Matthew 8 - DBY (Malayalam)

1 And when he had come down from the mountain, great crowds followed him.അവൻ മലയിൽനിന്നു ഇറങ്ങിവന്നാറെ വളരെ പുരുഷാരം അവനെ പിന്തുടർന്നു.

2 And behold, a leper came up to [him] and did him homage, saying, Lord, if thou wilt, thou art able to cleanse me.അപ്പോൾ ഒരു കുഷ്ഠരോഗി വന്നു അവനെ നമസ്കരിച്ചു കർത്താവേ, നിനക്കു മനസ്സുണ്ടെങ്കിൽ എന്നെ ശുദ്ധമാക്കുവാൻ കഴിയും എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

3 And he stretched out his hand and touched him, saying, I will; be cleansed. And immediately his leprosy was cleansed.അവൻ കൈ നീട്ടി അവനെ തൊട്ടു: “എനിക്കു മനസ്സുണ്ടു; നീ ശുദ്ധമാക” എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു; ഉടനെ കുഷ്ഠം മാറി അവൻ ശുദ്ധമായി.

4 And Jesus says to him, See thou tell no man, but go, shew thyself to the priest, and offer the gift which Moses ordained, for a testimony to them.യേശു അവനോടു: “നോക്കൂ, ആരോടും പറയരുതു; അവർക്കു സാക്ഷ്യത്തിന്നായി നീ ചെന്നു നിന്നെത്തന്നേ പുരോഹിതന്നു കാണിച്ചു, മോശെ കല്പിച്ച വഴിപാടു കഴിക്ക” എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

5 And when he had entered into Capernaum, a centurion came to him, beseeching him,അവൻ കഫർന്നഹൂമിൽ എത്തിയപ്പോൾ ഒരു ശതാധിപൻ വന്നു അവനോടു:

6 and saying, Lord, my servant lies paralytic in the house, suffering grievously.കർത്താവേ, എന്റെ ബാല്യക്കാരൻ പക്ഷവാതം പിടിച്ചു കഠിനമായി വേദനപ്പെട്ടു വീട്ടിൽ കിടക്കുന്നു എന്നു അപേക്ഷിച്ചു പറഞ്ഞു.

7 And Jesus says to him, *I* will come and heal him.അവൻ അവനോടു: “ഞാൻ വന്നു അവനെ സൌഖ്യമാക്കും എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.”

8 And the centurion answered and said, Lord, I am not fit that thou shouldest enter under my roof; but only speak a word, and my servant shall be healed.അതിന്നു ശതാധിപൻ: കർത്താവേ, നീ എന്റെ പുരെക്കകത്തു വരുവാൻ ഞാൻ യോഗ്യനല്ല; ഒരു വാക്കുമാത്രം കല്പിച്ചാൽ എന്റെ ബാല്യക്കാരന്നു സൌഖ്യം വരും.

9 For *I* also am a man under authority, having under me soldiers, and I say to this [one], Go, and he goes; and to another, Come, and he comes; and to my bondman, Do this, and he does it.ഞാനും അധികാരത്തിൻ കീഴുള്ള മനുഷ്യൻ ആകുന്നു. എന്റെ കീഴിൽ പടയാളികൾ ഉണ്ടു; ഞാൻ ഒരുവനോടു: പോക എന്നു പറഞ്ഞാൽ പോകുന്നു; മറ്റൊരുത്തനോടു: വരിക എന്നു പറഞ്ഞാൽ വരുന്നു; എന്റെ ദാസനോടു: ഇതു ചെയ്ക എന്നു പറഞ്ഞാൽ അവൻ ചെയ്യുന്നു എന്നു ഉത്തരം പറഞ്ഞു.

10 And when Jesus heard it, he wondered, and said to those who followed, Verily I say unto you, Not even in Israel have I found so great faith.അതു കേട്ടിട്ടു യേശു അതിശയിച്ചു, പിൻചെല്ലുന്നവരോടു പറഞ്ഞതു: “യിസ്രായേലിൽകൂടെ ഇത്ര വലിയ വിശ്വാസം കണ്ടിട്ടില്ല എന്നു ഞാൻ സത്യമായിട്ടു നിങ്ങളോടു പറയുന്നു.

11 But I say unto you, that many shall come from [the] rising and setting [sun], and shall lie down at table with Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob in the kingdom of the heavens;കിഴക്കുനിന്നും പടിഞ്ഞാറുനിന്നും അനേകർ വന്നു അബ്രാഹാമിനോടും യിസ്ഹാക്കിനോടും യാക്കോബിനോടും കൂടെ സ്വർഗ്ഗരാജ്യത്തിൽ പന്തിക്കിരിക്കും.

12 but the sons of the kingdom shall be cast out into the outer darkness: there shall be the weeping and the gnashing of teeth.രാജ്യത്തിന്റെ പുത്രന്മാരേയോ ഏറ്റവും പുറത്തുള്ള ഇരുളിലേക്കു തള്ളിക്കളയും; അവിടെ കരച്ചലും പല്ലുകടിയും ഉണ്ടാകും എന്നു ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളോടു പറയുന്നു.”

13 And Jesus said to the centurion, Go, and as thou hast believed, be it to thee. And his servant was healed in that hour.പിന്നെ യേശു ശതാധിപനോടു: “പോക, നീ വിശ്വസിച്ചതു പോലെ നിനക്കു ഭവിക്കട്ടെ” എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു. അ നാഴികയിൽ തന്നേ അവന്റെ ബാല്യക്കാരന്നു സൌഖ്യം വന്നു.

14 And when Jesus had come to Peter's house, he saw his mother-in-law laid down and in a fever;യേശു പത്രോസിന്റെ വീട്ടിൽ വന്നാറെ അവന്റെ അമ്മാവിയമ്മ പനിപിടിച്ചു കിടക്കുന്നതു കണ്ടു.

15 and he touched her hand, and the fever left her, and she arose and served him.അവൻ അവളുടെ കൈതൊട്ടു പനി അവളെ വിട്ടു; അവൾ എഴുന്നേറ്റു അവർക്കു ശുശ്രൂഷ ചെയ്തു.

16 And when the evening was come, they brought to him many possessed by demons, and he cast out the spirits with a word, and healed all that were ill;വൈകുന്നേരം ആയപ്പോൾ പല ഭൂതഗ്രസ്തരെയും അവന്റെ അടുക്കൽ കൊണ്ടുവന്നു; അവൻ വാക്കുകൊണ്ടു ദുരാത്മാക്കളെ പുറത്താക്കി സകലദീനക്കാർക്കും സൌഖ്യം വരുത്തി.

17 so that that should be fulfilled which was spoken through Esaias the prophet, saying, Himself took our infirmities and bore our diseases.അവൻ നമ്മുടെ ബലഹീനതകളെ എടുത്തു വ്യാധികളെ ചുമന്നു എന്നു യെശയ്യാപ്രവാചകൻ പറഞ്ഞതു നിവൃത്തിയാകുവാൻ തന്നേ.

18 And Jesus, seeing great crowds around him, commanded to depart to the other side.എന്നാൽ യേശു തന്റെ ചുറ്റും വളരെ പുരുഷാരത്തെ കണ്ടാറെ അക്കരെക്കു പോകുവാൻ കല്പിച്ചു.

19 And a scribe came up and said to him, Teacher, I will follow thee whithersoever thou mayest go.അന്നു ഒരു ശാസ്ത്രി അവന്റെ അടുക്കൽ വന്നു: ഗുരോ, നീ എവിടെ പോയാലും ഞാൻ നിന്നെ അനുഗമിക്കാം എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

20 And Jesus says to him, The foxes have holes, and the birds of the heaven roosting-places; but the Son of man has not where he may lay his head.യേശു അവനോടു: “കുറുനരികൾക്കു കുഴികളും ആകാശത്തിലെ പറവകൾക്കു കൂടുകളും ഉണ്ടു; മനുഷ്യപുത്രന്നോ തലചായിപ്പാൻ ഇടം ഇല്ല എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.”

21 But another of his disciples said to him, Lord, suffer me first to go away and bury my father.ശിഷ്യന്മാരിൽ വേറൊരുത്തൻ അവനോടു: കർത്താവേ, ഞാൻ മുമ്പെപോയി എന്റെ അപ്പനെ അടക്കം ചെയ്‍വാൻ അനുവാദം തരേണം എന്നുപറഞ്ഞു.

22 But Jesus said to him, Follow me, and leave the dead to bury their own dead.യേശു അവനോടു: “നീ എന്റെ പിന്നാലെ വരിക; മരിച്ചവർ തങ്ങളുടെ മരിച്ചവരെ അടക്കം ചെയ്യട്ടെ” എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

23 And he went on board ship and his disciples followed him;അവൻ ഒരു പടകിൽ കയറിയപ്പോൾ അവന്റെ ശിഷ്യന്മാർ കൂടെ ചെന്നു.

24 and behold, [the water] became very agitated on the sea, so that the ship was covered by the waves; but *he* slept.പിന്നെ കടലിൽ വലിയ ഓളം ഉണ്ടായിട്ടു പടകു തിരകളാൽ മുങ്ങുമാറായി; അവനോ ഉറങ്ങുകയായിരുന്നു.

25 And the disciples came and awoke him, saying, Lord save: we perish.അവർ അടുത്തുചെന്നു: കർത്താവേ രക്ഷിക്കേണമേ: ഞങ്ങൾ നശിച്ചുപോകുന്നു എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു അവനെ ഉണർത്തി.

26 And he says to them, Why are ye fearful, O ye of little faith? Then, having arisen, he rebuked the winds and the sea, and there was a great calm.അവൻ അവരോടു: “അല്പവിശ്വാസികളെ, നിങ്ങൾ ഭീരുക്കൾ ആകുവാൻ എന്തു” എന്നു പറഞ്ഞശേഷം എഴുന്നേറ്റു കാറ്റിനെയും കടലിനെയും ശാസിച്ചപ്പോൾ വലിയ ശാന്തതയുണ്ടായി.

27 But the men were astonished, saying, What sort [of man] is this, that even the winds and the sea obey him?എന്നാറെ ആ മനുഷ്യർ അതിശയിച്ചു: ഇവൻ എങ്ങനെയുള്ളവൻ? കാറ്റും കടലും കൂടെ ഇവനെ അനുസരിക്കുന്നുവല്ലോ എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

28 And there met him, when he came to the other side, to the country of the Gergesenes, two possessed by demons, coming out of the tombs, exceeding dangerous, so that no one was able to pass by that way.അവൻ അക്കരെ ഗദരേനരുടെ ദേശത്തു എത്തിയാറെ രണ്ടു ഭൂതഗ്രസ്തർ ശവക്കല്ലറകളിൽ നിന്നു പുറപ്പെട്ടു അവന്നു എതിരെ വന്നു; അവർ അത്യുഗ്രന്മാർ ആയിരുന്നതുകൊണ്ടു ആർക്കും ആ വഴി നടന്നുകൂടാഞ്ഞു.

29 And behold, they cried out, saying, What have we to do with thee, Son of God? hast thou come here before the time to torment us?അവർ നിലവിളിച്ചു: ദൈവപുത്രാ, ഞങ്ങൾക്കും നിനക്കും തമ്മിൽ എന്തു? സമയത്തിന്നു മുമ്പെ ഞങ്ങളെ ദണ്ഡിപ്പിപ്പാൻ ഇവിടെ വന്നുവോ എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

30 Now there was, a great way off from them, a herd of many swine feeding;അവർക്കകലെ ഒരു വലിയ പന്നിക്കൂട്ടം മേഞ്ഞുകൊണ്ടിരുന്നു.

31 and the demons besought him, saying, If thou cast us out, send us away into the herd of swine.ഭൂതങ്ങൾ അവനോടു: ഞങ്ങളെ പുറത്താക്കുന്നു എങ്കിൽ പന്നിക്കൂട്ടത്തിലേക്കു അയക്കേണം എന്നു അപേക്ഷിച്ചു

32 And he said to them, Go. And they, going out, departed into the herd of swine; and lo, the whole herd [of swine] rushed down the steep slope into the sea, and died in the waters.“പൊയ്ക്കൊൾവിൻ” എന്നു അവൻ അവരോടു പറഞ്ഞു; അവർ പുറപ്പെട്ടു പന്നികളിലേക്കു ചെന്നു; ആ കൂട്ടം എല്ലാം കടുന്തൂക്കത്തൂടെ കടലിലേക്കു പാഞ്ഞു വെള്ളത്തിൽ മുങ്ങി ചത്തു.

33 But they that fed them fled, and went away into the city and related everything, and what had happened as to those possessed by demons.മേയക്കുന്നവർ ഓടി പട്ടണത്തിൽ ചെന്നു സകലവും ഭൂതഗ്രസ്ഥരുടെ വസ്തുതയും അറിയിച്ചു.

34 And behold, the whole city went out to meet Jesus; and when they saw him, they begged [him] to go away out of their coasts.ഉടനെ പട്ടണം എല്ലാം പുറപ്പെട്ടു യേശുവിന്നു എതിരെ ചെന്നു; അവനെ കണ്ടാറെ തങ്ങളുടെ അതിർ വിട്ടു പോകേണമെന്നു അപേക്ഷിച്ചു.
