Psalm 124 - BBE (Malayalam)

1 <A Song of the going up. Of David.> If it had not been the Lord who was on our side (let Israel now say);യിസ്രായേൽ പറയേണ്ടതെന്തെന്നാൽ യഹോവ നമ്മുടെ പക്ഷത്തില്ലായിരുന്നുവെങ്കിൽ

2 If it had not been the Lord who was on our side, when men came up against us;മനുഷ്യർ നമ്മോടു എതിർത്തപ്പോൾ, യഹോവ നമ്മുടെ പക്ഷത്തില്ലായിരുന്നുവെങ്കിൽ,

3 They would have made a meal of us while still living, in the heat of their wrath against us:അവരുടെ കോപം നമ്മുടെനേരെ ജ്വലിച്ചപ്പോൾ, അവർ നമ്മെ ജീവനോടെ വിഴുങ്ങിക്കളയുമായിരുന്നു;

4 We would have been covered by the waters; the streams would have gone over our soul;വെള്ളം നമ്മെ ഒഴുക്കിക്കളയുമായിരുന്നു, നദി നമ്മുടെ പ്രാണന്നു മീതെ കവിയുമായിരുന്നു;

5 Yes, the waters of pride would have gone over our soul.പൊങ്ങിയിരുന്ന വെള്ളം നമ്മുടെ പ്രാണന്നു മീതെ കവിയുമായിരുന്നു.

6 Praise be to the Lord, who has not let us be wounded by their teeth.നമ്മെ അവരുടെ പല്ലിന്നു ഇരയായി കൊടുക്കായ്കയാൽ യഹോവ വാഴ്ത്തപ്പെടുമാറാകട്ടെ.

7 Our soul has gone free like a bird out of the net of those who would take her: the net is broken, and we are free.വേട്ടക്കാരുടെ കണിയിൽനിന്നു പക്ഷിയെന്നപോലെ നമ്മുടെ പ്രാണൻ വഴുതിപ്പോന്നിരിക്കുന്നു; കണി പൊട്ടി നാം വഴുതിപ്പോന്നിരിക്കുന്നു.

8 Our help is in the name of the Lord, the maker of heaven and earth.നമ്മുടെ സഹായം ആകാശത്തെയും ഭൂമിയെയും ഉണ്ടാക്കിയ യഹോവയുടെ നാമത്തിൽ ഇരിക്കുന്നു.
