Proverbs 24 - BBE (Malayalam)

1 Have no envy for evil men, or any desire to be with them:ദുഷ്ടന്മാരോടു അസൂയപ്പെടരുതു; അവരോടുകൂടെ ഇരിപ്പാൻ ആഗ്രഹിക്കയുമരുതു.

2 For the purposes of their hearts are destruction, and their lips are talking of trouble.അവരുടെ ഹൃദയം സാഹസം ചിന്തിക്കുന്നു; അവരുടെ അധരം വേണ്ടാതനം പറയുന്നു.

3 The building of a house is by wisdom, and by reason it is made strong:ജ്ഞാനംകൊണ്ടു ഭവനം പണിയുന്നു; വിവേകംകൊണ്ടു അതു സ്ഥിരമായിവരുന്നു.

4 And by knowledge its rooms are full of all dear and pleasing things.പരിജ്ഞാനംകൊണ്ടു അതിന്റെ മുറികളിൽ വലിയേറിയതും മനോഹരവുമായ സകല സമ്പത്തും നിറഞ്ഞുവരുന്നു.

5 A wise man is strong; and a man of knowledge makes strength greater.ജ്ഞാനിയായ പുരുഷൻ ബലവാനാകുന്നു; പരിജ്ഞാനമുള്ളവൻ ബലം വർദ്ധിപ്പിക്കുന്നു.

6 For by wise guiding you will overcome in war: and in a number of wise guides there is salvation.ഭരണസാമർത്ഥ്യത്തോടെ നീ യുദ്ധം നടത്തി ജയിക്കും; മന്ത്രിമാരുടെ ബഹുത്വത്തിൽ രക്ഷയുണ്ടു.

7 Wisdom is outside the power of the foolish: he keeps his mouth shut in the public place.ജ്ഞാനം ഭോഷന്നു അത്യുന്നതമായിരിക്കുന്നു; അവൻ പട്ടണവാതിൽക്കൽ വായ് തുറക്കുന്നില്ല.

8 He whose purposes are bad will be named a man of evil designs.ദോഷം ചെയ്‍വാൻ നിരൂപിക്കുന്നവനെ ദുഷ്കർമ്മി എന്നു പറഞ്ഞുവരുന്നു;

9 The purpose of the foolish is sin: and the hater of authority is disgusting to others.ഭോഷന്റെ നിരൂപണം പാപം തന്നേ; പരിഹാസി മനുഷ്യർക്കു വെറുപ്പാകുന്നു.

10 If you give way in the day of trouble, your strength is small.കഷ്ടകാലത്തു നീ കുഴഞ്ഞുപോയാൽ നിന്റെ ബലം നഷ്ടം തന്നേ.

11 Be the saviour of those who are given up to death, and do not keep back help from those who are slipping to destruction.മരണത്തിന്നു കൊണ്ടുപോകുന്നവരെ വിടുവിക്ക; കുലെക്കായി വിറെച്ചു ചെല്ലുന്നവരെ രക്ഷിപ്പാൻ നോക്കുക.

12 If you say, See, we had no knowledge of this: does not the tester of hearts give thought to it? and he who keeps your soul, has he no knowledge of it? and will he not give to every man the reward of his work?ഞങ്ങൾ അറിഞ്ഞില്ലല്ലോ എന്നു നീ പറഞ്ഞാൽ ഹൃദയങ്ങളെ തൂക്കിനോക്കുന്നവൻ ഗ്രഹിക്കയില്ലയോ? നിന്റെ പ്രാണനെ കാക്കുന്നവൻ അറികയില്ലയോ? അവൻ മനുഷ്യന്നു പ്രവൃത്തിക്കു തക്കവണ്ണം പകരം കൊടുക്കയില്ലയോ?

13 My son, take honey, for it is good; and the flowing honey, which is sweet to your taste:മകനേ, തേൻ തിന്നുക; അതു നല്ലതല്ലോ; തേങ്കട്ട നിന്റെ അണ്ണാക്കിന്നു മധുരമത്രേ.

14 So let your desire be for wisdom: if you have it, there will be a future, and your hope will not be cut off.ജ്ഞാനവും നിന്റെ ഹൃദയത്തിന്നു അങ്ങനെ തന്നേ എന്നറിക; നീ അതു പ്രാപിച്ചാൽ പ്രതിഫലം ഉണ്ടാകും; നിന്റെ പ്രത്യാശെക്കു ഭംഗം വരികയുമില്ല.

15 Do not keep a secret watch, O evil-doer, against the fields of the upright man, or send destruction on his resting-place:ദുഷ്ടാ, നീ നീതിമാന്റെ പാർപ്പിടത്തിന്നു പതിയിരിക്കരുതു; അവന്റെ വിശ്രാമസ്ഥലത്തെ നശിപ്പിക്കയുമരുതു.

16 For an upright man, after falling seven times, will get up again: but trouble is the downfall of the evil.നീതിമാൻ ഏഴുപ്രാവശ്യം വീണാലും എഴുന്നേല്ക്കും; ദുഷ്ടന്മാരോ അനർത്ഥത്തിൽ നശിച്ചുപോകും.

17 Do not be glad at the fall of your hater, and let not your heart have joy at his downfall:നിന്റെ ശത്രു വീഴുമ്പോൾ സന്തോഷിക്കരുതു; അവൻ ഇടറുമ്പോൾ നിന്റെ ഹൃദയം ആനന്ദിക്കരുതു.

18 For fear that the Lord may see it, and it may be evil in his eyes, and his wrath may be turned away from him.യഹോവ കണ്ടിട്ടു അവന്നു ഇഷ്ടക്കേടാകുവാനും തന്റെ കോപം അവങ്കൽനിന്നു മാറ്റിക്കളവാനും മതി.

19 Do not be troubled because of evil-doers, or have envy of sinners:ദുഷ്‌പ്രവൃത്തിക്കാർ നിമിത്തം മുഷിയരുതു; ദുഷ്ടന്മാരോടു അസൂയപ്പെടുകയും അരുതു.

20 For there will be no future for the evil man; the light of sinners will be put out.ദോഷിക്കു പ്രതിഫലമുണ്ടാകയില്ല; ദുഷ്ടന്റെ വിളക്കു കെട്ടുപോകും.

21 My son, go in fear of the Lord and the king: have nothing to do with those who are in high positions:മകനേ, യഹോവയെയും രാജാവിനെയും ഭയപ്പെടുക; മത്സരികളോടു ഇടപെടരുതു.

22 For their downfall will come suddenly; and who has knowledge of the destruction of those in high positions?അവരുടെ ആപത്തു പെട്ടെന്നു വരും; രണ്ടു കൂട്ടർക്കും വരുന്ന നാശം ആരറിയുന്നു?

23 These are more sayings of the wise: To have respect for a person's position when judging is not good.ഇവയും ജ്ഞാനികളുടെ വാക്യങ്ങൾ. ന്യായവിസ്താരത്തിൽ മുഖദാക്ഷിണ്യം നന്നല്ല.

24 He who says to the evil-doer, You are upright, will be cursed by peoples and hated by nations.ദുഷ്ടനോടു നീ നീതിമാൻ എന്നു പറയുന്നവനെ ജാതികൾ ശപിക്കയും വംശങ്ങൾ വെറുക്കുകയും ചെയ്യും.

25 But those who say sharp words to him will have delight, and a blessing of good will come on them.അവനെ ശാസിക്കുന്നവർക്കോ നന്മ ഉണ്ടാകും; നല്ലോരനുഗ്രഹം അവരുടെ മേൽ വരും.

26 He gives a kiss with his lips who gives a right answer.നേരുള്ള ഉത്തരം പറയുന്നവൻ അധരങ്ങളെ ചുംബനം ചെയ്യുന്നു.

27 Put your work in order outside, and make it ready in the field; and after that, see to the building of your house.വെളിയിൽ നിന്റെ വേല ചെയ്ക; വയലിൽ എല്ലാം തീർക്കുക; പിന്നെത്തേതിൽ നിന്റെ വീടു പണിയുക.

28 Do not be a violent witness against your neighbour, or let your lips say what is false.കാരണം കൂടാതെ കൂട്ടുകാരന്നു വിരോധമായി സാക്ഷിനിൽക്കരുതു; നിന്റെ അധരംകൊണ്ടു ചതിക്കയും അരുതു.

29 Say not, I will do to him as he has done to me; I will give the man the reward of his work.അവൻ എന്നോടു ചെയ്തതുപോലെ ഞാൻ അവനോടു ചെയ്യുമെന്നും ഞാൻ അവന്നു അവന്റെ പ്രവൃത്തിക്കു പകരം കൊടുക്കും എന്നും നീ പറയരുതു.

30 I went by the field of the hater of work, and by the vine-garden of the man without sense;ഞാൻ മടിയന്റെ കണ്ടത്തിന്നരികെയും ബുദ്ധിഹീനന്റെ മുന്തിരിത്തോട്ടത്തിന്നു സമീപെയും കൂടി പോയി.

31 And it was all full of thorns, and covered with waste plants, and its stone wall was broken down.അവിടെ മുള്ളു പടർന്നുപിടിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നതും തൂവ നിറഞ്ഞു നിലം മൂടിയിരിക്കുന്നതും അതിന്റെ കന്മതിൽ ഇടിഞ്ഞുകിടക്കുന്നതും കണ്ടു.

32 Then looking at it, I gave thought: I saw, and I got teaching from it.ഞാൻ അതു നോക്കി വിചാരിക്കയും അതു കണ്ടു ഉപദേശം പ്രാപിക്കയും ചെയ്തു.

33 A little sleep, a little rest, a little folding of the hands in sleep:കുറെക്കൂടെ ഉറക്കം, കുറെക്കൂടെ നിദ്ര, കുറെക്കൂടെ കൈ കെട്ടി കിടക്ക.

34 So loss will come on you like an outlaw, and your need like an armed man.അങ്ങനെ നിന്റെ ദാരിദ്ര്യം വഴിപോക്കനെപ്പോലെയും നിന്റെ ബുദ്ധിമുട്ടു ആയുധപാണിയെപ്പോലെയും വരും.
