John 3 - WEB (Malayalam)

1 Now there was a man of the Pharisees named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews.പരീശന്മാരുടെ കൂട്ടത്തിൽ യെഹൂദന്മാരുടെ ഒരു പ്രമാണിയായി നിക്കോദേമൊസ് എന്നു പേരുള്ളോരു മനുഷ്യൻ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു.

2 The same came to him by night, and said to him, "Rabbi, we know that you are a teacher come from God, for no one can do these signs that you do, unless God is with him."അവൻ രാത്രിയിൽ അവന്റെ അടുക്കൽ വന്നു അവനോടു: റബ്ബീ, നീ ദൈവത്തിന്റെ അടുക്കൽ നിന്നു ഉപദേഷ്ടാവായി വന്നിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു ഞങ്ങൾ അറിയുന്നു; ദൈവം തന്നോടു കൂടെ ഇല്ലെങ്കിൽ നീ ചെയ്യുന്ന ഈ അടയാളങ്ങളെ ചെയ്‍വാൻ ആർക്കും കഴികയില്ല എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

3 Jesus answered him, "Most assuredly, I tell you, unless one is born anew,{The word translated "anew" here and in John 3:7 (anothen) also means "again" and "from above".} he can't see the Kingdom of God."യേശു അവനോടു: “ആമേൻ, ആമേൻ, ഞാൻ നിന്നോടു പറയുന്നു; പുതുതായി ജനിച്ചില്ല എങ്കിൽ ദൈവരാജ്യം കാണ്മാൻ ആർക്കും കഴിയകയില്ല ” എന്നു ഉത്തരം പറഞ്ഞു.

4 Nicodemus said to him, "How can a man be born when he is old? Can he enter a second time into his mother's womb, and be born?"നിക്കോദെമൊസ് അവനോടു: മനുഷ്യൻ വൃദ്ധനായശേഷം ജനിക്കുന്നതു എങ്ങനെ? രണ്ടാമതും അമ്മയുടെ ഉദരത്തിൽ കടന്നു ജനിക്കാമോ എന്നു ചോദിച്ചു.

5 Jesus answered, "Most assuredly I tell you, unless one is born of water and spirit, he can't enter into the Kingdom of God!അതിന്നു യേശു: “ആമേൻ, ആമേൻ, ഞാൻ നിന്നോടു പറയുന്നു: വെള്ളത്താലും ആത്മാവിനാലും ജനിച്ചില്ല എങ്കിൽ ദൈവരാജ്യത്തിൽ കടപ്പാൻ ആർക്കും കഴികയില്ല.

6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh. That which is born of the Spirit is spirit.ജഡത്താൽ ജനിച്ചതു ജഡം ആകുന്നു; ആത്മാവിനാൽ ജനിച്ചതു ആത്മാവു ആകുന്നു.

7 Don't marvel that I said to you, 'You must be born anew.'നിങ്ങൾ പുതുതായി ജനിക്കേണം എന്നു ഞാൻ നിന്നോടു പറകയാൽ ആശ്ചര്യപ്പെടരുതു.

8 The wind{The same Greek word (pneuma) means wind, breath, and spirit.} blows where it wants to, and you hear its sound, but don't know where it comes from and where it is going. So is everyone who is born of the Spirit."കാറ്റു ഇഷ്ടമുള്ളേടത്തു ഊതുന്നു; അതിന്റെ ശബ്ദം നീ കേൾക്കുന്നു; എങ്കിലും അതു എവിടെനിന്നു വരുന്നു എന്നും എവിടേക്കു പോകുന്നു എന്നും അറിയുന്നില്ല; ആത്മാവിനാൽ ജനിച്ചവൻ എല്ലാം അതുപോലെ ആകുന്നു” എന്നു ഉത്തരം പറഞ്ഞു.

9 Nicodemus answered him, "How can these things be?"നിക്കോദേമൊസ് അവനോടു: ഇതു എങ്ങനെ സംഭവിക്കും എന്നു ചോദിച്ചു.

10 Jesus answered him, "Are you the teacher of Israel, and don't understand these things?യേശു അവനോടു ഉത്തരം പറഞ്ഞതു: “നീ യിസ്രായേലിന്റെ ഉപദേഷ്ടാവായിരുന്നിട്ടും ഇതു അറിയുന്നില്ലയോ?

11 Most assuredly I tell you, we speak that which we know, and testify of that which we have seen, and you don't receive our witness.ആമേൻ, ആമേൻ, ഞാൻ നിന്നോടു പറയുന്നു: ഞങ്ങൾ അറിയുന്നതു പ്രസ്താവിക്കയും കണ്ടതു സാക്ഷീകരിക്കയും ചെയ്യുന്നു: ഞങ്ങളുടെ സാക്ഷ്യം നിങ്ങൾ കൈക്കൊള്ളുന്നില്ലതാനും.

12 If I told you earthly things and you don't believe, how will you believe if I tell you heavenly things?ഭൂമിയിലുള്ളതു നിങ്ങളോടു പറഞ്ഞിട്ടു നിങ്ങൾ വിശ്വസിക്കുന്നില്ലെങ്കിൽ സ്വർഗ്ഗത്തിലുള്ളതു നിങ്ങളോടു പറഞ്ഞാൽ എങ്ങനെ വിശ്വസിക്കും?

13 No one has ascended into heaven, but he who descended out of heaven, the Son of Man, who is in heaven.സ്വർഗ്ഗത്തിൽ നിന്നു ഇറങ്ങിവന്ന (വനായി സ്വർഗ്ഗത്തിൽ ഇരിക്കുന്നവനായ) മനുഷ്യപുത്രൻ അല്ലാതെ ആരും സ്വർഗ്ഗത്തിൽ കയറീട്ടില്ല.

14 As Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of Man be lifted up,മോശെ മരുഭൂമിയിൽ സർപ്പത്തെ ഉയർത്തിയതുപോലെ മനുഷ്യപുത്രനെയും ഉയർത്തേണ്ടതാകുന്നു.

15 that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life.അവനിൽ വിശ്വസിക്കുന്ന ഏവനും നിത്യജീവൻ പ്രാപിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു തന്നേ.

16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life.തന്റെ ഏകജാതനായ പുത്രനിൽ വിശ്വസിക്കുന്ന ഏവനും നശിച്ചുപോകാതെ നിത്യജീവൻ പ്രാപിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു ദൈവം അവനെ നല്കുവാൻ തക്കവണ്ണം ലോകത്തെ സ്നേഹിച്ചു.

17 For God didn't send his Son into the world to judge the world, but that the world should be saved through him.ദൈവം തന്റെ പുത്രനെ ലോകത്തിൽ അയച്ചതു ലോകത്തെ വിധിപ്പാനല്ല ലോകം അവനാൽ രക്ഷിക്കപ്പെടുവാനത്രേ.

18 He who believes in him is not judged. He who doesn't believe has been judged already, because he has not believed in the name of the one and only Son of God.അവനിൽ വിശ്വസിക്കുന്നവന്നു ന്യായവിധി ഇല്ല; വിശ്വസിക്കാത്തവന്നു ദൈവത്തിന്റെ ഏകജതാനായ പുത്രന്റെ നാമത്തിൽ വിശ്വസിക്കായ്കയാൽ ന്യായവിധി വന്നുകഴിഞ്ഞു.

19 This is the judgment, that the light has come into the world, and men loved the darkness rather than the light; for their works were evil.ന്യായവിധി എന്നതോ, വെളിച്ചം ലോകത്തിൽ വന്നിട്ടും മനുഷ്യരുടെ പ്രവൃത്തി ദോഷമുള്ളതു ആകയാൽ അവർ വെളിച്ചത്തെക്കാൾ ഇരുളിനെ സ്നേഹിച്ചതു തന്നേ.

20 For everyone who does evil hates the light, and doesn't come to the light, lest his works would be exposed.തിന്മ പ്രവർത്തിക്കുന്നവൻ എല്ലാം വെളിച്ചത്തെ പകെക്കുന്നു; തന്റെ പ്രവൃത്തിക്കു ആക്ഷേപം വരാതിരിപ്പാൻ വെളിച്ചത്തിങ്കലേക്കു വരുന്നതുമില്ല.

21 But he who does the truth comes to the light, that his works may be revealed, that they have been done in God."സത്യം പ്രവർത്തിക്കുന്നവനോ, തന്റെ പ്രവൃത്തി ദൈവത്തിൽ ചെയ്തിരിക്കയാൽ അതു വെളിപ്പെടേണ്ടതിന്നു വെളിച്ചത്തിങ്കലേക്കു വരുന്നു.

22 After these things, Jesus came with his disciples into the land of Judea. He stayed there with them, and baptized.അതിന്റെ ശേഷം യേശു ശിഷ്യന്മാരുമായി യെഹൂദ്യദേശത്തു വന്നു അവരോടുകൂടെ സ്നാനം കഴിപ്പിച്ചുകൊണ്ടിരുന്നു.

23 John also was baptizing in Enon near Salim, because there was much water there. They came, and were baptized.യോഹന്നാനും ശലേമിന്നു അരികത്തു ഐനോനിൽ സ്നാനം കഴിപ്പിച്ചുകൊണ്ടിരുന്നു; അവിടെ വളരെ വെള്ളം ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു; ആളുകൾ വന്നു സ്നാനം ഏറ്റു.

24 For John was not yet thrown into prison.അന്നു യോഹന്നാനെ തടവിൽ ആക്കിയിരുന്നില്ല.

25 There arose therefore a questioning on the part of John's disciples with some Jews about purification.യോഹന്നാന്റെ ശിഷ്യന്മാരിൽ ചിലർക്കു ഒരു യെഹൂദനുമായി ശുദ്ധീകരണത്തെക്കുറിച്ചു ഒരു വാദം ഉണ്ടായി;

26 They came to John, and said to him, "Rabbi, he who was with you beyond the Jordan, to whom you have testified, behold, the same baptizes, and everyone is coming to him."അവർ യോഹന്നാന്റെ അടുക്കൽവന്നു അവനോടു: റബ്ബീ, യോർദ്ദാന്നക്കരെ നിന്നോടുകൂടെ ഇരുന്നവൻ, നീ സാക്ഷീകരിച്ചുട്ടുള്ളവൻ തന്നേ, ഇതാ, സ്നാനം കഴിപ്പിക്കുന്നു; എല്ലാവരും അവന്റെ അടുക്കൽ ചെല്ലുന്നു എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

27 John answered, "A man can receive nothing, unless it has been given him from heaven.അതിന്നു യോഹന്നാൻ: സ്വർഗ്ഗത്തിൽ നിന്നു കൊടുത്തിട്ടല്ലാതെ മനുഷ്യന്നു ഒന്നും ലഭിപ്പാൻ കഴികയില്ല.

28 You yourselves testify that I said, 'I am not the Christ,' but, 'I have been sent before him.'ഞാൻ ക്രിസ്തു അല്ല, അവന്നു മുമ്പായി അയക്കപ്പെട്ടവനത്രേ എന്നു ഞാൻ പറഞ്ഞതിന്നു നിങ്ങൾ തന്നേ എനിക്കു സാക്ഷികൾ ആകുന്നു;

29 He who has the bride is the bridegroom; but the friend of the bridegroom, who stands and hears him, rejoices greatly because of the bridegroom's voice. This, my joy, therefore is made full.മണവാട്ടി ഉള്ളവൻ മണവാളൻ ആകുന്നു; മണവാളന്റെ സ്നേഹിതനോ നിന്നു മണവാളന്റെ സ്വരം കേട്ടിട്ടു അത്യന്തം സന്തോഷിക്കുന്നു; ഈ എന്റെ സന്തോഷം പൂർത്തിയായിരിക്കുന്നു.

30 He must increase, but I must decrease.അവൻ വളരേണം, ഞാനോ കുറയേണം എന്നു ഉത്തരം പറഞ്ഞു.

31 He who comes from above is above all. He who is from the Earth belongs to the Earth, and speaks of the Earth. He who comes from heaven is above all.മേലിൽ നിന്നു വരുന്നവൻ എല്ലാവർക്കും മീതെയുള്ളവൻ; ഭൂമിയിൽ നിന്നുള്ളവൻ ഭൌമികൻ ആകുന്നു; ഭൌമികമായതു സംസാരിക്കുന്നു; സ്വർഗ്ഗത്തിൽനിന്നു വരുന്നവൻ എല്ലാവർക്കും മീതെയുള്ളവനായി താൻ കാൺകെയും കേൾക്കയും ചെയ്തതു സാക്ഷീകരിക്കുന്നു;

32 What he has seen and heard, of that he testifies; and no one receives his witness.അവന്റെ സാക്ഷ്യം ആരും കൈക്കൊള്ളുന്നില്ല.

33 He who has received his witness has set his seal to this, that God is true.അവന്റെ സാക്ഷ്യം കൈക്കൊള്ളുന്നവൻ ദൈവം സത്യവാൻ എന്നുള്ളതിന്നു മുദ്രയിടുന്നു.

34 For he whom God has sent speaks the words of God; for God gives the Spirit without measure.ദൈവം അയച്ചവൻ ദൈവത്തിന്റെ വചനം പ്രസ്താവിക്കുന്നു; അവൻ ആത്മാവിനെ അളവുകൂടാതെയല്ലോ കൊടുക്കുന്നതു.

35 The Father loves the Son, and has given all things into his hand.പിതാവു പുത്രനെ സ്നേഹിക്കുന്നു; സകലവും അവന്റെ കയ്യിൽ കൊടുത്തുമിരിക്കുന്നു.

36 One who believes in the Son has eternal life, but one who disobeys{The same word can be translated "disobeys" or "disbelieves" in this context.} the Son won't see life, but the wrath of God remains on him."പുത്രനിൽ വിശ്വസിക്കുന്നവന്നു നിത്യജീവൻ ഉണ്ടു; പുത്രനെ അനുസരിക്കാത്തവനോ ജീവനെ കാണുകയില്ല; ദൈവക്രോധം അവന്റെമേൽ വസിക്കുന്നതേയുള്ള.
