നിന്റെ ദൃഷ്ടി ധനത്തിന്മേൽ പതിക്കുന്നതു എന്തിന്നു? അതു ഇല്ലാതെയായ്പോകുമല്ലോ. കഴുകൻ ആകാശത്തേക്കു എന്നപോലെ അതു ചിറകെടുത്തു പറന്നുകളയും.

Wilt thou set	הֲתָ֤עִוף	ʿûp	oof
thine eyes	עֵינֶ֥יךָ	ʿayin	ah-YEEN
	בּ֗וֹ
upon that which is not?	וְֽאֵ֫ינֶ֥נּוּ	ʾayin	ah-YEEN
for	כִּ֤י	kî	kee
certainly	עָשֹׂ֣ה	ʿāśâ	ah-SA
make	יַעֲשֶׂה	ʿāśâ	ah-SA
	לּ֣וֹ
themselves wings;	כְנָפַ֑יִם	kānāp	ka-NAHF
as an eagle	כְּ֝נֶ֗שֶׁר	nešer	neh-SHER
they fly away	וָע֥יּף	ʿûp	oof
toward heaven.	הַשָּׁמָֽיִם׃	šāmayim	sha-ma-YEEM
