Matthew 26 - YLT (Malayalam)

1 And it came to pass, when Jesus finished all these words, he said to his disciples,ഈ വചനങ്ങൾ ഒക്കെയും പറഞ്ഞു തീർന്നശേഷം യേശു ശിഷ്യന്മാരോടു:

2 `Ye have known that after two days the passover cometh, and the Son of Man is delivered up to be crucified.'“രണ്ടു ദിവസം കഴിഞ്ഞിട്ടു പെസഹ ആകുന്നു എന്നു നിങ്ങൾ അറിയുന്നുവല്ലോ; അന്നു മനുഷ്യ പുത്രനെ ക്രൂശിപ്പാൻ ഏല്പിക്കും” എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

3 Then were gathered together the chief priests, and the scribes, and the elders of the people, to the court of the chief priest who was called Caiaphas;അന്നു മഹാപുരോഹിതന്മാരും ജനത്തിന്റെ മൂപ്പന്മാരും കയ്യഫാമഹാപുരോഹിതന്റെ മണ്ഡപത്തിൽ വന്നു കൂടി.

4 and they consulted together that they might take Jesus by guile, and kill `him',യേശുവിനെ ഉപായത്താൽ പിടിച്ചു കൊല്ലുവാൻ ആലോചിച്ചു;

5 and they said, `Not in the feast, that there may not be a tumult among the people.'എങ്കിലും ജനത്തിൽ കലഹമുണ്ടാകാതിരിപ്പാൻ പെരുനാളിൽ അരുതു എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

6 And Jesus having been in Bethany, in the house of Simon the leper,യേശു ബേഥാന്യയിൽ കുഷ്ഠരോഗിയായിരുന്ന ശീമോന്റെ വീട്ടിൽ ഇരിക്കുമ്പോൾ

7 there came to him a woman having an alabaster box of ointment, very precious, and she poured on his head as he is reclining (at meat).ഒരു സ്ത്രീ വിലയേറിയ പരിമളതൈലം നിറഞ്ഞ ഒരു വെണ്കൽഭരണി എടുത്തുംകൊണ്ടു അവന്റെ അടുക്കെ വന്നു, അവൻ പന്തിയിൽ ഇരിക്കുമ്പോൾ അതു അവന്റെ തലയിൽ ഒഴിച്ചു.

8 And having seen `it', his disciples were much displeased, saying, `To what purpose `is' this waste?ശിഷ്യന്മാർ അതു കണ്ടിട്ടു മുഷിഞ്ഞു: ഈ വെറും ചെലവു എന്തിന്നു?

9 for this ointment could have been sold for much, and given to the poor.'ഇതു വളരെ വിലെക്കു വിറ്റു ദരിദ്രർക്കു കൊടുക്കാമായിരുന്നുവല്ലോ എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

10 And Jesus having known, said to them, `Why do ye give trouble to the woman? for a good work she wrought for me;യേശു അതു അറിഞ്ഞു അവരോടു: “സ്ത്രീയെ അസഹ്യപ്പെടുത്തുന്നതു എന്തു? അവൾ എങ്കൽ നല്ല പ്രവൃത്തിയല്ലോ ചെയ്തതു.

11 for the poor always ye have with you, and me ye have not always;ദരിദ്രർ നിങ്ങൾക്കു എല്ലായ്പോഴും അടുക്കെ ഉണ്ടു; ഞാൻ നിങ്ങൾക്കു എല്ലായ്പേഴും ഇല്ലതാനും.

12 for she having put this ointment on my body -- for my burial she did `it'.അവൾ ഈ തൈലം എന്റെ ദേഹത്തിന്മേൽ ഒഴിച്ചതു എന്റെ ശവസംസ്ക്കാരത്തിന്നായി ചെയ്തതാകുന്നു.

13 Verily I say to you, Wherever this good news may be proclaimed in the whole world, what this `one' did shall also be spoken of -- for a memorial of her.'ലോകത്തിൽ എങ്ങും, ഈ സുവിശേഷം പ്രസംഗിക്കുന്നേടത്തെല്ലാം, അവൾ ചെയ്തതും അവളുടെ ഓർമ്മെക്കായി പ്രസ്താവിക്കും എന്നു ഞാൻ സത്യമായിട്ടു നിങ്ങളോടു പറയുന്നു” എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

14 Then one of the twelve, who is called Judas Iscariot, having gone unto the chief priests, said,അന്നു പന്തിരുവരിൽ ഒരുത്തനായ യൂദാ ഈസ്കര്യോത്താവു മഹാപുരോഹിതന്മാരുടെ അടുക്കൽ ചെന്നു:

15 `What are ye willing to give me, and I will deliver him up to you?' and they weighed out to him thirty silverlings,നിങ്ങൾ എന്തു തരും? ഞാൻ അവനെ കാണിച്ചുതരാം എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു: അവർ അവന്നു മുപ്പതു വെള്ളിക്കാശു തൂക്കിക്കൊടുത്തു.

16 and from that time he was seeking a convenient season to deliver him up.അന്നു മുതൽ അവനെ കാണിച്ചുകൊടുപ്പാൻ അവൻ തക്കം അന്വേഷിച്ചു പോന്നു.

17 And on the first `day' of the unleavened food came the disciples near to Jesus, saying to him, `Where wilt thou `that' we may prepare for thee to eat the passover?'പുളിപ്പില്ലാത്ത അപ്പത്തിന്റെ ഒന്നാം നാളിൽ ശിഷ്യന്മാർ യേശുവിന്റെ അടുക്കൽ വന്നു: നീ പെസഹ കഴിപ്പാൻ ഞങ്ങൾ ഒരുക്കേണ്ടതു എവിടെ എന്നു ചോദിച്ചു.

18 and he said, `Go away to the city, unto such a one, and say to him, The Teacher saith, My time is nigh; near thee I keep the passover, with my disciples;'അതിന്നു അവൻ പറഞ്ഞതു: “നിങ്ങൾ നഗരത്തിൽ ഇന്നവന്റെ അടുക്കൽ ചെന്നു: എന്റെ സമയം അടുത്തിരിക്കുന്നു; ഞാൻ എന്റെ ശിഷ്യരുമായി നിന്റെ അടുക്കൽ പെസഹ കഴിക്കും എന്നു ഗുരു പറയുന്നു എന്നു പറവിൻ.”

19 and the disciples did as Jesus appointed them, and prepared the passover.ശിഷ്യന്മാർ യേശു കല്പിച്ചതുപോലെ ചെയ്തു പെസഹ ഒരുക്കി.

20 And evening having come, he was reclining (at meat) with the twelve,സന്ധ്യയായപ്പോൾ അവൻ പന്ത്രണ്ടു ശിഷ്യന്മാരോടുകൂടെ പന്തിയിൽ ഇരുന്നു.

21 and while they are eating, he said, `Verily I say to you, that one of you shall deliver me up.'അവർ ഭക്ഷിക്കുമ്പോൾ അവൻ: “നിങ്ങളിൽ ഒരുവൻ എന്നെ കാണിച്ചുകൊടുക്കും എന്നു ഞാൻ സത്യമായിട്ടു നിങ്ങളോടു പറയുന്നു” എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

22 And being grieved exceedingly, they began to say to him, each of them, `Is it I, Sir?'അപ്പോൾ അവർ അത്യന്തം ദുഃഖിച്ചു: ഞാനോ, ഞാനോ, കർത്താവേ, എന്നു ഓരോരുത്തൻ പറഞ്ഞുതുടങ്ങി.

23 And he answering said, `He who did dip with me the hand in the dish, he will deliver me up;അവൻ ഉത്തരം പറഞ്ഞതു: “എന്നോടുകൂടെ കൈ താലത്തിൽ മുക്കുന്നവൻ തന്നേ എന്നെ കാണിച്ചുകൊടുക്കും.

24 the Son of Man doth indeed go, as it hath been written concerning him, but wo to that man through whom the Son of Man is delivered up! good it were for him if that man had not been born.'തന്നെക്കുറിച്ചു എഴുതിയിരിക്കുന്നതുപോലെ മനുഷ്യ പുത്രൻ പോകുന്നു സത്യം; മനുഷ്യപുത്രനെ കാണിച്ചുകൊടുക്കുന്ന മനുഷ്യന്നോ ഹാ കഷ്ടം; ആ മനുഷ്യൻ ജനിക്കാതിരുന്നു എങ്കിൽ അവന്നു കൊള്ളായിരുന്നു.”

25 And Judas -- he who delivered him up -- answering said, `Is it I, Rabbi?' He saith to him, `Thou hast said.'എന്നാറെ അവനെ കാണിച്ചുകൊടുക്കുന്ന യൂദാ: ഞാനോ, റബ്ബീ, എന്നു പറഞ്ഞതിന്നു: “നീ തന്നേ” എന്നു അവൻ പറഞ്ഞു.

26 And while they were eating, Jesus having taken the bread, and having blessed, did brake, and was giving to the disciples, and said, `Take, eat, this is my body;'അവർ ഭക്ഷിക്കുമ്പോൾ യേശു അപ്പം എടുത്തു വാഴ്ത്തി നുറുക്കി ശിഷ്യന്മാർക്കു കൊടുത്തു: “വാങ്ങി ഭക്ഷിപ്പിൻ; ഇതു എന്റെ ശരീരം” എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

27 and having taken the cup, and having given thanks, he gave to them, saying, `Drink ye of it -- all;പിന്നെ പാനപാത്രം എടുത്തു സ്തോത്രം ചൊല്ലി അവർക്കു കൊടുത്തു: “എല്ലാവരും ഇതിൽ നിന്നു കുടിപ്പിൻ.

28 for this is my blood of the new covenant, that for many is being poured out -- to remission of sins;ഇതു അനേകർക്കുവേണ്ടി പാപമോചനത്തിന്നായി ചൊരിയുന്ന പുതിയ നിയമത്തിന്നുള്ള എന്റെ രക്തം;

29 and I say to you, that I may not drink henceforth on this produce of the vine, till that day when I may drink it with you new in the reign of my Father.'എന്റെ പിതാവിന്റെ രാജ്യത്തിൽ നിങ്ങളോടുകൂടെ പുതുതായി കുടിക്കുംനാൾവരെ ഞാൻ മുന്തിരിവള്ളിയുടെ ഈ അനുഭവത്തിൽ നിന്നു ഇനി കുടിക്കയില്ല എന്നു ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളോടു പറയുന്നു” എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

30 And having sung a hymn, they went forth to the mount of the Olives;പിന്നെ അവർ സ്തോത്രം പാടിയശേഷം ഒലീവ് മലെക്കു പുറപ്പെട്ടുപോയി.

31 then saith Jesus to them, `All ye shall be stumbled at me this night; for it hath been written, I will smite the shepherd, and the sheep of the flock shall be scattered abroad;യേശു അവരോടു: “ഈ രാത്രിയിൽ നിങ്ങൾ എല്ലാവരും എങ്കൽ ഇടറും; ഞാൻ ഇടയനെ വെട്ടും; കൂട്ടത്തിലെ ആടുകൾ ചിതറിപ്പോകും എന്നു എഴുതിയിരിക്കുന്നുവല്ലോ.

32 but, after my having risen, I will go before you to Galilee.'എന്നാൽ ഞാൻ ഉയിർത്തെഴുന്നേറ്റശേഷം നിങ്ങൾക്കു മുമ്പായി ഗലീലെക്കു പോകും.”

33 And Peter answering said to him, `Even if all shall be stumbled at thee, I will never be stumbled.'അതിന്നു പത്രൊസ്; എല്ലാവരും നിങ്കൽ ഇടറിയാലും ഞാൻ ഒരുനാളും ഇടറുകയില്ല എന്നു ഉത്തരം പറഞ്ഞു.

34 Jesus said to him, `Verily I say to thee, that, this night, before cock-crowing, thrice thou wilt deny me.'യേശു അവനോടു: “ഈ രാത്രിയിൽ കോഴി കൂകുംമുമ്പെ നീ മൂന്നുവട്ടം എന്നെ തള്ളിപ്പറയും എന്നു ഞാൻ സത്യമായിട്ടു നിന്നോടു പറയുന്നു” എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

35 Peter saith to him, `Even if it may be necessary for me to die with thee, I will not deny thee;' in like manner also said all the disciples.നിന്നോടു കൂടെ മരിക്കേണ്ടിവന്നാലും ഞാൻ നിന്നെ തള്ളിപ്പറകയില്ല എന്നു പത്രൊസ് അവനോടു പറഞ്ഞു. അതുപോലെ തന്നേ ശിഷ്യന്മാർ എല്ലാവരും പറഞ്ഞു.

36 Then come with them doth Jesus to a place called Gethsemane, and he saith to the disciples, `Sit ye here, till having gone away, I shall pray yonder.'അനന്തരം യേശു അവരുമായി ഗെത്ത്ശെമന എന്ന തോട്ടത്തിൽ വന്നു ശിഷ്യന്മാരോടു: “ഞാൻ അവിടെ പോയി പ്രാർത്ഥിച്ചു വരുവോളം ഇവിടെ ഇരിപ്പിൻ” എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു,

37 And having taken Peter, and the two sons of Zebedee, he began to be sorrowful, and to be very heavy;പത്രൊസിനെയും സെബെദി പുത്രന്മാർ ഇരുവരെയും കൂട്ടിക്കൊണ്ടു ചെന്നു ദുഃഖിച്ചും വ്യാകുലപ്പെട്ടും തുടങ്ങി:

38 then saith he to them, `Exceedingly sorrowful is my soul -- unto death; abide ye here, and watch with me.'“എന്റെ ഉള്ളം മരണവേദനപോലെ അതിദുഃഖിതമായിരിക്കുന്നു; ഇവിടെ താമസിച്ചു എന്നോടുകൂടെ ഉണർന്നിരിപ്പിൻ” എന്നു അവരോടു പറഞ്ഞു.

39 And having gone forward a little, he fell on his face, praying, and saying, `My Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me; nevertheless, not as I will, but as Thou.'പിന്നെ അവൻ അല്പം മുമ്പോട്ടുചെന്നു കവിണ്ണുവീണു: “പിതാവേ, കഴിയും എങ്കിൽ ഈ പാനപാത്രം എങ്കൽ നിന്നു നീങ്ങിപ്പോകേണമേ; എങ്കിലും ഞാൻ ഇച്ഛിക്കുംപോലെ അല്ല, നീ ഇച്ഛിക്കുംപോലെ ആകട്ടെ” എന്നു പ്രാർത്ഥിച്ചു.

40 And he cometh unto the disciples, and findeth them sleeping, and he saith to Peter, `So! ye were not able one hour to watch with me!പിന്നെ അവൻ ശിഷ്യന്മാരുടെ അടുക്കൽ വന്നു, അവർ ഉറങ്ങുന്നതു കണ്ടു, പത്രൊസിനോടു: “എന്നോടു കൂടെ ഒരു നാഴികപോലും ഉണർന്നിരിപ്പാൻ നിങ്ങൾക്കു കഴിഞ്ഞില്ലയോ?

41 watch, and pray, that ye may not enter into temptation: the spirit indeed is forward, but the flesh weak.'പരീക്ഷയിൽ അകപ്പെടാതിരിപ്പാൻ ഉണർന്നിരുന്നു പ്രാർത്ഥിപ്പിൻ; ആത്മാവു ഒരുക്കമുള്ളതു, ജഡമോ ബലഹീനമത്രേ” എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

42 Again, a second time, having gone away, he prayed, saying, `My Father, if this cup cannot pass away from me except I drink it, Thy will be done;'രണ്ടാമതും പോയി: “പിതാവേ, ഞാൻ കുടിക്കാതെ അതു നീങ്ങിക്കൂടാ എങ്കിൽ, നിന്റെ ഇഷ്ടം ആകട്ടെ” എന്നു പ്രാർത്ഥിച്ചു.

43 and having come, he findeth them again sleeping, for their eyes were heavy.അനന്തരം അവൻ വന്നു, അവർ കണ്ണിന്നു ഭാരം ഏറുകയാൽ പിന്നെയും ഉറങ്ങുന്നതുകണ്ടു.

44 And having left them, having gone away again, he prayed a third time, saying the same word;അവരെ വിട്ടു മൂന്നാമതും പോയി ആ വചനം തന്നേ ചൊല്ലി പ്രാർത്ഥിച്ചു.

45 then cometh he unto his disciples, and saith to them, `Sleep on henceforth, and rest! lo, the hour hath come nigh, and the Son of Man is delivered up to the hands of sinners.പിന്നെ ശിഷ്യന്മാരുടെ അടുക്കൽ വന്നു: “ഇനി ഉറങ്ങി ആശ്വസിച്ചു കൊൾവിൻ; നാഴിക അടുത്തു; മനുഷ്യപുത്രൻ പാപികളുടെ കയ്യിൽ ഏല്പിക്കപ്പെടുന്നു;

46 Rise, let us go; lo, he hath come nigh who is delivering me up.'എഴുന്നേല്പിൻ, നാം പോക; ഇതാ, എന്നെ കാണിച്ചു കൊടുക്കുന്നവൻ അടുത്തിരിക്കുന്നു” എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

47 And while he is yet speaking, lo, Judas, one of the twelve did come, and with him a great multitude, with swords and sticks, from the chief priests and elders of the people.അവൻ സംസാരിക്കുമ്പോൾ തന്നേ പന്തിരുവരിൽ ഒരുത്തനായ യൂദയും അവനോടു കൂടെ മഹാപുരോഹിതന്മാരും ജനത്തിന്റെ മൂപ്പന്മാരും അയച്ച വലിയോരു പുരുഷാരവും വാളും വടികളുമായി വന്നു.

48 And he who did deliver him up did give them a sign, saying, `Whomsoever I will kiss, it is he: lay hold on him;'അവനെ കാണിച്ചുകൊടുക്കുന്നവൻ; ഞാൻ ഏവനെ ചുംബിക്കുമോ അവൻ തന്നേ ആകുന്നു; അവനെ പിടിച്ചുകൊൾവിൻ എന്നു അവർക്കു ഒരു അടയാളം കൊടുത്തിരുന്നു.

49 and immediately, having come to Jesus, he said, `Hail, Rabbi,' and kissed him;ഉടനെ അവൻ യേശുവിന്റെ അടുക്കൽ വന്നു: റബ്ബീ, വന്ദനം എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു അവനെ ചുംബിച്ചു.

50 and Jesus said to him, `Comrade, for what art thou present?' Then having come near, they laid hands on Jesus, and took hold on him.യേശു അവനോടു: “സ്നേഹിതാ, നീ വന്ന കാര്യം എന്തു” എന്നു പറഞ്ഞപ്പോൾ അവർ അടുത്തു യേശുവിന്മേൽ കൈ വെച്ചു അവനെ പിടിച്ചു.

51 And lo, one of those with Jesus, having stretched forth the hand, drew his sword, and having struck the servant of the chief priest, he took off his ear.അപ്പോൾ യേശുവിനോടുകൂടെയുള്ളവരിൽ ഒരുവൻ കൈ നീട്ടി വാൾ ഊരി, മഹാപുരോഹിതന്റെ ദാസനെ വെട്ടി അവന്റെ കാതു അറുത്തു.

52 Then saith Jesus to him, `Turn back thy sword to its place; for all who did take the sword, by the sword shall perish;യേശു അവനോടു: “വാൾ ഉറയിൽ ഇടുക; വാൾ എടുക്കുന്നവർ ഒക്കെയും വാളാൽ നശിച്ചുപോകും.

53 dost thou think that I am not able now to call upon my Father, and He will place beside me more than twelve legions of messengers?എന്റെ പിതാവിനോടു ഇപ്പോൾ തന്നേ പന്ത്രണ്ടു ലെഗ്യോനിലും അധികം ദൂതന്മാരെ എന്റെ അരികെ നിറുത്തേണ്ടതിന്നു എനിക്കു അപേക്ഷിച്ചുകൂടാ എന്നു തോന്നുന്നുവോ?

54 how then may the Writings be fulfilled, that thus it behoveth to happen?'എന്നാൽ ഇങ്ങനെ സംഭവിക്കേണം എന്നുള്ള തിരുവെഴുത്തുകൾക്കു എങ്ങനെ നിവൃത്തിവരും” എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

55 In that hour said Jesus to the multitudes, `As against a robber ye did come forth, with swords and sticks, to take me! daily with you I was sitting teaching in the temple, and ye did not lay hold on me;ആ നാഴികയിൽ യേശു പുരുഷാരത്തോടു: “ഒരു കള്ളന്റെ നേരെ എന്നപോലെ നിങ്ങൾ എന്നെ പിടിപ്പാൻ വാളും വടിയുമായി വന്നിരിക്കുന്നു; ഞാൻ ദിവസേന ഉപദേശിച്ചുകൊണ്ടു ദൈവാലയത്തിൽ ഇരുന്നിട്ടും നിങ്ങൾ എന്നെ പിടിച്ചില്ല.

56 but all this hath come to pass, that the Writings of the prophets may be fulfilled;' then all the disciples, having left him, fled.എന്നാൽ ഇതു ഒക്കെയും പ്രവാചകന്മാരുടെ എഴുത്തുകൾ നിവൃത്തിയാകേണ്ടതിന്നു സംഭവിച്ചു” എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു. അപ്പോൾ ശിഷ്യന്മാർ എല്ലാവരും അവനെ വിട്ടു ഓടിപ്പോയി.

57 And those laying hold on Jesus led `him' away unto Caiaphas the chief priest, where the scribes and the elders were gathered together,യേശുവിനെ പിടിച്ചവരോ മഹാപുരോഹിതനായ കയ്യഫായുടെ അടുക്കൽ ശാസ്ത്രിമാരും മൂപ്പന്മാരും ഒന്നിച്ചുകൂടിയിരുന്നേടത്തു അവനെ കൊണ്ടുപോയി.

58 and Peter was following him afar off, unto the court of the chief priest, and having gone in within, he was sitting with the officers, to see the end.എന്നാൽ പത്രൊസ് ദൂരവെ മഹാപുരോഹിതന്റെ അരമനയോളം പിൻചെന്നു, അകത്തു കടന്നു അവസാനം കാണ്മാൻ സേവകന്മാരോടുകൂടി ഇരുന്നു

59 And the chief priests, and the elders, and all the council, were seeking false witness against Jesus, that they might put him to death,മഹാപുരോഹിതന്മാരും ന്യായാധിപസംഘം ഒക്കെയും യേശുവിനെ കൊല്ലേണ്ടതിന്നു അവന്റെ നേരെ കള്ളസ്സാക്ഷ്യം അന്വേഷിച്ചു;

60 and they did not find; and many false witnesses having come near, they did not find; and at last two false witnesses having come near,കള്ളസ്സാക്ഷികൾ പലരും വന്നിട്ടും പറ്റിയില്ല.

61 said, `This one said, I am able to throw down the sanctuary of God, and after three days to build it.'ഒടുവിൽ രണ്ടുപേർ വന്നു: ദൈവമന്ദിരം പൊളിച്ചു മൂന്നു ദിവസംകൊണ്ടു വീണ്ടും പണിവാൻ എനിക്കു കഴിയും എന്നു ഇവൻ പറഞ്ഞു എന്നു ബോധിപ്പിച്ചു.

62 And the chief priest having stood up, said to him, `Nothing thou dost answer! what do these witness against thee?മഹാപുരോഹിതൻ എഴുന്നേറ്റു അവനോടു: നീ ഒരു ഉത്തരവും പറയുന്നില്ലയോ? ഇവർ നിന്റെ നേരെ സാക്ഷ്യം പറയുന്നതു എന്തു എന്നു ചോദിച്ചു.

63 and Jesus was silent. And the chief priest answering said to him, `I adjure thee, by the living God, that thou mayest say to us, if thou art the Christ -- the Son of God.'യേശുവോ മിണ്ടാതിരുന്നു. മഹാപുരോഹിതൻ പിന്നെയും അവനോടു: നീ ദൈവപുത്രനായ ക്രിസ്തുതന്നേയോ? പറക എന്നു ഞാൻ ജീവനുള്ള ദൈവത്തെക്കൊണ്ടു നിന്നോടു ആണയിട്ടു ചോദിക്കുന്നു എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

64 Jesus saith to him, `Thou hast said; nevertheless I say to you, hereafter ye shall see the Son of Man sitting on the right hand of the power, and coming upon the clouds, of the heaven.'യേശു അവനോടു: “ഞാൻ ആകുന്നു; ഇനി മനുഷ്യപുത്രൻ സർവ്വശക്തന്റെ വലത്തുഭാഗത്തു ഇരിക്കുന്നതും ആകാശമേഘങ്ങളെ വാഹനമാക്കി വരുന്നതും നിങ്ങൾ കാണും എന്നു ഞാൻ പറയുന്നു” എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

65 Then the chief priest rent his garments, saying, -- `He hath spoken evil; what need have we yet of witnesses? lo, now ye heard his evil speaking;ഉടനെ മഹാപുരോഹിതൻ വസ്ത്രം കീറി: ഇവൻ ദൈവദൂഷണം പറഞ്ഞു; ഇനി സാക്ഷികളെക്കൊണ്ടു നമുക്കു എന്തു ആവശ്യം? നിങ്ങൾ ഇപ്പോൾ ദൈവദൂഷണം കേട്ടുവല്ലോ:

66 what think ye?' and they answering said, `He is worthy of death.'നിങ്ങൾക്കു എന്തു തോന്നുന്നു എന്നു ചോദിച്ചതിന്നു: അവൻ മരണയോഗ്യൻ എന്നു അവർ ഉത്തരം പറഞ്ഞു.

67 Then did they spit in his face and buffet him, and others did slap,അപ്പോൾ അവർ അവന്റെ മുഖത്തു തുപ്പി, അവനെ മുഷ്ടിചുരുട്ടി കുത്തി, ചിലർ അവനെ കന്നത്തടിച്ചു:

68 saying, `Declare to us, O Christ, who he is that struck thee?'ഹേ, ക്രിസ്തുവേ, നിന്നെ തല്ലിയതു ആർ എന്നു ഞങ്ങളോടു പ്രവചിക്ക എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

69 And Peter without was sitting in the court, and there came near to him a certain maid, saying, `And thou wast with Jesus of Galilee!'എന്നാൽ പത്രൊസ് പുറത്തു നടുമുറ്റത്തു ഇരുന്നു. അവന്റെ അടുക്കൽ ഒരു വേലക്കാരത്തി വന്നു: നീയും ഗലീലക്കാരനായ യേശുവിനോടുകൂടെ ആയിരുന്നുവല്ലോ എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

70 And he denied before all, saying, `I have not known what thou sayest.'അതിന്നു അവൻ: നീ പറയുന്നതു എനിക്കു തിരിയുന്നില്ല എന്നു എല്ലാവരും കേൾക്കെ തള്ളിപ്പറഞ്ഞു.

71 And he having gone forth to the porch, another female saw him, and saith to those there, `And this one was with Jesus of Nazareth;'പിന്നെ അവൻ പടിപ്പുരയിലേക്കു പുറപ്പെടുമ്പോൾ മറ്റൊരുത്തി അവനെ കണ്ടു അവിടെയുള്ളവരോടു: ഇവനും നസറായനായ യേശുവിനോടു കൂടെയായിരുന്നു എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു

72 and again did he deny with an oath -- `I have not known the man.'ആ മനുഷ്യനെ ഞാൻ അറിയുന്നില്ല എന്നു അവൻ രണ്ടാമതും ആണയോടെ തള്ളിപ്പറഞ്ഞു.

73 And after a little those standing near having come, said to Peter, `Truly thou also art of them, for even thy speech doth make thee manifest.'അല്പനേരം കഴിഞ്ഞിട്ടു അവിടെ നിന്നവർ അടുത്തുവന്നു പത്രൊസിനോടു: നീയും അവരുടെ കൂട്ടത്തിൽ ഉള്ളവൻ സത്യം; നിന്റെ ഉച്ചാരണവും നിന്നെ വെളിവാക്കുന്നുവല്ലോ എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

74 Then began he to anathematise, and to swear -- `I have not known the man;' and immediately did a cock crow,അപ്പോൾ അവൻ: ആ മനുഷ്യനെ ഞാൻ അറിയുന്നില്ല എന്നു പ്രാകുവാനും ആണയിടുവാനും തുടങ്ങി; ഉടനെ കോഴി കൂകി.

75 and Peter remembered the saying of Jesus, he having said to him -- `Before cock-crowing, thrice thou wilt deny me;' and having gone without, he did weep bitterly.എന്നാറെ: “കോഴി കൂകുമുമ്പേ നീ മൂന്നു വട്ടം എന്നെ തള്ളിപ്പറയും” എന്നു യേശു പറഞ്ഞ വാക്കു പത്രൊസ് ഓർത്തു പുറത്തു പോയി അതി ദുഃഖത്തോടെ കരഞ്ഞു.
