ഞാൻ യെഹൂദാദേശത്തു അവരുടെ ദേശാധിപതിയായി നിയമിക്കപ്പെട്ട നാൾമുതൽ അർത്ഥഹ് ശഷ്ടാരാജാവിന്റെ ഇരുപതാം ആണ്ടുമുതൽ തന്നേ, അവന്റെ മുപ്പത്തിരണ്ടാം ആണ്ടുവരെ പന്ത്രണ്ടു സംവത്സരം ഞാനും എന്റെ സഹോദരന്മാരും ദേശാധിപതിക്കുള്ള അഹോവൃത്തി വാങ്ങിയില്ല.

Moreover גַּ֞ם gam ɡahm
from the time מִיּ֣וֹם׀ yôm yome
that אֲשֶׁר ʾăšer uh-SHER
I was appointed צִוָּ֣ה ṣāwâ tsa-VA
אֹתִ֗י ʾēt ate
to be לִֽהְי֣וֹת hāyâ ha-YA
their governor פֶּחָם֮ peḥâ peh-HA
in the land בְּאֶ֣רֶץ ʾereṣ eh-RETS
of Judah, יְהוּדָה֒ yĕhûdâ yeh-hoo-DA
year מִשְּׁנַ֣ת šāne sha-NEH
from the twentieth עֶשְׂרִ֗ים ʿeśrîm es-REEM
even unto וְ֠עַד ʿad ad
year שְׁנַ֨ת šāne sha-NEH
and thirtieth שְׁלֹשִׁ֤ים šĕlôšîm sheh-loh-SHEEM
the two וּשְׁתַּ֙יִם֙ šĕnayim sheh-na-YEEM
of Artaxerxes לְאַרְתַּחְשַׁ֣סְתְּא ʾartaḥšaštāʾ ar-tahk-shahsh-TA
the king, הַמֶּ֔לֶךְ melek meh-LEK
years, שָׁנִ֖ים šāne sha-NEH
twelve שְׁתֵּ֣ים šĕnayim sheh-na-YEEM
עֶשְׂרֵ֑ה ʿāśār ah-SAHR
I אֲנִ֣י ʾănî uh-NEE
and my brethren וְאַחַ֔י ʾāḥ ak
the bread לֶ֥חֶם leḥem leh-HEM
of the governor. הַפֶּ֖חָה peḥâ peh-HA
have not לֹ֥א lōʾ loh
eaten אָכַֽלְתִּי׃ ʾākal ah-HAHL
