പ്രവാചകശിഷ്യന്മാരുടെ ഭാര്യമാരിൽ ഒരുത്തി എലീശയോടു നിലവിളിച്ചു: നിന്റെ ദാസനായ എന്റെ ഭർത്താവു മരിച്ചുപോയി; നിന്റെ ദാസൻ യഹോവാഭക്തനായിരുന്നു എന്നു നിനക്കറിയാമല്ലോ; ഇപ്പോൾ കടക്കാരൻ എന്റെ രണ്ടു മക്കളെ പിടിച്ചു അടിമകളാക്കുവാൻ വന്നിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

Now there cried a certain woman of the wives of the sons of the prophets unto Elisha, saying, Thy servant my husband is dead; and thou knowest that thy servant did fear the LORD: and the creditor is come to take unto him my two sons to be bondmen.

knowest יָדַ֔עְתָּ yādaʿ ya-DA

fear יָרֵ֖א yārēʾ ya-RAY
אֶת ʾēt ate
the Lord: יְהוָ֑ה yĕhōwâ yeh-hoh-VA
and the creditor וְהַ֨נֹּשֶׁ֔ה nāšâ na-SHA
is come בָּ֗א bôʾ boh
to take לָקַ֜חַת lāqaḥ la-KAHK
