Luke 18 - BBE (Malayalam)

1 And he made a story for them, the point of which was that men were to go on making prayer and not get tired;“മടുത്തുപോകാതെ എപ്പോഴും പ്രാർത്ഥിക്കേണം” എന്നുള്ളതിന്നു അവൻ അവരോടു ഒരുപമ പറഞ്ഞതു:

2 Saying, There was a judge in a certain town, who had no fear of God or respect for man:ദൈവത്തെ ഭയവും മനുഷ്യനെ ശങ്കയുമില്ലാത്ത ഒരു ന്യായാധിപൻ ഒരു പട്ടണത്തിൽ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു.

3 And there was a widow in that town, and she kept on coming to him and saying, Give me my right against the man who has done me wrong.ആ പട്ടണത്തിൽ ഒരു വിധവയും ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു. അവൾ അവന്റെ അടുക്കൽ ചെന്നു: എന്റെ പ്രതിയോഗിയോടു പ്രതിക്രിയ നടത്തി രക്ഷിക്കേണമേ എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

4 And for a time he would not: but later, he said to himself, Though I have no fear of God or respect for man,അവന്നു കുറേ കാലത്തേക്കു മനസ്സില്ലായിരുന്നു; പിന്നെ അവൻ: എനിക്കു ദൈവത്തെ ഭയവും മനുഷ്യനെ ശങ്കയുമില്ല

5 Because this widow is a trouble to me, I will give her her right; for if not, I will be completely tired out by her frequent coming.എങ്കിലും വിധവ എന്നെ അസഹ്യമാക്കുന്നതുകൊണ്ടു ഞാൻ അവളെ പ്രതിക്രിയ നടത്തി രക്ഷിക്കും; അല്ലെങ്കിൽ അവൾ ഒടുവിൽ വന്നു എന്നെ മുഖത്തടിക്കും എന്നു ഉള്ളുകൊണ്ടു പറഞ്ഞു.

6 And the Lord said, Give ear to the words of the evil judge.അനീതിയുള്ള ന്യായാധിപൻ പറയുന്നതു കേൾപ്പിൻ.

7 And will not God do right in the cause of his saints, whose cries come day and night to his ears, though he is long in doing it?ദൈവമോ രാപ്പകൽ തന്നോടു നിലവിളിക്കുന്ന തന്റെ വൃതന്മാരുടെ കാര്യത്തിൽ ദീർഘക്ഷമയുള്ളവൻ ആയാലും അവരെ പ്രതിക്രിയ നടത്തി രക്ഷിക്കയില്ലയോ?

8 I say to you that he will quickly do right in their cause. But when the Son of man comes, will there be any faith on earth?വേഗത്തിൽ അവരെ പ്രതിക്രിയ നടത്തി രക്ഷിക്കും എന്നു ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളോടു പറയുന്നു. എന്നാൽ മനുഷ്യപുത്രൻ വരുമ്പോൾ അവൻ ഭൂമിയിൽ വിശ്വാസം കണ്ടെത്തുമോ ” എന്നു കർത്താവു പറഞ്ഞു.

9 And he made this story for some people who were certain that they were good, and had a low opinion of others:തങ്ങൾ നീതിമാന്മാർ എന്നു ഉറെച്ചു മറ്റുള്ളവരെ ധിക്കരിക്കുന്ന ചിലരെക്കുറിച്ചു അവൻ ഒരു ഉപമ പറഞ്ഞതെന്തെന്നാൽ:

10 Two men went up to the Temple for prayer; one a Pharisee, and the other a tax-farmer.രണ്ടു മനുഷ്യർ പ്രാർത്ഥിപ്പാൻ ദൈവാലയത്തിൽ പോയി; ഒരുത്തൻ പരീശൻ, മറ്റവൻ ചുങ്കക്കാരൻ.

11 The Pharisee, taking up his position, said to himself these words: God, I give you praise because I am not like other men, who take more than their right, who are evil-doers, who are untrue to their wives, or even like this tax-farmer.പരീശൻ നിന്നുകൊണ്ടു തന്നോടു തന്നെ: ദൈവമേ, പിടിച്ചുപറിക്കാർ, നീതികെട്ടവർ, വ്യഭിചാരികൾ മുതലായ ശേഷം മനുഷ്യരെപ്പോലെയോ ഈ ചുങ്കക്കാരനെപ്പോലെയോ ഞാൻ അല്ലായ്കയാൽ നിന്നെ വാഴ്ത്തുന്നു.

12 Twice in the week I go without food; I give a tenth of all I have.ആഴ്ചയിൽ രണ്ടുവട്ടം ഉപവസിക്കുന്നു; നേടുന്നതിൽ ഒക്കെയും പതാരം കൊടുത്തുവരുന്നു; എന്നിങ്ങനെ പ്രാർത്ഥിച്ചു.

13 The tax-farmer, on the other hand, keeping far away, and not lifting up even his eyes to heaven, made signs of grief and said, God, have mercy on me, a sinner.ചുങ്കക്കാരനോ ദൂരത്തു നിന്നുകൊണ്ടു സ്വർഗ്ഗത്തേക്കു നോക്കുവാൻപോലും തുനിയാതെ മാറത്തടിച്ചു: ദൈവമേ, പാപിയായ എന്നോടു കരുണയുണ്ടാകേണമേ എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

14 I say to you, This man went back to his house with God's approval, and not the other: for everyone who makes himself high will be made low and whoever makes himself low will be made high.അവൻ നീതീകരിക്കപ്പെട്ടവനായി വീട്ടിലേക്കു പോയി; മറ്റവൻ അങ്ങനെയല്ല. തന്നെത്താൻ ഉയർത്തുന്നവൻ എല്ലാം താഴ്ത്തപ്പെടും; തന്നെത്താൻ താഴ്ത്തുന്നവൻ എല്ലാം ഉയർത്തപ്പെടും” എന്നു ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളോടു പറയുന്നു.

15 And they took their children to him, so that he might put his hands on them: but when the disciples saw it, they said sharp words to themഅവൻ തൊടേണ്ടതിന്നു ചിലർ ശിശുക്കളെയും അവന്റെ അടുക്കൽ കൊണ്ടുവന്നു; ശിഷ്യന്മാർ അതുകണ്ടു അവരെ ശാസിച്ചു.

16 But Jesus sent for them, saying, Let the children come to me, and do not keep them away, for of such is the kingdom of heaven.യേശുവോ അവരെ അരികത്തു വിളിച്ചു: “പൈതങ്ങളെ എന്റെ അടുക്കൽ വരുവാൻ വിടുവിൻ; അവരെ തടുക്കരുതു; ദൈവരാജ്യം ഇങ്ങനെയുള്ളവരുടേതു ആകുന്നു.

17 Truly I say to you, Whoever does not put himself under the kingdom of God like a little child, will not come into it at all.ദൈവരാജ്യത്തെ ശിശുഎന്നപോലെ കൈക്കൊള്ളാത്തവൻ ആരും ഒരുനാളും അതിൽ കടക്കയില്ല എന്നു ഞാൻ സത്യമായിട്ടു നിങ്ങളോടു പറയുന്നു” എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

18 And a certain ruler put a question to him, saying, Good Master, what have I to do so that I may have eternal life?ഒരു പ്രമാണി അവനോടു: നല്ല ഗുരോ, ഞാൻ നിത്യജീവനെ അവകാശമാക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു എന്തു ചെയ്യേണം എന്നു ചോദിച്ചു.

19 And Jesus said to him, Why do you say that I am good? No one is good, but only God.അതിന്നു യേശു: “എന്നെ നല്ലവൻ എന്നു പറയുന്നതു എന്തു? ദൈവം ഒരുവനല്ലാതെ നല്ലവൻ ആരും ഇല്ല. വ്യഭിചാരം ചെയ്യരുതു:

20 You have knowledge of what the law says: Do not be untrue to your wife, Do not put anyone to death, Do not take what is not yours, Do not give false witness, Give honour to your father and mother.കുല ചെയ്യരുതു; മോഷ്ടിക്കരുതു; കള്ളസ്സാക്ഷ്യം പറയരുതു; നിന്റെ അപ്പനെയും അമ്മയെയും ബഹുമാനിക്ക എന്നീ കല്പനകളെ നീ അറിയുന്നുവല്ലോ ” എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

21 And he said, All these things I have done from the time when I was a boy.ഇവ ഒക്കെയും ഞാൻ ചെറുപ്പംമുതൽ കാത്തുകൊണ്ടിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു അവൻ പറഞ്ഞതു കേട്ടിട്ടു

22 And Jesus, hearing it, said to him, One thing you still have need of; get money for your goods, and give it away to the poor, and you will have wealth in heaven; and come after me.യേശു: “ഇനി ഒരു കുറവു നിനക്കുണ്ടു; നിനക്കുള്ളതൊക്കെയും വിറ്റു ദരിദ്രന്മാർക്കു പകുത്തുകൊടുക്ക; എന്നാൽ സ്വർഗ്ഗത്തിൽ നിനക്കു നിക്ഷേപം ഉണ്ടാകും; പിന്നെ വന്നു എന്നെ അനുഗമിക്ക” എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

23 But at these words he became very sad, for he had great wealth.അവൻ എത്രയും ധനവാനാകകൊണ്ടു ഇതു കേട്ടിട്ടു അതിദുഃഖതിനായിത്തീർന്നു.

24 And Jesus, looking at him, said, How hard it is for those who have wealth to get into the kingdom of God!യേശു അവനെ കണ്ടിട്ടു: “സമ്പത്തുള്ളവർ ദൈവരാജ്യത്തിൽ കടക്കുന്നതു എത്ര പ്രയാസം!

25 It is simpler for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a man who has much money to come into the kingdom of God.ധനവാൻ ദൈവരാജ്യത്തിൽ കടക്കുന്നതിനെക്കാൾ ഒട്ടകം സൂചിക്കുഴയൂടെ കടക്കുന്നതു എളുപ്പം” എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

26 And those who were present said, Then who may have salvation?ഇതു കേട്ടവർ: എന്നാൽ രക്ഷിക്കപ്പെടുവാൻ ആർക്കു കഴിയും എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

27 But he said, Things which are not possible with man are possible with God.അതിന്നു അവൻ: “മനുഷ്യരാൽ അസാദ്ധ്യമായതു ദൈവത്താൽ സാദ്ധ്യമാകുന്നു” എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

28 And Peter said, See, we have given up what is ours to come after you.ഇതാ ഞങ്ങൾ സ്വന്തമായതു വിട്ടു നിന്നെ അനുഗമിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു പത്രൊസ് പറഞ്ഞു.

29 And he said to them, Truly I say to you, There is no man who has given up house or wife or brothers or father or mother or children, because of the kingdom of God,യേശു അവരോടു: “ദൈവരാജ്യം നിമിത്തം വീടോ ഭാര്യയെയോ സഹോദരന്മാരെയോ അമ്മയപ്പന്മാരെയോ മക്കളെയോ വിട്ടുകളഞ്ഞിട്ടു

30 Who will not get much more in this time, and in the world to come, eternal life.ഈ കാലത്തിൽ തന്നേ പല മടങ്ങായും വരുവാനുള്ള ലോകത്തിൽ നിത്യജീവനെയും പ്രാപിക്കാത്തവൻ ആരും ഇല്ല എന്നു ഞാൻ സത്യമായിട്ടു നിങ്ങളാടു പറയുന്നു” എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

31 And he took with him the twelve and said to them, Now we are going up to Jerusalem, and all the things which were said by the prophets will be done to the Son of man.അനന്തരം അവൻ പന്തിരുവരെ കൂട്ടിക്കൊണ്ടു അവരോടു: “ഇതാ നാം യെരൂശലേമിലേക്കു പോകുന്നു; മനുഷ്യപുത്രനെക്കുറിച്ചു പ്രവാചകന്മാർ എഴുതിയിരിക്കുന്നതു എല്ലാം നിവൃത്തിയാകും.

32 For he will be given up to the Gentiles, and will be made sport of and put to shame:അവനെ ജാതികൾക്കു ഏല്പിച്ചുകൊടുക്കയും അവർ അവനെ പരിഹസിച്ചു അവമാനിച്ചു തുപ്പി തല്ലീട്ടു കൊല്ലുകയും

33 And he will be given cruel blows and put to death, and on the third day he will come back to life.മൂന്നാം നാൾ അവൻ ഉയിർത്തെഴുന്നേൽക്കയും ചെയ്യും” എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

34 But they did not take in the sense of any of these words, and what he said was not clear to them, and their minds were not able to see it.അവരോ ഇതു ഒന്നും ഗ്രഹിച്ചില്ല; ഈ വാക്കു അവർക്കു മറവായിരുന്നു; പറഞ്ഞതു അവർ തിരിച്ചറിഞ്ഞതുമില്ല.

35 And it came about that when he got near Jericho, a certain blind man was seated by the side of the road, making requests for money from those who went by.അവൻ യെരീഹോവിന്നു അടുത്തപ്പോൾ ഒരു കുരുടൻ ഇരന്നുകൊണ്ടു വഴിയരികെ ഇരുന്നിരുന്നു.

36 And hearing the sound of a great number of people going by, he said, What is this?പുരുഷാരം കടന്നു പോകുന്നതു കേട്ടു: ഇതെന്തു എന്നു അവൻ ചോദിച്ചു.

37 And they said to him, Jesus of Nazareth is going by.നസറായനായ യേശു കടന്നുപോകുന്നു എന്നു അവർ അവനോടു അറിയിച്ചു.

38 And he said in a loud voice, Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me.അപ്പോൾ അവൻ: യേശുവേ, ദാവീദുപുത്രാ, എന്നോടു കരുണ തോന്നേണമേ എന്നു നിലവിളിച്ചു.

39 And those who were in front made protests and said to him, Be quiet: but he said all the more, O Son of David, have mercy on me.മുൻനടക്കുന്നവർ അവനെ മിണ്ടാതിരിപ്പാൻ ശാസിച്ചു; അവനോ: ദിവീദുപുത്രാ എന്നോടു കരുണ തോന്നേണമേ എന്നു ഏറ്റവും അധികം നിലവിളിച്ചു.

40 And Jesus, stopping, gave orders that he was to come to him, and when he came near, he said to him,യേശു നിന്നു, അവനെ തന്റെ അടുക്കൽ കൊണ്ടുവരുവാൻ കല്പിച്ചു.

41 What would you have me do for you? And he said, Lord, that I may be able to see again.അവൻ അടുക്കെ വന്നപ്പോൾ: “ഞാൻ നിനക്കു എന്തു ചെയ്യേണം എന്നു ചോദിച്ചു”. കർത്താവേ, എനിക്കു കാഴ്ച കിട്ടേണം എന്നു അവൻ പറഞ്ഞു.

42 And Jesus said, See again: your faith has made you well.യേശു അവനോടു: “കാഴ്ച പ്രാപിക്ക; നിന്റെ വിശ്വാസം നിന്നെ രക്ഷിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു” എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

43 And straight away he was able to see, and he went after him, giving glory to God; and all the people when they saw it gave praise to God.ക്ഷണത്തിൽ അവൻ കാഴ്ച പ്രാപിച്ചു ദൈവത്തെ മഹത്വീകരിച്ചുംകൊണ്ടു അവനെ അനുഗമിച്ചു; ജനം എല്ലാം കണ്ടിട്ടു ദൈവത്തിന്നു പുകഴ്ച കൊടുത്തു.
