Matthew 3 - YLT (Malayalam)

1 And in those days cometh John the Baptist, proclaiming in the wilderness of Judea,ആ കാലത്തു യോഹന്നാൻസ്നാപകൻ വന്നു, യെഹൂദ്യമരുഭൂമിയിൽ പ്രസംഗിച്ചു:

2 and saying, `Reform, for come nigh hath the reign of the heavens,'സ്വർഗ്ഗരാജ്യം സമീപിച്ചിരിക്കയാൽ മാനസാന്തരപ്പെടുവിൻ എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

3 for this is he who was spoken of by Isaiah the prophet, saying, `A voice of one crying in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the Lord, straight make ye His paths.'“മരുഭൂമിയിൽ വിളിച്ചുപറയുന്നവന്റെ വാക്കാവിതു: കർത്താവിന്റെ വഴി ഒരുക്കി അവന്റെ പാത നിരപ്പാക്കുവിൻ ” എന്നിങ്ങനെ യെശയ്യാ പ്രവാചകൻ പറഞ്ഞവൻ ഇവൻ തന്നേ.

4 And this John had his clothing of camel's hair, and a girdle of skin round his loins, and his nourishment was locusts and honey of the field.യോഹന്നാന്നു ഒട്ടക രോമംകൊണ്ടുള്ള ഉടുപ്പും അരയിൽ തോൽവാറും ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു; അവന്റെ ആഹാരമോ വെട്ടുക്കിളിയും കാട്ടുതേനും ആയിരുന്നു.

5 Then were going forth unto him Jerusalem, and all Judea, and all the region round about the Jordan,അന്നു യെരൂശലേമ്യരും യെഹൂദ്യദേശക്കാരൊക്കയും യോർദ്ദാന്റെ ഇരുകരെയുമുള്ള എല്ലാ നാട്ടുകാരും പുറപ്പെട്ടു അവന്റെ അടുക്കൽ ചെന്നു

6 and they were baptized in the Jordan by him, confessing their sins.തങ്ങളുടെ പാപങ്ങളെ ഏറ്റുപറഞ്ഞുകൊണ്ടു യോർദ്ദാൻ നദിയിൽ അവനാൽ സ്നാനം ഏറ്റു.

7 And having seen many of the Pharisees and Sadducees coming about his baptism, he said to them, `Brood of vipers! who did shew you to flee from the coming wrath?തന്റെ സ്നാനത്തിന്നായി പരീശരിലും സദൂക്യരിലും പലർ വരുന്നതു കണ്ടാറെ അവൻ അവരോടു പറഞ്ഞതു: സർപ്പസന്തതികളെ, വരുവാനുള്ള കോപത്തെ ഒഴിഞ്ഞു ഓടിപ്പോകുവാൻ നിങ്ങൾക്കു ഉപദേശിച്ചുതന്നതു ആർ?

8 bear, therefore, fruits worthy of the reformation,മാനസാന്തരത്തിന്നു യോഗ്യമായ ഫലം കായ്പിൻ.

9 and do not think to say in yourselves, A father we have -- Abraham, for I say to you, that God is able out of these stones to raise children to Abraham,അബ്രാഹാം ഞങ്ങൾക്കു പിതാവായിട്ടു ഉണ്ടു എന്നു ഉള്ളംകൊണ്ടു പറവാൻ തുനിയരുതു; ഈ കല്ലുകളിൽ നിന്നു അബ്രാഹാമിന്നു മക്കളെ ഉളവാക്കുവാൻ ദൈവത്തിന്നു കഴിയും എന്നു ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളോടു പറയുന്നു.

10 and now also, the axe unto the root of the trees is laid, every tree therefore not bearing good fruit is hewn down, and to fire is cast.ഇപ്പോൾ തന്നേ വൃക്ഷങ്ങളുടെ ചുവട്ടിന്നു കോടാലി വെച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു; നല്ലഫലം കായ്ക്കാത്ത വൃക്ഷം എല്ലാം വെട്ടി തീയിൽ ഇട്ടുകളയുന്നു.

11 `I indeed do baptize you with water to reformation, but he who after me is coming is mightier than I, of whom I am not worthy to bear the sandals, he shall baptize you with the Holy Spirit and with fire,ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളെ മാനസാന്തരത്തിന്നായി വെള്ളത്തിൽ സ്നാനം ഏല്പിക്കുന്നതേയുള്ളു; എന്റെ പിന്നാലെ വരുന്നവനോ എന്നെക്കാൾ ബലവാൻ ആകുന്നു; അവന്റെ ചെരിപ്പു ചുമപ്പാൻ ഞാൻ മതിയായവനല്ല; അവൻ നിങ്ങളെ പരിശുദ്ധാത്മാവിലും തീയിലും സ്നാനം ഏല്പിക്കും.

12 whose fan `is' in his hand, and he will thoroughly cleanse his floor, and will gather his wheat to the storehouse, but the chaff he will burn with fire unquenchable.'വീശുമുറം അവന്റെ കയ്യിൽ ഉണ്ടു; അവൻ കളത്തെ മുറ്റും വെടിപ്പാക്കി കോതമ്പു കളപ്പുരയിൽ കൂട്ടിവെക്കയും പതിർ കെടാത്ത തീയിൽ ഇട്ടു ചുട്ടുകളകയും ചെയ്യും.

13 Then cometh Jesus from Galilee upon the Jordan, unto John to be baptized by him,അനന്തരം യേശു യോഹന്നാനാൽ സ്നാനം ഏല്ക്കുവാൻ ഗലീലയിൽ നിന്നു യോർദ്ദാൻ കരെ അവന്റെ അടുക്കൽ വന്നു.

14 but John was forbidding him, saying, `I have need by thee to be baptized -- and thou dost come unto me!'യോഹന്നാനോ അവനെ വിലക്കി: നിന്നാൽ സ്നാനം ഏല്ക്കുവാൻ എനിക്കു ആവശ്യം; പിന്നെ നീ എന്റെ അടുക്കൽ വരുന്നുവോ എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

15 But Jesus answering said to him, `Suffer now, for thus it is becoming to us to fulfill all righteousness,' then he doth suffer him.യേശു അവനോടു: “ഇപ്പോൾ സമ്മതിക്ക; ഇങ്ങനെ സകലനീതിയും നിവർത്തിക്കുന്നതു നമുക്കു ഉചിതം എന്നു ഉത്തരം പറഞ്ഞു”; എന്നാറെ അവൻ അവനെ സമ്മതിച്ചു.

16 And having been baptized, Jesus went up immediately from the water, and lo, opened to him were the heavens, and he saw the Spirit of God descending as a dove, and coming upon him,യേശു സ്നാനം ഏറ്റ ഉടനെ വെള്ളത്തിൽനിന്നു കയറി അപ്പോൾ സ്വർഗ്ഗം തുറന്നു ദൈവാത്മാവു പ്രാവെന്നപോലെ ഇറങ്ങി തന്റെ മേൽ വരുന്നതു അവൻ കണ്ടു;

17 and lo, a voice out of the heavens, saying, `This is My Son -- the Beloved, in whom I did delight.'ഇവൻ എന്റെ പ്രിയപുത്രൻ; ഇവനിൽ ഞാൻ പ്രസാദിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു സ്വർഗ്ഗത്തിൽ നിന്നു ഒരു ശബ്ദവും ഉണ്ടായി.
