രാത്രിയിൽ അവൾ കരഞ്ഞുകൊണ്ടിരിക്കുന്നു. അവളുടെ കവിൾത്തടങ്ങളിൽ കണ്ണുനീർ കാണുന്നു; അവളുടെ സകലപ്രിയന്മാരിലും അവളെ ആശ്വസിപ്പിപ്പാൻ ആരുമില്ല; അവളുടെ സ്നേഹിതന്മാരൊക്കെയും അവൾക്കു ശത്രുക്കളായി ദ്രോഹം ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നു.

her cheeks:	לֶֽחֱיָ֔הּ	lĕḥî	leh-HEE
she hath none	אֵֽין	ʾayin	ah-YEEN
	לָ֥הּ
to comfort	מְנַחֵ֖ם	nāḥam	na-HAHM
among all	מִכָּל	kōl	kole
her lovers	אֹהֲבֶ֑יהָ	ʾāhab	ah-HAHV
all	כָּל	kōl	kole
her friends	רֵעֶ֙יהָ֙	rēaʿ	RAY-ah
have dealt treacherously	בָּ֣גְדוּ	bāgad	ba-ɡAHD
	בָ֔הּ
with her, they are become	הָ֥יוּ	hāyâ	ha-YA
	לָ֖הּ
her enemies.	לְאֹיְבִֽים׃	ʾōyēb	oh-YAVE
