യോഹന്നാൻ 14:1-14

1 Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me.

2 In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.

3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.

4 And whither I go ye know, and the way ye know.

5 Thomas saith unto him, Lord, we know not whither thou goest; and how can we know the way?

6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

7 If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also: and from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him.

8 Philip saith unto him, Lord, shew us the Father, and it sufficeth us.

9 Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Shew us the Father?

10 Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works.

11 Believe me that I am in the Father, and the Father in me: or else believe me for the very works’ sake.

12 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.

13 And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.

14 If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it.

1 നിങ്ങളുടെ ഹൃദയം കലങ്ങിപ്പോകരുതു; ദൈവത്തിൽ വിശ്വസിപ്പിൻ, എന്നിലും വിശ്വസിപ്പിൻ.
Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me.

2 എന്റെ പിതാവിന്റെ ഭവനത്തിൽ അനേകം വാസസ്ഥലങ്ങൾ ഉണ്ടു; ഇല്ലെങ്കിൽ ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളോടു പറയുമായിരുന്നു. ഞാൻ നിങ്ങൾക്കു സ്ഥലം ഒരുക്കുവാൻ പോകുന്നു.

3 ഞാൻ പോയി നിങ്ങൾക്കു സ്ഥലം ഒരുക്കിയാൽ, ഞാൻ ഇരിക്കുന്ന ഇടത്തു നിങ്ങളും ഇരിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു പിന്നെയും വന്നു നിങ്ങളെ എന്റെ അടുക്കൽ ചേർത്തുകൊള്ളും
And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.

4 ഞാൻ പോകുന്ന ഇടത്തേക്കുള്ള വഴി നിങ്ങൾ അറിയുന്നു.
And whither I go ye know, and the way ye know.

5 തോമാസ് അവനോടു: കർത്താവേ, നീ എവിടെ പോകുന്നു എന്നു ഞങ്ങൾ അറിയുന്നില്ല; പിന്നെ വഴി എങ്ങനെ അറിയും എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു. യേശു അവനോടു:
Thomas saith unto him, Lord, we know not whither thou goest; and how can we know the way?

6 ഞാൻ തന്നേ വഴിയും സത്യവും ജീവനും ആകുന്നു; ഞാൻ മുഖാന്തരമല്ലാതെ ആരും പിതാവിന്റെ അടുക്കൽ എത്തുന്നില്ല.
Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

7 നിങ്ങൾ എന്നെ അറിഞ്ഞു എങ്കിൽ എന്റെ പിതാവിനെയും അറിയുമായിരുന്നു; ഇന്നുമുതൽ നിങ്ങൾ അവനെ അറിയുന്നു; അവനെ കണ്ടുമിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.
If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also: and from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him.

8 ഫിലിപ്പോസ് അവനോടു: കർത്താവേ, പിതാവിനെ ഞങ്ങൾക്കു കാണിച്ചു തരേണം; എന്നാൽ ഞങ്ങൾക്കു മതി എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.
Philip saith unto him, Lord, shew us the Father, and it sufficeth us.

9 യേശു അവനോടു പറഞ്ഞതു: ഞാൻ ഇത്രകാലം നിങ്ങളോടുകൂടെ ഇരുന്നിട്ടും നീ എന്നെ അറിയുന്നില്ലയോ ഫിലിപ്പൊസേ? എന്നെ കണ്ടവൻ പിതാവിനെ കണ്ടിരിക്കുന്നു; പിന്നെ പിതാവിനെ ഞങ്ങൾക്കു കാണിച്ചുതരേണം എന്നു നീ പറയുന്നതു എങ്ങനെ?

10 ഞാൻ പിതാവിലും പിതാവു എന്നിലും ആകുന്നു എന്നു നീ വിശ്വസിക്കുന്നില്ലയോ? ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളോടു പറയുന്ന വചനം സ്വയമായിട്ടല്ല സംസാരിക്കുന്നതു; പിതാവു എന്നിൽ വസിച്ചുകൊണ്ടു തന്റെ പ്രവൃത്തി ചെയ്യുന്നു.
Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works.

11 ഞാൻ പിതാവിലും പിതാവു എന്നിലും എന്നു എന്നെ വിശ്വസിപ്പിൻ; അല്ലെങ്കിൽ പ്രവൃത്തി നിമിത്തം എന്നെ വിശ്വസിപ്പിൻ.
Believe me that I am in the Father, and the Father in me: or else believe me for the very works’ sake.

12 ആമേൻ, ആമേൻ, ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളോടു പറയുന്നു; ഞാൻ ചെയ്യുന്ന പ്രവൃത്തി എന്നിൽ വിശ്വസിക്കുന്നവനും ചെയ്യും; ഞാൻ പിതാവിന്റെ അടുക്കൽ പോകുന്നതുകൊണ്ടു അതിൽ വലിയതും അവൻ ചെയ്യും.
Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.

13 നിങ്ങൾ എന്റെ നാമത്തിൽ അപേക്ഷിക്കുന്നതു ഒക്കെയും പിതാവു പുത്രനിൽ മഹത്വപ്പെടേണ്ടതിന്നു ഞാൻ ചെയ്തുതരും.
And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.

14 നിങ്ങൾ എന്റെ നാമത്തിൽ എന്നോടു അപേക്ഷിക്കുന്നതു ഒക്കെയും ഞാൻ ചെയ്തുതരും.
If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it.
