യിസ്രായേൽമക്കൾ വിശുദ്ധമന്ദിരത്തിന്നു അടുത്തു വരുമ്പോൾ അവരുടെ ഇടയിൽ ബാധയുണ്ടാകാതിരിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു സമാഗമനക്കുടാരത്തിൽ യിസ്രായേൽമക്കളുടെ വേല ചെയ്‍വാനും യിസ്രായേൽമക്കൾക്കുവേണ്ടി പ്രായശ്ചിത്തം കഴിപ്പാനും ലേവ്യരെ ഞാൻ യിസ്രായേൽമക്കളുടെ ഇടയിൽനിന്നു അഹരോന്നും പുത്രന്മാർക്കും ദാനം ചെയ്തുമിരിക്കുന്നു.

and to his sons	וּלְבָנָ֗יו	bēn	bane
from among	מִתּוֹךְ֮	tāwek	ta-VEK
the children	בְּנֵ֣י	bēn	bane
of Israel,	יִשְׂרָאֵל֒	yiśrāʾēl	yees-ra-ALE
to do	לַֽעֲבֹ֞ד	ʿābad	ah-VAHD
	אֶת	ʾēt	ate
the service	עֲבֹדַ֤ת	ʿăbōdâ	uh-voh-DA
of the children	בְּנֵֽי	bēn	bane
of Israel	יִשְׂרָאֵל֙	yiśrāʾēl	yees-ra-ALE
in the tabernacle	בְּאֹ֣הֶל	ʾōhel	oh-HEL
of the congregation,	מוֹעֵ֔ד	môʿēd	moh-ADE
and to make an atonement	וּלְכַפֵּ֖ר	kāpar	ka-FAHR
for	עַל	ʿal	al
the children	בְּנֵ֣י	bēn	bane
of Israel:	יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל	yiśrāʾēl	yees-ra-ALE
no	וְלֹ֨א	lōʾ	loh
that there be	יִֽהְיֶ֜ה	hāyâ	ha-YA
among the children	בִּבְנֵ֤י	bēn	bane
of Israel,	יִשְׂרָאֵל֙	yiśrāʾēl	yees-ra-ALE
plague	נֶ֔גֶף	negep	neh-ɡEF
come nigh	בְּגֶ֥שֶׁת	nāgaš	na-ɡAHSH
when the children	בְּנֵֽי	bēn	bane
of Israel	יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל	yiśrāʾēl	yees-ra-ALE
