അവനെ മുമ്പെ അറിഞ്ഞവർ ഒക്കെയും അവൻ പ്രവാചകന്മാരുടെ കൂട്ടത്തിൽ പ്രവചിക്കുന്നതു കണ്ടപ്പോൾ: കീശിന്റെ മകന്നു എന്തു സംഭവിച്ചു? ശൌലും പ്രവാചകന്മാരുടെ കൂട്ടത്തിൽ ആയോ എന്നു ജനം തമ്മിൽ തമ്മിൽ പറഞ്ഞു.
