Psalm 106 - DBY (Malayalam)

1 Hallelujah! Give ye thanks unto Jehovah; for he is good; for his loving-kindness [endureth] for ever.യഹോവയെ സ്തുതിപ്പിൻ; യഹോവെക്കു സ്തോത്രം ചെയ്‍വിൻ; അവൻ നല്ലവനല്ലോ; അവന്റെ ദയ എന്നേക്കും ഉള്ളതു.

2 Who can utter the mighty acts of Jehovah? [who] can shew forth all his praise?യഹോവയുടെ വീര്യപ്രവൃത്തികളെ ആർ വർണ്ണിക്കും? അവന്റെ സ്തുതിയെ ഒക്കെയും ആർ വിവരിക്കും?

3 Blessed are they that keep justice, [and] he that doeth righteousness at all times.ന്യായത്തെ പ്രമാണിക്കുന്നവരും എല്ലായ്പോഴും നീതി പ്രവർത്തിക്കുന്നവനും ഭാഗ്യവാന്മാർ.

4 Remember me, O Jehovah, with [thy] favour toward thy people; visit me with thy salvation:യഹോവേ, നീ തിരഞ്ഞെടുത്തവരുടെ നന്മ ഞാൻ കാണേണ്ടതിന്നും നിന്റെ ജനത്തിന്റെ സന്തോഷത്തിൽ സന്തോഷിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നും നിന്റെ അവകാശത്തോടുകൂടെ പുകഴേണ്ടതിന്നും

5 That I may see the prosperity of thy chosen ones, that I may rejoice in the joy of thy nation, that I may glory with thine inheritance.നിന്റെ ജനത്തോടുള്ള കടാക്ഷപ്രകാരം എന്നെ ഓർത്തു, നിന്റെ രക്ഷകൊണ്ടു എന്നെ സന്ദർശിക്കേണമേ.

6 We have sinned with our fathers, we have committed iniquity, we have done wickedly.ഞങ്ങൾ ഞങ്ങളുടെ പിതാക്കന്മാരെപ്പോലെ പാപം ചെയ്തു; ഞങ്ങൾ അകൃത്യവും ദുഷ്ടതയും പ്രവർത്തിച്ചു.

7 Our fathers in Egypt considered not thy wondrous works; they remembered not the multitude of thy loving-kindnesses; but they rebelled at the sea, at the Red Sea.ഞങ്ങളുടെ പിതാക്കന്മാർ മിസ്രയീമിൽവെച്ചു നിന്റെ അത്ഭുതങ്ങളെ ഗ്രഹിക്കാതെയും നിന്റെ മഹാദയയെ ഓർക്കാതെയും കടൽക്കരയിൽ, ചെങ്കടൽക്കരയിൽവെച്ചു തന്നേ മത്സരിച്ചു.

8 Yet he saved them for his name's sake, that he might make known his might.എന്നിട്ടും അവൻ തന്റെ മഹാശക്തി വെളിപ്പെടുത്തേണ്ടതിന്നു തന്റെ നാമംനിമിത്തം അവരെ രക്ഷിച്ചു.

9 And he rebuked the Red Sea, and it dried up; and he led them through the deeps as through a wilderness.അവൻ ചെങ്കടലിനെ ശാസിച്ചു, അതു ഉണങ്ങിപ്പോയി; അവൻ അവരെ മരുഭൂമിയിൽകൂടി എന്നപോലെ ആഴിയിൽകൂടി നടത്തി.

10 And he saved them from the hand of him that hated [them], and redeemed them from the hand of the enemy.അവൻ പകയന്റെ കയ്യിൽനിന്നു അവരെ രക്ഷിച്ചു; ശത്രുവിന്റെ കയ്യിൽനിന്നു അവരെ വീണ്ടെടുത്തു.

11 And the waters covered their oppressors: there was not one of them left.വെള്ളം അവരുടെ വൈരികളെ മൂടിക്കളഞ്ഞു; അവരിൽ ഒരുത്തനും ശേഷിച്ചില്ല.

12 Then believed they his words; they sang his praise.അവർ അവന്റെ വചനങ്ങളെ വിശ്വസിച്ചു; അവന്നു സ്തുതിപാടുകയും ചെയ്തു.

13 They soon forgot his works; they waited not for his counsel:എങ്കിലും അവർ വേഗത്തിൽ അവന്റെ പ്രവൃത്തികളെ മറന്നു; അവന്റെ ആലോചനെക്കു കാത്തിരുന്നതുമില്ല.

14 And they lusted exceedingly in the wilderness, and tempted ùGod in the desert.മരുഭൂമിയിൽവെച്ചു അവർ ഏറ്റവും മോഹിച്ചു; നിർജ്ജനപ്രദേശത്തു അവർ ദൈവത്തെ പരീക്ഷിച്ചു.

15 Then he gave them their request, but sent leanness into their soul.അവർ അപേക്ഷിച്ചതു അവൻ അവർക്കുകൊടുത്തു; എങ്കിലും അവരുടെ പ്രാണന്നു ക്ഷയം അയച്ചു.

16 And they envied Moses in the camp, [and] Aaron, the saint of Jehovah.പാളയത്തിൽവെച്ചു അവർ മോശെയോടും യഹോവയുടെ വിശുദ്ധനായ അഹരോനോടും അസൂയപ്പെട്ടു.

17 The earth opened and swallowed up Dathan, and covered the company of Abiram;ഭൂമി പിളർന്നു ദാഥാനെ വിഴുങ്ങി; അബീരാമിന്റെ കൂട്ടത്തെയും മൂടിക്കളഞ്ഞു.

18 And fire was kindled in their company; a flame burned up the wicked.അവരുടെ കൂട്ടത്തിൽ തീ കത്തി; അഗ്നിജ്വാല ദുഷ്ടന്മാരെ ദഹിപ്പിച്ചുകളഞ്ഞു.

19 They made a calf in Horeb, and did homage to a molten image;അവർ ഹോരേബിൽവെച്ചു ഒരു കാളക്കുട്ടിയെ ഉണ്ടാക്കി; വാർത്തുണ്ടാക്കിയ വിഗ്രഹത്തെ നമസ്കരിച്ചു.

20 And they changed their glory into the similitude of an ox that eateth grass.ഇങ്ങനെ അവർ തങ്ങളുടെ മഹത്വമായവനെ പുല്ലു തിന്നുന്ന കാളയോടു സദ്രശനാക്കി തീർത്തു.

21 They forgot ùGod their Saviour, who had done great things in Egypt,മിസ്രയീമിൽ വലിയ കാര്യങ്ങളും ഹാമിന്റെ ദേശത്തു അത്ഭുതപ്രവൃത്തികളും

22 Wondrous works in the land of Ham, terrible things by the Red Sea.ചെങ്കടലിങ്കൽ ഭയങ്കരകാര്യങ്ങളും ചെയ്തവനായി തങ്ങളുടെ രക്ഷിതാവായ ദൈവത്തെ അവർ മറന്നുകളഞ്ഞു.

23 And he said that he would destroy them, had not Moses, his chosen, stood before him in the breach, to turn away his fury, lest he should destroy [them].ആകയാൽ അവരെ നശിപ്പിക്കുമെന്നു അവൻ അരുളിച്ചെയ്തു; അവന്റെ വൃതനായ മോശെ കോപത്തെ ശമിപ്പിപ്പാൻ അവന്റെ സന്നിധിയിൽ പിളർപ്പിൽ നിന്നില്ലെങ്കിൽ അവൻ അവരെ നശിപ്പിച്ചുകളയുമായിരുന്നു.

24 And they despised the pleasant land; they believed not his word,അവർ മനോഹരദേശത്തെ നിരസിച്ചു; അവന്റെ വചനത്തെ വിശ്വസിച്ചതുമില്ല.

25 But murmured in their tents: they hearkened not unto the voice of Jehovah.അവർ തങ്ങളുടെ കൂടാരങ്ങളിൽവെച്ചു പിറുപിറുത്തു; യഹോവയുടെ വചനം കേൾക്കാതെയിരുന്നു.

26 And he lifted up his hand to them, that he would make them fall in the wilderness;അതുകൊണ്ടു അവൻ: മരുഭൂമിയിൽ അവരെ വീഴിക്കുമെന്നും അവരുടെ സന്തതിയെ ജാതികളുടെ ഇടയിൽ നശിപ്പിക്കുമെന്നും

27 And that he would make their seed fall among the nations, and disperse them through the countries.അവരെ ദേശങ്ങളിൽ ചിതറിച്ചുകളയുമെന്നും അവർക്കു വിരോധമായി തന്റെ കൈ ഉയർത്തി സത്യംചെയ്തു.

28 And they joined themselves unto Baal-Peor, and ate the sacrifices of the dead;അനന്തരം അവർ ബാൽപെയോരിനോടു ചേർന്നു; പ്രേതങ്ങൾക്കുള്ള ബലികളെ തിന്നു.

29 And they provoked [him] to anger with their doings; and a plague broke out among them.ഇങ്ങനെ അവർ തങ്ങളുടെ ക്രിയകളാൽ അവനെ കോപിപ്പിച്ചു; പെട്ടെന്നു ഒരു ബാധ അവർക്കു തട്ടി.

30 Then stood up Phinehas and executed judgment, and the plague was stayed;അപ്പോൾ ഫീനെഹാസ് എഴുന്നേറ്റു ശിക്ഷ നടത്തി; ബാധ നിർത്തലാകയും ചെയ്തു.

31 And that was reckoned unto him for righteousness, from generation to generation, for evermore.അതു എന്നേക്കും തലമുറതലമുറയായി അവന്നു നീതിയായിഎണ്ണിയിരിക്കുന്നു.

32 And they moved him to wrath at the waters of Meribah, and it went ill with Moses on their account;മെരീബാവെള്ളത്തിങ്കലും അവർ അവനെ കോപിപ്പിച്ചു; അവരുടെനിമിത്തം മോശെക്കും ദോഷം ഭവിച്ചു.

33 For they provoked his spirit, so that he spoke unadvisedly with his lips.അവർ അവന്റെ മനസ്സിനെ കോപിപ്പിച്ചതുകൊണ്ടു അവൻ അധരങ്ങളാൽ അവിവേകം സംസാരിച്ചുപോയി.

34 They did not destroy the peoples, as Jehovah commanded them;യഹോവ തങ്ങളോടു നശിപ്പിപ്പാൻ കല്പിച്ചതുപോലെ അവർ ജാതികളെ നശിപ്പിച്ചില്ല.

35 But they mingled with the nations, and learned their works;അവർ ജാതികളോടു ഇടകലർന്നു അവരുടെ പ്രവൃത്തികളെ പഠിച്ചു.

36 And they served their idols; and they were a snare unto them:അവരുടെ വിഗ്രഹങ്ങളെയും സേവിച്ചു; അവ അവർക്കൊരു കണിയായി തീർന്നു.

37 And they sacrificed their sons and their daughters unto demons,തങ്ങളുടെ പുത്രന്മാരെയും പുത്രിമാരെയും അവർ ഭൂതങ്ങൾക്കു ബലികഴിച്ചു.

38 And shed innocent blood, the blood of their sons and of their daughters, whom they sacrificed unto the idols of Canaan; and the land was polluted with blood.അവർ കുറ്റമില്ലാത്ത രക്തം, പുത്രീപുത്രന്മാരുടെ രക്തം തന്നേ ചൊരിഞ്ഞു; അവരെ അവർ കനാന്യവിഗ്രഹങ്ങൾക്കു ബലികഴിച്ചു, ദേശം രക്തപാതകംകൊണ്ടു അശുദ്ധമായ്തീർന്നു.

39 And they were defiled with their works, and went a-whoring in their doings.ഇങ്ങനെ അവർ തങ്ങളുടെ ക്രിയകളാൽ മലിനപ്പെട്ടു, തങ്ങളുടെ കർമ്മങ്ങളാൽ പരസംഗം ചെയ്തു.

40 Then was the anger of Jehovah kindled against his people, and he abhorred his inheritance;അതുകൊണ്ടു യഹോവയുടെ കോപം തന്റെ ജനത്തിന്റെ നേരെ ജ്വലിച്ചു; അവൻ തന്റെ അവകാശത്തെ വെറുത്തു.

41 And he gave them into the hand of the nations; and they that hated them ruled over them:അവൻ അവരെ ജാതികളുടെ കയ്യിൽ ഏല്പിച്ചു; അവരെ പകെച്ചവർ അവരെ ഭരിച്ചു.

42 And their enemies oppressed them, and they were brought into subjection under their hand.അവരുടെ ശത്രുക്കൾ അവരെ ഞെരുക്കി; അവർ അവർക്കു കീഴടങ്ങേണ്ടിവന്നു.

43 Often did he deliver them; but as for them they provoked [him] by their counsel, and they were brought low by their iniquity.പലപ്പോഴും അവൻ അവരെ വിടുവിച്ചു; എങ്കിലും അവർ തങ്ങളുടെ ആലോചനയാൽ അവനോടു മത്സരിച്ചു; തങ്ങളുടെ അകൃത്യംനിമിത്തം അധോഗതിപ്രാപിച്ചു.

44 But he regarded their distress, when he heard their cry;എന്നാൽ അവരുടെ നിലവിളി കേട്ടപ്പോൾ അവൻ അവരുടെ കഷ്ടതയെ കടാക്ഷിച്ചു.

45 And he remembered for them his covenant, and repented according to the multitude of his loving-kindnesses;അവൻ അവർക്കായി തന്റെ നിയമത്തെ ഓർത്തു; തന്റെ മഹാദയപ്രകാരം അനുതപിച്ചു.

46 And he caused them to find compassion of all those that had carried them captives.അവരെ ബദ്ധരാക്കി കൊണ്ടുപോയവർക്കെല്ലാം അവരോടു കനിവു തോന്നുമാറാക്കി.

47 Save us, Jehovah our God, and gather us from among the nations, to give thanks unto thy holy name, [and] to triumph in thy praise.ഞങ്ങളുടെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവേ, ഞങ്ങളെ രക്ഷിക്കേണമേ; നിന്റെ വിശുദ്ധനാമത്തിന്നു സ്തോത്രം ചെയ്‍വാനും നിന്റെ സ്തുതിയിൽ പ്രശംസിപ്പാനും ജാതികളുടെ ഇടയിൽനിന്നു ഞങ്ങളെ ശേഖരിക്കേണമേ.

48 Blessed be Jehovah the God of Israel, from eternity and to eternity! And let all the people say, Amen! Hallelujah!യിസ്രായേലിന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ എന്നും എന്നേക്കും വാഴ്ത്തപ്പെടുമാറാകട്ടെ; ജനമെല്ലാം ആമേൻ എന്നു പറയട്ടെ. യഹോവയെ സ്തുതിപ്പിൻ.
