കർത്താവു ശത്രുവെപ്പോലെ ആയി, യിസ്രായേലിനെ മുടിച്ചുകളഞ്ഞു; അവളുടെ അരമനകളെ ഒക്കെയും മുടിച്ചു, അവളുടെ കോട്ടകളെ നശിപ്പിച്ചുകളഞ്ഞു; യെഹൂദാപുത്രിക്കു ദുഃഖവും വിലാപവും വർദ്ധിപ്പിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.

all כָּל kōl kole
her palaces: אַרְמְנוֹתֶ֔יהָ ʾarmôn ar-MONE
he hath destroyed שִׁחֵ֖ת šāḥat sha-HAHT
his strong holds, מִבְצָרָ֑יו mibṣār meev-TSAHR
and hath increased וַיֶּ֙רֶב֙ rābâ ra-VA
in the daughter בְּבַת bat baht
of Judah יְהוּדָ֔ה yĕhûdâ yeh-hoo-DA
mourning תַּאֲנִיָּ֖ה taʾăniyyâ ta-uh-nee-YA
and lamentation. וַאֲנִיָּֽה׃ ʾăniyyâ uh-nee-YA
