அவன் போய், மெல்லிய துப்பட்டியை வாங்கிக்கொண்டுவந்து, அவரை இறக்கி, அந்தத் துப்பட்டியிலே சுற்றி, கன்மலையில் வெட்டியிருந்த கல்லறையிலே அவரை வைத்து, கல்லறையின் வாசலில் ஒரு கல்லைப் புரட்டிவைத்தான்.

அவன்போய், மெல்லிய போர்வையை வாங்கிக்கொண்டுவந்து, அவரை இறக்கி, அந்தத் போர்வையிலே சுற்றி, கன்மலையில் வெட்டியிருந்த கல்லறையிலே அவரை வைத்து, கல்லறையின் வாசலில் ஒரு கல்லைப் புரட்டி வைத்தான்.

யோசேப்பு மெல்லிய துணியை வாங்கி வந்தான். சிலுவையில் இருந்து இயேசுவின் சரீரத்தை இறக்கி அதனைத் துணியால் சுற்றினான். பிறகு அச்சரீரத்தைக் கொண்டு போய் பாறையில் வெட்டப்பட்டிருந்த ஒரு கல்லறையில் வைத்தான். கல்லறை வாசலை ஒரு பாறாங்கல்லால் மூடிவிட்டான்.

And he bought a linen cloth, and taking him down, wound him in the linen cloth, and laid him in a tomb which had been hewn out of a rock; and he rolled a stone against the door of the tomb.
