ആവർത്തനം 12:3
അവരുടെ ബലിപീഠങ്ങൾ ഇടിച്ചുകളയേണം; അവരുടെ ബിംബങ്ങളെ തകർക്കേണം; അവരുടെ അശേരപ്രതിഷ്ഠകളെ തീയിൽ ഇട്ടു ചുട്ടുകളയേണം; അവരുടെ ദേവപ്രതിമകളെ വെട്ടിക്കളഞ്ഞു അവയുടെ പേർ ആ സ്ഥലത്തുനിന്നു നശിപ്പിക്കേണം.

And ye shall overthrow	וְנִתַּצְתֶּ֣ם	wĕnittaṣtem	veh-nee-tahts-TEM
	אֶת	ʾet	et
altars, their	מִזְבּחֹתָ֗ם	mizbḥōtām	meez-b-hoh-TAHM
and break	וְשִׁבַּרְתֶּם֙	wĕšibbartem	veh-shee-bahr-TEM
	אֶת	ʾet	et
pillars, their	מַצֵּ֣בֹתָ֔ם	maṣṣēbōtām	ma-TSAY-voh-TAHM
and burn	וַאֲשֵֽׁרֵיהֶם֙	waʾăšērêhem	va-uh-shay-ray-HEM
their groves	תִּשְׂרְפ֣וּן	tiśrĕpûn	tees-reh-FOON
with fire;	בָּאֵ֔שׁ	bāʾēš	ba-AYSH
down hew shall ye and	וּפְסִילֵ֥י	ûpĕsîlê	oo-feh-see-LAY
the graven images	אֱלֹֽהֵיהֶ֖ם	ʾĕlōhêhem	ay-loh-hay-HEM
of their gods,	תְּגַדֵּע֑וּן	tĕgaddēʿûn	teh-ɡa-day-OON
destroy and	וְאִבַּדְתֶּ֣ם	wĕʾibbadtem	veh-ee-bahd-TEM
	אֶת	ʾet	et
the names	שְׁמָ֔ם	šĕmām	sheh-MAHM
of out them of	מִן	min	meen
that	הַמָּק֖וֹם	hammāqôm	ha-ma-KOME
place.	הַהֽוּא׃	hahûʾ	ha-HOO
