Hosea 8
11 എഫ്രയീം പാപപരിഹാരത്തിന്നായി അനേകം യാഗപീഠങ്ങളെ ഉണ്ടാക്കിയതുകൊണ്ടു, യാഗപീഠങ്ങൾ അവന്നു പാപഹേതുവായി തീർന്നിരിക്കുന്നു.
12 ഞാൻ എന്റെ ന്യായപ്രമാണം അവന്നു പതിനായിരം കല്പനയായി എഴുതിക്കൊടുത്താലും അവ അപൂർവ്വകാര്യമായി എണ്ണപ്പെടുന്നു.
13 അവർ എന്റെ അർപ്പണയാഗങ്ങളെ അറുത്തു മാംസം തിന്നുന്നു; എന്നാൽ യഹോവ അവയിൽ പ്രസാദിക്കുന്നില്ല; ഇപ്പോൾ അവൻ അവരുടെ അകൃത്യം ഓർത്തു അവരുടെ പാപം സന്ദർശിക്കും; അവർ മിസ്രയീമിലേക്കു മടങ്ങിപ്പോകേണ്ടിവരും.
11 Because Ephraim hath made many altars to sin, altars shall be unto him to sin.
12 I have written to him the great things of my law, but they were counted as a strange thing.
13 They sacrifice flesh for the sacrifices of mine offerings, and eat it; but the Lord accepteth them not; now will he remember their iniquity, and visit their sins: they shall return to Egypt.
