പിറ്റെന്നാൾ പുലർന്നപ്പോൾ ദൈവം ഒരു പുഴുവിനെ കല്പിച്ചാക്കി; അതു ആവണക്കു കുത്തിക്കളഞ്ഞു, അതു വാടിപ്പോയി.

when the morning הַשַּׁ֖חַר šaḥar sha-HAHR
the next day, לַֽמָּחֳרָ֑ת moḥŏrāt moh-hoh-RAHT
and it smote וַתַּ֥ךְ nākâ na-HA
אֶת ʾēt ate
the gourd הַקִּֽיקָי֖וֹן qîqāyôn kee-ka-YONE
that it withered. וַיִּיבָֽשׁ׃ yābēš ya-VAYSH
