Psalm 18 - DBY (Malayalam)

1 {To the chief Musician. [A Psalm] of David, the servant of Jehovah, who spoke to Jehovah the words of this song in the day that Jehovah had delivered him out of the hand of all his enemies and out of the hand of Saul. And he said,} I will love thee, O Jehovah, my strength.എന്റെ ബലമായ യഹോവേ, ഞാൻ നിന്നെ സ്നേഹിക്കുന്നു.

2 Jehovah is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; my ùGod, my rock, in whom I will trust; my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my high tower.യഹോവ എന്റെ ശൈലവും എന്റെ കോട്ടയും എന്റെ രക്ഷകനും എന്റെ ദൈവവും ഞാൻ ശരണമാക്കുന്ന എന്റെ പാറയും എന്റെ പരിചയും എന്റെ രക്ഷയായ കൊമ്പും എന്റെ ഗോപുരവും ആകുന്നു.

3 I will call upon Jehovah, who is to be praised: so shall I be saved from mine enemies.സ്തൂത്യനായ യഹോവയെ ഞാൻ വിളിച്ചപേക്ഷിക്കയും എന്റെ ശത്രുക്കളുടെ കയ്യിൽനിന്നു രക്ഷപ്രാപിക്കയും ചെയ്യും.

4 The bands of death encompassed me, and torrents of Belial made me afraid.മരണപാശങ്ങൾ എന്നെ ചുറ്റി; അഗാധപ്രവാഹങ്ങൾ എന്നെ ഭ്രമിപ്പിച്ചു.

5 The bands of Sheol surrounded me, the cords of death encountered me.പാതാളപാശങ്ങൾ എന്നെ വളഞ്ഞു; മരണത്തിന്റെ കണികളും എന്നെ തുടർന്നു പിടിച്ചു.

6 In my distress I called upon Jehovah, and I cried out to my God; he heard my voice out of his temple, and my cry came before him, into his ears.എന്റെ കഷ്ടതയിൽ ഞാൻ യഹോവയെ വിളിച്ചപേക്ഷിച്ചു, എന്റെ ദൈവത്തോടു നിലവിളിച്ചു; അവൻ തന്റെ മന്ദിരത്തിൽനിന്നു എന്റെ അപേക്ഷ കേട്ടു; തിരുമുമ്പിൽ ഞാൻ കഴിച്ച പ്രാർത്ഥന അവന്റെ ചെവിയിൽ എത്തി.

7 Then the earth shook and quaked, and the foundations of the mountains trembled and shook, because he was wroth.ഭൂമി ഞെട്ടിവിറെച്ചു; മലകളുടെ അടിസ്ഥാനങ്ങൾ ഇളകി; അവൻ കോപിക്കയാൽ അവകുലുങ്ങിപ്പോയി.

8 There went up a smoke out of his nostrils, and fire out of his mouth devoured: coals burned forth from it.അവന്റെ മൂക്കിൽനിന്നു പുക പൊങ്ങി; അവന്റെ വായിൽനിന്നു തീ പുറപ്പെട്ടു ദഹിപ്പിച്ചു. തീക്കനൽ അവങ്കൽനിന്നു ജ്വലിച്ചു.

9 And he bowed the heavens, and came down; and darkness was under his feet.അവൻ ആകാശം ചായിച്ചിറങ്ങി; കൂരിരുൾ അവന്റെ കാൽക്കീഴുണ്ടായിരുന്നു.

10 And he rode upon a cherub and did fly; yea, he flew fast upon the wings of the wind.അവൻ കെരൂബിനെ വാഹനമാക്കി പറന്നു; അവൻ കാറ്റിന്റെ ചിറകിന്മേലിരുന്നു പറപ്പിച്ചു.

11 He made darkness his secret place, his tent round about him: darkness of waters, thick clouds of the skies.അവൻ അന്ധകാരത്തെ തന്റെ മറവും ജലതമസ്സിനെയും ആകാശമേഘങ്ങളെയും തനിക്കു ചുറ്റും കൂടാരവുമാക്കി.

12 From the brightness before him his thick clouds passed forth: hail and coals of fire.അവന്റെ മുമ്പിലുള്ള പ്രകാശത്താൽ ആലിപ്പഴവും തീക്കനലും അവന്റെ മേഘങ്ങളിൽകൂടി പൊഴിഞ്ഞു.

13 And Jehovah thundered in the heavens, and the Most High uttered his voice: hail and coals of fire.യഹോവ ആകാശത്തിൽ ഇടി മുഴക്കി, അത്യുന്നതൻ തന്റെ നാദം കേൾപ്പിച്ചു, ആലിപ്പഴവും തീക്കനലും പൊഴിഞ്ഞു.

14 And he sent his arrows, and scattered [mine enemies]; and he shot forth lightnings, and discomfited them.അവൻ അസ്ത്രം എയ്തു അവരെ ചിതറിച്ചു; മിന്നൽ അയച്ചു അവരെ തോല്പിച്ചു.

15 And the beds of the waters were seen, and the foundations of the world were uncovered at thy rebuke, Jehovah, at the blast of the breath of thy nostrils.യഹോവേ, നിന്റെ ഭർത്സനത്താലും നിന്റെ മൂക്കിലെ ശ്വാസത്തിന്റെ ഊത്തിനാലും നീർത്തോടുകൾ കാണായ്‍വന്നു ഭൂതലത്തിന്റെ അടിസ്ഥാനങ്ങൾ വെളിപ്പെട്ടു.

16 He reached forth from above, he took me, he drew me out of great waters:അവൻ ഉയരത്തിൽനിന്നു കൈ നീട്ടി എന്നെ പിടിച്ചു, പെരുവെള്ളത്തിൽനിന്നു എന്നെ വലിച്ചെടുത്തു

17 He delivered me from my strong enemy, and from them that hated me; for they were mightier than I.ബലമുള്ള ശത്രുവിന്റെ കയ്യിൽനിന്നും എന്നെ പകെച്ചവരുടെ പക്കൽനിന്നും അവൻ എന്നെ വിടുവിച്ചു; അവർ എന്നിലും ബലമേറിയവരായിരുന്നു.

18 They encountered me in the day of my calamity, but Jehovah was my stay.എന്റെ അനർത്ഥദിവസത്തിൽ അവർ എന്നെ ആക്രമിച്ചു; എന്നാൽ യഹോവ എനിക്കു തുണയായിരുന്നു.

19 And he brought me forth into a large place; he delivered me, because he delighted in me.അവൻ എന്നെ വിശാലതയിലേക്കു കൊണ്ടുവന്നു; എന്നിൽ പ്രസാദിച്ചിരുന്നതുകൊണ്ടു എന്നെ വിടുവിച്ചു.

20 Jehovah hath rewarded me according to my righteousness; according to the cleanness of my hands hath he recompensed me.യഹോവ എന്റെ നീതിക്കു തക്കവണ്ണം എനിക്കു പ്രതിഫലം നല്കി; എന്റെ കൈകളുടെ വെടിപ്പിന്നൊത്തവണ്ണം എനിക്കു പകരം തന്നു.

21 For I have kept the ways of Jehovah, and have not wickedly departed from my God.ഞാൻ യഹോവയുടെ വഴികളെ പ്രമാണിച്ചു; എന്റെ ദൈവത്തോടു ദ്രോഹം ചെയ്തതുമില്ല.

22 For all his ordinances were before me, and I did not put away his statutes from me;അവന്റെ വിധികൾ ഒക്കെയും എന്റെ മുമ്പിൽ ഉണ്ടു; അവന്റെ ചട്ടങ്ങളെ ഞാൻ വിട്ടുനടന്നിട്ടുമില്ല.

23 And I was upright with him, and kept myself from mine iniquity.ഞാൻ അവന്റെ മുമ്പാകെ നിഷ്കളങ്കനായിരുന്നു; അകൃത്യം ചെയ്യാതെ എന്നെത്തന്നേ കാത്തു.

24 And Jehovah hath recompensed me according to my righteousness, according to the cleanness of my hands in his sight.യഹോവ എന്റെ നീതിപ്രകാരവും അവന്റെ കാഴ്ചയിൽ എന്റെ കൈകൾക്കുള്ള വെടിപ്പിൻ പ്രകാരവും എനിക്കു പകരം നല്കി.

25 With the gracious thou dost shew thyself gracious; with the upright man thou dost shew thyself upright;ദയാലുവോടു നീ ദയാലു ആകുന്നു; നഷ്കളങ്കനോടു നീ നിഷ്കളങ്കൻ;

26 With the pure thou dost shew thyself pure; and with the perverse thou dost shew thyself contrary.നിർമ്മലനോടു നീ നിർമ്മലനാകുന്നു; വക്രനോടു നീ വക്രത കാണിക്കുന്നു.

27 For it is thou that savest the afflicted people; but the haughty eyes wilt thou bring down.എളിയജനത്തെ നീ രക്ഷിക്കും; നിഗളിച്ചു നടക്കുന്നവരെ നീ താഴ്ത്തും.

28 For it is thou that makest my lamp to shine: Jehovah my God enlighteneth my darkness.നീ എന്റെ ദീപത്തെ കത്തിക്കും; എന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ എന്റെ അന്ധകാരത്തെ പ്രകാശമാക്കും.

29 For by thee I have run through a troop; and by my God have I leaped over a wall.നിന്നാൽ ഞാൻ പടക്കൂട്ടത്തിന്റെ നേരെ പാഞ്ഞുചെല്ലും; എന്റെ ദൈവത്താൽ ഞാൻ മതിൽ ചാടിക്കടക്കും.

30 As for ùGod, his way is perfect; the word of Jehovah is tried: he is a shield to all that trust in him.ദൈവത്തിന്റെ വഴി തികവുള്ളതു; യഹോവയുടെ വചനം ഊതിക്കഴിച്ചതു; തന്നെ ശരണമാക്കുന്ന ഏവർക്കും അവൻ പരിചയാകുന്നു.

31 For who is +God save Jehovah? and who is a rock if not our God?യഹോവയല്ലാതെ ദൈവം ആരുള്ളു? നമ്മുടെ ദൈവം ഒഴികെ പാറയാരുള്ളു?

32 The ùGod who girdeth me with strength, and maketh my way perfect,എന്നെ ശക്തികൊണ്ടു അരമുറുക്കുകയും എന്റെ വഴി കുറവുതീർക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുന്ന ദൈവം തന്നേ.

33 Who maketh my feet like hinds' [feet], and setteth me upon my high places;അവൻ എന്റെ കാലുകളെ മാൻ പേടക്കാല്ക്കു തുല്യമാക്കി, എന്റെ ഗിരികളിൽ എന്നെ നില്ക്കുമാറാക്കുന്നു.

34 Who teacheth my hands to war, and mine arms bend a bow of brass;അവൻ എന്റെ കൈകൾക്കു യുദ്ധാഭ്യാസം വരുത്തുന്നു; എന്റെ ഭുജങ്ങൾ താമ്രചാപം കുലെക്കുന്നു.

35 And thou didst give me the shield of thy salvation, and thy right hand held me up; and thy condescending gentleness hath made me great.നിന്റെ രക്ഷ എന്ന പരിചയെ നീ എനിക്കു തന്നിരിക്കുന്നു; നിന്റെ വലങ്കൈ എന്നെ താങ്ങി നിന്റെ സൌമ്യത എന്നെ വലിയവനാക്കിയിരിക്കുന്നു.

36 Thou didst enlarge my steps under me, and mine ankles have not wavered.ഞാൻ കാലടി വെക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു നീ വിശാലതവരുത്തി; എന്റെ നരിയാണികൾ വഴുതിപ്പോയതുമില്ല.

37 I pursued mine enemies, and overtook them; and I turned not again till they were consumed.ഞാൻ എന്റെ ശത്രുക്കളെ പിന്തുടർന്നു പിടിച്ചു; അവരെ മുടിക്കുവോളം ഞാൻ പിന്തിരിഞ്ഞില്ല.

38 I crushed them, and they were not able to rise: they fell under my feet.അവർക്കു എഴുന്നേറ്റുകൂടാതവണ്ണം ഞാൻ അവരെ തകർത്തു; അവർ എന്റെ കാൽകീഴിൽ വീണിരിക്കുന്നു.

39 And thou girdedst me with strength to battle; thou didst subdue under me those that rose up against me.യുദ്ധത്തിന്നായി നീ എന്റെ അരെക്കു ശക്തി കെട്ടിയിരിക്കുന്നു; എന്നോടു എതിർത്തവരെ എനിക്കു കീഴടക്കിയിരിക്കുന്നു.

40 And mine enemies didst thou make to turn their backs unto me, and those that hated me I destroyed.എന്നെ പകെക്കുന്നവരെ ഞാൻ സംഹരിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു നീ എന്റെ ശത്രുക്കളെ എനിക്കു പുറംകാട്ടുമാറാക്കി.

41 They cried, and there was none to save; -- unto Jehovah, and he answered them not.അവർ നിലവിളിച്ചു; രക്ഷിപ്പാൻ ആരുമുണ്ടായിരുന്നില്ല; യഹോവയോടു നിലവിളിച്ചു; അവൻ ഉത്തരമരുളിയതുമില്ല.

42 And I did beat them small as dust before the wind; I did cast them out as the mire of the streets.ഞാൻ അവരെ കാറ്റത്തെ പൊടിപോലെ പൊടിച്ചു; വീഥികളിലെ ചെളിയെപ്പോലെ ഞാൻ അവരെ കോരിക്കളഞ്ഞു.

43 Thou hast delivered me from the strivings of the people; thou hast made me the head of the nations: a people I knew not doth serve me.ജനത്തിന്റെ കലഹങ്ങളിൽനിന്നു നീ എന്നെ വിടുവിച്ചു; ജാതികൾക്കു എന്നെ തലവനാക്കിയിരിക്കുന്നു; ഞാൻ അറിയാത്ത ജനം എന്നെ സേവിക്കുന്നു.

44 At the hearing of the ear, they obey me: strangers come cringing unto me.അവർ കേൾക്കുമ്പോൾ തന്നേ എന്നെ അനുസരിക്കും; അന്യജാതിക്കാർ എന്നോടു അനുസരണഭാവം കാണിക്കും.

45 Strangers have faded away, and they come trembling forth from their close places.അന്യജാതിക്കാർ ക്ഷയിച്ചുപോകുന്നു; തങ്ങളുടെ ദുർഗ്ഗങ്ങളിൽനിന്നു അവർ വിറെച്ചും കൊണ്ടു വരുന്നു.

46 Jehovah liveth; and blessed be my rock; and exalted be the God of my salvation,യഹോവ ജീവിക്കുന്നു; എന്റെ പാറ വാഴ്ത്തപ്പെട്ടവൻ; എന്റെ രക്ഷയുടെ ദൈവം ഉന്നതൻ തന്നേ.

47 The ùGod who hath avenged me, and hath subjected the peoples to me;ദൈവം എനിക്കു വേണ്ടി പ്രതികാരം ചെയ്കയും ജാതികളെ എനിക്കു കീഴാക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നു.

48 Who hath delivered me from mine enemies: yea, thou hast lifted me up above them that rose up against me; from the man of violence hast thou delivered me.അവൻ ശത്രുവശത്തുനിന്നു എന്നെ വിടുവിക്കുന്നു; എന്നോടു എതിർക്കുന്നവർക്കു മീതെ നീ എന്നെ ഉയർത്തുന്നു; സാഹസക്കാരന്റെ കയ്യിൽ നിന്നു നീ എന്നെ വിടുവിക്കുന്നു.

49 Therefore will I give thanks to thee, Jehovah, among the nations, and will sing psalms to thy name.അതുകൊണ്ടു യഹോവേ, ഞാൻ ജാതികളുടെ മദ്ധ്യേ നിനക്കു സ്തോത്രം ചെയ്യും; നിന്റെ നാമത്തെ ഞാൻ കീർത്തിക്കും.

50 [It is he] who giveth great deliverances to his king, and sheweth loving-kindness to his anointed, to David, and to his seed for evermore.അവൻ തന്റെ രാജാവിന്നു മഹാരക്ഷ നല്കുന്നു; തന്റെ അഭിഷിക്തന്നു ദയ കാണിക്കുന്നു; ദാവീദിന്നും അവന്റെ സന്തതിക്കും എന്നേക്കും തന്നേ.
