Proverbs 5 - BBE (Malayalam)

1 My son, give attention to my wisdom; let your ear be turned to my teaching:മകനേ, വകതിരിവിനെ കാത്തുകൊള്ളേണ്ടതിന്നും നിന്റെ അധരങ്ങൾ പരിജ്ഞാനത്തെ പാലിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നും

2 So that you may be ruled by a wise purpose, and your lips may keep knowledge.ജ്ഞാനത്തെ ശ്രദ്ധിച്ചു എന്റെ ബോധത്തിന്നു ചെവി ചായിക്ക.

3 For honey is dropping from the lips of the strange woman, and her mouth is smoother than oil;പരസ്ത്രീയുടെ അധരങ്ങളിൽനിന്നു തേൻ ഇറ്റിറ്റു വീഴുന്നു; അവളുടെ അണ്ണാക്കു എണ്ണയെക്കാൾ മൃദുവാകുന്നു.

4 But her end is bitter as wormwood, and sharp as a two-edged sword;പിന്നത്തേതിലോ അവൾ കാഞ്ഞിരംപോലെ കൈപ്പും ഇരുവായ്ത്തലവാൾപോലെ മൂർച്ചയും ഉള്ളവൾ തന്നേ.

5 Her feet go down to death, and her steps to the underworld;അവളുടെ കാലുകൾ മരണത്തിലേക്കു ഇറങ്ങിച്ചെല്ലുന്നു; അവളുടെ കാലടികൾ പാതാളത്തിലേക്കു ഓടുന്നു.

6 She never keeps her mind on the road of life; her ways are uncertain, she has no knowledge.ജീവന്റെ മാർഗ്ഗത്തിൽ അവൾ ചെല്ലാതവണ്ണം അവളുടെ പാതകൾ അസ്ഥിരമായിരിക്കുന്നു; അവൾ അറിയുന്നതുമില്ല.

7 Give ear to me then, my sons, and do not put away my words from you.ആകയാൽ മക്കളേ, എന്റെ വാക്കു കേൾപ്പിൻ; എന്റെ വായിലെ മൊഴികളെ വിട്ടുമാറരുതു.

8 Go far away from her, do not come near the door of her house;നിന്റെ വഴിയെ അവളോടു അകറ്റുക; അവളുടെ വീട്ടിന്റെ വാതിലോടു അടുക്കരുതു.

9 For fear that you may give your honour to others, and your wealth to strange men:നിന്റെ യൌവനശക്തി അന്യന്മാർക്കും നിന്റെ ആണ്ടുകൾ ക്രൂരന്നും കൊടുക്കരുതു.

10 And strange men may be full of your wealth, and the fruit of your work go to the house of others;കണ്ടവർ നിന്റെ സമ്പത്തു തിന്നുകളയരുതു. നിന്റെ പ്രയത്നഫലം വല്ലവന്റെയും വീട്ടിൽ ആയ്പോകരുതു.

11 And you will be full of grief at the end of your life, when your flesh and your body are wasted;നിന്റെ മാംസവും ദേഹവും ക്ഷയിച്ചിട്ടു നീ ഒടുവിൽ നെടുവീർപ്പിട്ടുകൊണ്ടു:

12 And you will say, How was teaching hated by me, and my heart put no value on training;അയ്യോ! ഞാൻ പ്രബോധനം വെറുക്കയും എന്റെ ഹൃദയം ശാസനയെ നിരസിക്കയും ചെയ്തുവല്ലോ.

13 I did not give attention to the voice of my teachers, my ear was not turned to those who were guiding me!എന്റെ ഉപദേഷ്ടാക്കന്മാരുടെ വാക്കു ഞാൻ അനുസരിച്ചില്ല; എന്നെ പ്രബോധിപ്പിച്ചവർക്കു ഞാൻ ചെവികൊടുത്തില്ല.

14 I was in almost all evil in the company of the people.സഭയുടെയും സംഘത്തിന്റെയും മദ്ധ്യേ ഞാൻ ഏകദേശം സകലദോഷത്തിലും അകപ്പെട്ടുപോയല്ലോ എന്നിങ്ങനെ പറവാൻ സംഗതിവരരുതു.

15 Let water from your store and not that of others be your drink, and running water from your fountain.നിന്റെ സ്വന്തജലാശയത്തിലെ തണ്ണീരും സ്വന്തകിണറ്റിൽനിന്നു ഒഴുകുന്ന വെള്ളവും കുടിക്ക.

16 Let not your springs be flowing in the streets, or your streams of water in the open places.നിന്റെ ഉറവുകൾ വെളിയിലേക്കും നിന്റെ നീരൊഴുക്കുകൾ വീഥിയിലേക്കും ഒഴുകിപ്പോകേണമോ?

17 Let them be for yourself only, not for other men with you.അവ നിനക്കും അന്യന്മാർക്കും കൂടെയല്ല നിനക്കു മാത്രമേ ഇരിക്കാവു.

18 Let blessing be on your fountain; have joy in the wife of your early years.നിന്റെ ഉറവു അനുഗ്രഹിക്കപ്പെട്ടിരിക്കട്ടെ; നിന്റെ യൌവനത്തിലെ ഭാര്യയിൽ സന്തോഷിച്ചുകൊൾക.

19 As a loving hind and a gentle doe, let her breasts ever give you rapture; let your passion at all times be moved by her love.കൌതുകമുള്ള പേടമാനും മനോഹരമായ ഇളമാൻ പേടയും പോലെ അവളുടെ സ്തനങ്ങൾ എല്ലാകാലത്തും നിന്നെ രമിപ്പിക്കട്ടെ; അവളുടെ പ്രേമത്താൽ നീ എല്ലായ്പോഴും മത്തനായിരിക്ക.

20 Why let yourself, my son, go out of the way with a strange woman, and take another woman in your arms?മകനേ, നീ പരസ്ത്രീയെ കണ്ടു ഭ്രമിക്കുന്നതും അന്യസ്ത്രീയുടെ മാറിടം തഴുകുന്നതും എന്തു?

21 For a man's ways are before the eyes of the Lord, and he puts all his goings in the scales.മനുഷ്യന്റെ വഴികൾ യഹോവയുടെ ദൃഷ്ടിയിൽ ഇരിക്കുന്നു; അവന്റെ നടപ്പു ഒക്കെയും അവൻ തൂക്കിനോക്കുന്നു.

22 The evil-doer will be taken in the net of his crimes, and prisoned in the cords of his sin.ദുഷ്ടന്റെ അകൃത്യങ്ങൾ അവനെ പിടിക്കും; തന്റെ പാപപാശങ്ങളാൽ അവൻ പിടിപെടും.

23 He will come to his end for need of teaching; he is so foolish that he will go wandering from the right way.പ്രബോധനം കേൾക്കായ്കയാൽ അവൻ മരിക്കും; മഹാഭോഷത്വത്താൽ അവൻ വഴിതെറ്റിപ്പോകും.
