4 Atharku avan: inna innapati meekaa enakkuch seythaan; enakkuch sampalam porunthinaan; avanukku aasaariyanaanaen entan. And he said unto them, Thus and thus dealeth Micah with me, and hath hired me, and I am his priest.

5 Appoluthu avarkal avanai Nnokki: engal pirayaanam anukoolamaay mutiyumaa entu naangal ariyumpati thaevanidaththil kael entarkal. And they said unto him, Ask counsel, we pray thee, of God, that we may know whether our way which we go shall be prosperous.

6 Avarkalukku antha aasaariyan: samaathaanaththotae pongal; ungal pirayaanam karththarukku aettathu entan. And the priest said unto them, Go in peace: before the LORD is your way wherein ye go.

7 Appoluthu antha ainthu manusharum purappattu, laayeesukkup poy, athil kutiyirukkira janangal seethoniyarutaiya valakkaththinpatiyae, payamillaamal amarikkaiyum sukamumaay irukkirathaiyum, thaesaththilae avarkalai adakki aala yaathoru athikaariyum illai enpathaiyum, avarkal seethoniyarukkuth thooramaanavarkal enpathaiyum, avarkalukku oruvarodum kavai kaariyam illai enpathaiyum kanndu, Then the five men departed, and came to Laish, and saw the people that were therein, how they dwelt careless, after the manner of the Zidonians, quiet and secure; and there was no magistrate in the land, that might put them to shame in any thing; and they were far from the Zidonians, and had no business with any man.

8 Soraavilum esthaavolilum irukkira thangal sakothararidaththirkuth thirumpivanthaarkal. Avarkal sakotharar: neengal konnduvarukira seythi enna entu avarkalaik kaettarkal. And they came unto their brethren to Zorah and Eshtaol: and their brethren said unto them, What say ye?

9 Atharku avarkal: elumpungal avarkalukku virothamaayp povom vaarungal; antha thaesaththaip paarththom, athu mikavum nantayirukkirathu neengal summaayiruppeerkalaa? Antha thaesaththaich suthanthariththuk kollumpati purappattuppoka asathiyaayiraathaeyungal. And they said, Arise, that we may go up against them: for we have seen the land, and, behold, it is very good: and are ye still? be not slothful to go, and to enter to possess the land.

10 Neengal angae serumpothu, sukamaayk kutiyirukkira janangalidaththil seruveerkal; antha thaesam visthaaramaayirukkirathu; Dhevan athai ungal kaiyil oppukkoduththaar; athu poomiyilulla sakala vasthuvum kuraivillaamalirukkira idam entarkal. When ye go, ye shall come unto a people secure, and to a large land: for God hath given it into your hands; a place where there is no want of any thing that is in the earth.

11 Appoluthu soraavilum esthaavolilum irukkira thaann koththiraththaaril araுnooraுpaer aayuthapaannikalaay angaeyirunthu purappattuppoy, And there went from thence of the family of the Danites, out of Zorah and out of Eshtaol, six hundred men appointed with weapons of war.

12 Yoothaavilulla geeriyaathyaareemilae paalayamiranginaarkal; aathalaal athu innaal varaikkum maknithaan ennappadum; athu geeriyaathyaareemin pinnaalae irukkirathu. And they went up, and pitched in Kirjathjearim, in Judah: wherefore they called that place Mahanehdan unto this day: behold, it is behind Kirjathjearim.

13 Pinpu avarkal angaeyirunthu eppiraayeem malaikkuppoy, meekaavin veedumattum vanthaarkal. And they passed thence unto mount Ephraim, and came unto the house of Micah.

14 Appoluthu laayeesin naattaை ulavupaarkkap poyvantha ainthu manushar thangal sakothararaip paarththu: intha veedukalil aepoththum suroopangalum vettappatta vikkirakamum vaarppikkappatta vikkirakamum irukkirathu entu ungalukkuth theriyumaa; ippothum neengal seyyavaenntiyathai yosiththukkollungal entarkal. Then answered the five men that went to spy out the country of Laish, and said unto their brethren, Do ye know that there is in these houses an ephod, and teraphim, and a graven image, and a molten image? now therefore consider what ye have to do.

15 Appoluthu avvidaththirkuth thirumpi, meekaavin veettil irukkira laeviyanaana vaalipanin veettilae vanthu, avanidaththil sukaseythi visaariththaarkal. And they turned thitherward, and came to the house of the young man the Levite, even unto the house of Micah, and saluted him.

16 Aayuthapaannikalaakiya thaann puththirar araுnooraுpaerum vaasarpatiyilae nintarkal. And the six hundred men appointed with their weapons of war, which were of the children of Dan, stood by the entering of the gate.

17 Aasaariyanum aayuthapaannikalaakiya araுnooraுpaerum vaasarpatiyilae nirkaiyil, thaesaththai ulavupaarkkap poy vantha antha ainthu manushar ullae pukunthu, vettappatta vikkirakaththaiyum aepoththaiyum suroopangalaiyum vaarppikkappatta vikkirakaththaiyum eduththukkonndu vanthaarkal. And the five men that went to spy out the land went up, and came in thither, and took the graven image, and the ephod, and the teraphim, and the molten image: and the priest stood in the entering of the gate with the six hundred men that were appointed with weapons of war.

18 Avarkal meekaavin veettirkul pukunthu, vettappatta vikkirakaththaiyum aepoththaiyum suroopangalaiyum vaarppikkappatta vikkirakaththaiyum eduththukkonndu varukirapothu, aasaariyan avarkalaip paarththu: neengal seykirathu enna entu kaettan. And these went into Micah's house, and fetched the carved image, the ephod, and the teraphim, and the molten image. Then said the priest unto them, What do ye?

19 Atharku avarkal: nee paesaathae, un vaayai mootikkonndu, engalotaekooda vanthu engalukkuth thakappanum aasaariyanumaayiru; nee orae oruvan veettukku aasaariyanaayirukkirathu nallatho? Isravaelil oru koththiraththirkum vamsaththirkum aasaariyanaayirukkirathu nallatho? Entarkal. And they said unto him, Hold thy peace, lay thine hand upon thy mouth, and go with us, and be to us a father and a priest: is it better for thee to be a priest unto the house of one man, or that thou be a priest unto a tribe and a family in Israel?

20 Appoluthu aasaariyanutaiya manathu ithamiyappattu, avan aepoththaiyum suroopangalaiyum vettappatta vikkirakaththaiyum eduththukkonndu, janangalukkullae pukunthaan. And the priest's heart was glad, and he took the ephod, and the teraphim, and the graven image, and went in the midst of the people.

21 Avarkal thirumpumpati purappattu, pillaikalaiyum, aadumaadukalaiyum, panndam, paatikalaiyum thangalukku munnae pokumpati seythaarkal. So they turned and departed, and put the little ones and the cattle and the carriage before them.

22 Avarkal purappattu, meekaavin veettaை vittuk konjanthooram ponapothu, meekaavin veettirku ayalveettar koottangaூti, thaann puththiraraith thodarnthuvanthu, And when they were a good way from the house of Micah, the men that were in the houses near to Micah's house were gathered together, and overtook the children of Dan.

23 Avarkalaip paarththuk kooppittarkal; avarkal thirumpippaarththu, meekaavai Nnokki: nee ippatik koottaththudan varukira kaariyam enna entu kaettarkal. And they cried unto the children of Dan. And they turned their faces, and said unto Micah, What aileth thee, that thou comest with such a company?

24 Atharku avan: naan unndupannnnina ennutaiya theyvangalaiyum antha aasaariyanaiyungaூda neengal konndupokireerkalae; ini enakku enna irukkirathu; nee kooppidukira kaariyam enna entu neengal ennidaththil eppatik kaetkalaam entan.
