എന്നാൽ ഫെലിസ്ത്യപ്രഭുക്കന്മാർ യുദ്ധത്തിന്നു പുറപ്പെട്ടു; അവർ പുറപ്പെടുമ്പോഴൊക്കെയും ദാവീദ് ശൌലിന്റെ സകലഭൃത്യന്മാരെക്കാളും കൃതാർത്ഥനായിരുന്നു; അവന്റെ പേർ വിശ്രുതമായ്തീർന്നു.
