Judges 14:9
അതു അവൻ കയ്യിൽ എടുത്തു തിന്നുംകൊണ്ടു നടന്നു, അപ്പന്റെയും അമ്മയുടെയും അടുക്കൽ ചെന്നു അവർക്കും കൊടുത്തു അവരും തിന്നു; എന്നാൽ തേൻ ഒരു സിംഹത്തിന്റെ ഉടലിൽനിന്നു എടുത്തു എന്നു അവൻ അവരോടു പറഞ്ഞില്ല.

| eating, | וְאָכֹ֔ל | wĕʾākōl | veh-ah-HOLE |
| came and | וַיֵּ֙לֶךְ֙ | wayyēlek | va-YAY-lek |
| to | אֶל | ʾel | el |
| his father | אָבִ֣יו | ʾābîw | ah-VEEOO |
| mother, and | וְאֶל | wĕʾel | veh-EL |
| and he gave | אִמּ֔וֹ | ʾimmô | EE-moh |
| eat: did they and them, | וַיִּתֵּ֥ן | wayyittēn | va-yee-TANE |
| but he told | לָהֶ֖ם | lāhem | la-HEM |
| not | וַיֹּאכֵ֑לוּ | wayyōʾkēlû | va-yoh-HAY-loo |
| them that | וְלֹֽא | wĕlōʾ | veh-LOH |
| taken had he | הִגִּ֣יד | higgîd | hee-ɡEED |
| the honey | לָהֶ֔ם | lāhem | la-HEM |
| carcase the of out | כִּ֛י | kî | kee |
