Micah 7
1 എനിക്കു അയ്യോ കഷ്ടം; പഴം പറിച്ച ശേഷമെന്നപോലെയും മുന്തിരിപ്പഴം പറിച്ചശേഷം കാലാ പെറുക്കുന്നതുപോലെയും ഞാൻ ആയല്ലോ! തിന്മാൻ ഒരു മുന്തിരിക്കുലയും ഇല്ല; ഞാൻ കൊതിക്കുന്ന അത്തിയുടെ തലപ്പഴവുമില്ല.
2 ഭക്തിമാൻ ഭൂമിയിൽനിന്നു നശിച്ചുപോയി, മനുഷ്യരുടെ ഇടയിൽ നേരുള്ളവൻ ആരുമില്ല; അവരൊക്കെയും രക്തത്തിന്നായി പതിയിരിക്കുന്നു; ഓരോരുത്തൻ താന്താന്റെ സഹോദരനെ വല വെച്ചു പിടിപ്പാൻ നോക്കുന്നു.
3 ജാഗ്രതയോടെ ദോഷം പ്രവർത്തിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു അവരുടെ കൈ അതിലേക്കു നീണ്ടിരിക്കുന്നു; പ്രഭു പ്രതിഫലം ചോദിക്കുന്നു; ന്യായാധിപതി പ്രതിഫലം വാങ്ങി ന്യായം വിധിക്കുന്നു; മഹാൻ തന്റെ മനസ്സിലെ ദുരാഗ്രഹം പ്രസ്താവിക്കുന്നു; ഇങ്ങനെ അവർ പിരിമുറുക്കുന്നു.
4 അവരിൽ ഉത്തമൻ മുൾപടർപ്പുപോലെ; നേരുള്ളവൻ മുൾവേലിയെക്കാൾ വല്ലാത്തവൻ തന്നേ; നിന്റെ ദർശകന്മാർ പറഞ്ഞ ദിവസം, നിന്റെ സന്ദർശനദിവസം തന്നേ, വരുന്നു; ഇപ്പോൾ അവരുടെ പരിഭ്രമം വന്നുഭവിക്കും.
5 കൂട്ടുകാരനെ വിശ്വസിക്കരുതു; സ്നേഹിതനിൽ ആശ്രയിക്കരുതു; നിന്റെ മാർവ്വിടത്തു ശയിക്കുന്നവളോടു പറയാതവണ്ണം നിന്റെ വായുടെ കതകു കാത്തുകൊൾക.
6 മകൻ അപ്പനെ നിന്ദിക്കുന്നു; മകൾ അമ്മയോടും മരുമകൾ അമ്മാവിയമ്മയോടും എതിർത്തുനില്ക്കുന്നു; മനുഷ്യന്റെ ശത്രുക്കൾ അവന്റെ വിട്ടുകാർ തന്നേ.
1 Woe is me! for I am as when they have gathered the summer fruits, as the grapegleanings of the vintage: there is no cluster to eat: my soul desired the firstripe fruit.
2 The good man is perished out of the earth: and there is none upright among men: they all lie in wait for blood; they hunt every man his brother with a net.
3 That they may do evil with both hands earnestly, the prince asketh, and the judge asketh for a reward; and the great man, he uttereth his mischievous desire: so they wrap it up.
4 The best of them is as a brier: the most upright is sharper than a thorn hedge: the day of thy watchmen and thy visitation cometh; now shall be their perplexity.
5 Trust ye not in a friend, put ye not confidence in a guide: keep the doors of thy mouth from her that lieth in thy bosom.
6 For the son dishonoureth the father, the daughter riseth up against her mother, the daughter in law against her mother in law; a man’s enemies are the men of his own house.
