Job 31 - ASV (Malayalam)

1 I made a covenant with mine eyes; How then should I look upon a virgin?ഞാൻ എന്റെ കണ്ണുമായി ഒരു നിയമം ചെയ്തു; പിന്നെ ഞാൻ ഒരു കന്യകയെ നോക്കുന്നതെങ്ങനെ?

2 For what is the portion from God above, And the heritage from the Almighty on high?എന്നാൽ മേലിൽനിന്നു ദൈവം നല്കുന്ന ഓഹരിയും ഉയരത്തിൽനിന്നു സർവ്വശക്തൻ തരുന്ന അവകാശവും എന്തു?

3 Is it not calamity to the unrighteous, And disaster to the workers of iniquity?നീതികെട്ടവന്നു അപായവും ദുഷ്‌പ്രവൃത്തിക്കാർക്കു വിപത്തുമല്ലയോ?

4 Doth not he see my ways, And number all my steps?എന്റെ വഴികളെ അവൻ കാണുന്നില്ലയോ? എന്റെ കാലടികളെയൊക്കെയും എണ്ണുന്നില്ലയോ?

5 If I have walked with falsehood, And my foot hath hasted to deceit;ഞാൻ കപടത്തിൽ നടന്നുവെങ്കിൽ, എന്റെ കാൽ വഞ്ചനെക്കു ഓടിയെങ്കിൽ -

6 (Let me be weighed in an even balance, That God may know mine integrity);ദൈവം എന്റെ പരമാർത്ഥത അറിയേണ്ടതിന്നു ഒത്ത ത്രാസിൽ എന്നെ തൂക്കിനോക്കുമാറാകട്ടെ -

7 If my step hath turned out of the way, And my heart walked after mine eyes, And if any spot hath cleaved to my hands:എന്റെ കാലടി വഴിവിട്ടു മാറിയെങ്കിൽ, എന്റെ ഹൃദയം എന്റെ കണ്ണിന്നു പിന്തുടർന്നുവെങ്കിൽ, വല്ല കറയും എന്റെ കൈക്കു പറ്റിയെങ്കിൽ,

8 Then let me sow, and let another eat; Yea, let the produce of my field be rooted out.ഞാൻ വിതെച്ചതു മറ്റൊരുത്തൻ തിന്നട്ടെ; എന്റെ സന്തതിക്കു മൂലനാശം ഭവിക്കട്ടെ.

9 If my heart hath been enticed unto a woman, And I have laid wait at my neighbor's door;എന്റെ ഹൃദയം ഒരു സ്ത്രീയിങ്കൽ ഭ്രമിച്ചുപോയെങ്കിൽ, കൂട്ടുകാരന്റെ വാതിൽക്കൽ ഞാൻ പതിയിരുന്നു എങ്കിൽ,

10 Then let my wife grind unto another, And let others bow down upon her.എന്റെ ഭാര്യ മറ്റൊരുത്തന്നു മാവു പൊടിക്കട്ടെ; അന്യർ അവളുടെ മേൽ കുനിയട്ടെ.

11 For that were a heinous crime; Yea, it were an iniquity to be punished by the judges:അതു മഹാപാതകമല്ലോ, ന്യായാധിപന്മാർ ശിക്ഷിക്കേണ്ടുന്ന കുറ്റമത്രേ;

12 For it is a fire that consumeth unto Destruction, And would root out all mine increase.അതു നരകപര്യന്തം ദഹിപ്പിക്കുന്ന തീയാകുന്നു; അതു എന്റെ അനുഭവം ഒക്കെയും നിർമ്മൂലമാക്കും.

13 If I have despised the cause of my man-servant or of my maid-servant, When they contended with me;എന്റെ ദാസനോ ദാസിയോ എന്നോടു വാദിച്ചിട്ടു ഞാൻ അവരുടെ ന്യായം തള്ളിക്കളഞ്ഞെങ്കിൽ,

14 What then shall I do when God riseth up? And when he visiteth, what shall I answer him?ദൈവം എഴുന്നേല്ക്കുമ്പോൾ ഞാൻ എന്തു ചെയ്യും? അവൻ സന്ദർശിക്കുമ്പോൾ ഞാൻ എന്തുത്തരം പറയും?

15 Did not he that made me in the womb make him? And did not one fashion us in the womb?ഗർഭത്തിൽ എന്നെ ഉരുവാക്കിയവനല്ലയോ അവനെയും ഉരുവാക്കിയതു? ഉദരത്തിൽ ഞങ്ങളെ നിർമ്മിച്ചതു ഒരുത്തനല്ലയോ?

16 If I have withheld the poor from `their' desire, Or have caused the eyes of the widow to fail,ദരിദ്രന്മാരുടെ ആഗ്രഹം ഞാൻ മുടക്കിയെങ്കിൽ, വിധവയുടെ കണ്ണു ഞാൻ ക്ഷീണിപ്പിച്ചെങ്കിൽ,

17 Or have eaten my morsel alone, And the fatherless hath not eaten thereof;അനാഥന്നു അംശം കൊടുക്കാതെ ഞാൻ തനിച്ചു എന്റെ ആഹാരം കഴിച്ചെങ്കിൽ -

18 (Nay, from my youth he grew up with me as with a father, And her have I guided from my mother's womb);ബാല്യംമുതൽ ഞാൻ അപ്പൻ എന്നപോലെ അവനെ വളർത്തുകയും ജനിച്ചതുമുതൽ അവളെ പരിപാലിക്കയും ചെയ്തുവല്ലോ -

19 If I have seen any perish for want of clothing, Or that the needy had no covering;ഒരുത്തൻ വസ്ത്രമില്ലാതെ നശിച്ചുപോകുന്നതോ ദരിദ്രൻ പുതപ്പില്ലാതെ ഇരിക്കുന്നതോ ഞാൻ കണ്ടിട്ടു

20 If his loins have not blessed me, And if he hath not been warmed with the fleece of my sheep;അവന്റെ അര എന്നെ അനുഗ്രഹിച്ചില്ലെങ്കിൽ, എന്റെ ആടുകളുടെ രോമംകൊണ്ടു അവന്നു കുളിർ മാറിയില്ലെങ്കിൽ,

21 If I have lifted up my hand against the fatherless, Because I saw my help in the gate:പട്ടണവാതിൽക്കൽ എനിക്കു സഹായം കണ്ടിട്ടു ഞാൻ അനാഥന്റെ നേരെ കയ്യോങ്ങിയെങ്കിൽ,

22 Then let my shoulder fall from the shoulder-blade, And mine arm be broken from the bone.എന്റെ ഭുജം തോൾപലകയിൽനിന്നു വീഴട്ടെ; എന്റെ കയ്യുടെ ഏപ്പു വിട്ടുപോകട്ടെ.

23 For calamity from God is a terror to me, And by reason of his majesty I can do nothing.ദൈവം അയച്ച വിപത്തു എനിക്കു ഭയങ്കരമായിരുന്നു; അവന്റെ ഓന്നത്യംനിമിത്തം എനിക്കു ആവതില്ലാതെയായി.

24 If I have made gold my hope, And have said to the fine gold, `Thou art' my confidence;ഞാൻ പൊന്നു എന്റെ ശരണമാക്കിയെങ്കിൽ, തങ്കത്തോടു നീ എന്റെ ആശ്രയം എന്നു പറഞ്ഞുവെങ്കിൽ,

25 If I have rejoiced because my wealth was great, And because my hand had gotten much;എന്റെ ധനം വളരെയായിരിക്കകൊണ്ടും എന്റെ കൈ അധികം സമ്പാദിച്ചിരിക്കകൊണ്ടും ഞാൻ സന്തോഷിച്ചുവെങ്കിൽ,

26 If I have beheld the sun when it shined, Or the moon walking in brightness,സൂര്യൻ പ്രകാശിക്കുന്നതോ ചന്ദ്രൻ ശോഭയോടെ ഗമിക്കുന്നതോ കണ്ടിട്ടു

27 And my heart hath been secretly enticed, And my mouth hath kissed my hand:എന്റെ ഹൃദയം ഗൂഢമായി വശീകരിക്കപ്പെടുകയും എന്റെ വായി എന്റെ കയ്യെ ചുംബിക്കയും ചെയ്തുവെങ്കിൽ,

28 This also were an iniquity to be punished by the judges; For I should have denied the God that is above.അതു ന്യായാധിപന്മാർ ശിക്ഷിക്കേണ്ടുന്ന കുറ്റം അത്രെ; അതിനാൽ ഉയരത്തിലെ ദൈവത്തെ ഞാൻ നിഷേധിച്ചു എന്നു വരുമല്ലോ.

29 If I have rejoiced at the destruction of him that hated me, Or lifted up myself when evil found him;എന്റെ വൈരിയുടെ നാശത്തിങ്കൽ ഞാൻ സന്തോഷിക്കയോ, അവന്റെ അനർത്ഥത്തിങ്കൽ ഞാൻ നിഗളിക്കയോ ചെയ്തു എങ്കിൽ--

30 (Yea, I have not suffered by mouth to sin By asking his life with a curse);അവന്റെ പ്രാണനാശം ഇച്ഛിച്ചു ഞാൻ ശാപം ചൊല്ലി പാപം ചെയ്‍വാൻ എന്റെ വായെ ഒരിക്കലും സമ്മതിച്ചിട്ടില്ല--

31 If the men of my tent have not said, Who can find one that hath not been filled with his meat?അവന്റെ മേശെക്കൽ മാംസം തിന്നു തൃപ്തി വരാത്തവർ ആർ

32 (The sojourner hath not lodged in the street; But I have opened my doors to the traveller);എന്നിങ്ങനെ എന്റെ കൂടാരത്തിലെ ആളുകൾ പറഞ്ഞില്ലെങ്കിൽ -- പരദേശി തെരുവീഥിയിൽ രാപ്പാർക്കേണ്ടിവന്നിട്ടില്ല; വഴിപോക്കന്നു ഞാൻ എന്റെ വാതിൽ തുറന്നുകൊടുത്തു--

33 If like Adam I have covered my transgressions, By hiding mine iniquity in my bosom,ഞാൻ ആദാമിനെപ്പോലെ എന്റെ ലംഘനം മൂടി എന്റെ അകൃത്യം മാർവ്വിടത്തു മറെച്ചുവെച്ചെങ്കിൽ,

34 Because I feared the great multitude, And the contempt of families terrified me, So that I kept silence, and went not out of the door-മഹാപുരുഷാരത്തെ ശങ്കിക്കകൊണ്ടും വംശക്കാരുടെ നിന്ദ എന്നെ ഭ്രമിപ്പിക്കകൊണ്ടും ഞാൻ വാതിലിന്നു പുറത്തിറങ്ങാതെ മിണ്ടാതിരുന്നു എങ്കിൽ--

35 Oh that I had one to hear me! (Lo, here is my signature, let the Almighty answer me); And `that I had' the indictment which mine adversary hath written!അയ്യോ, എന്റെ സങ്കടം കേൾക്കുന്നവൻ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നുവെങ്കിൽ കൊള്ളായിരുന്നു!- ഇതാ, എന്റെ ഒപ്പു! സർവ്വശക്തൻ എനിക്കുത്തരം നല്കുമാറാകട്ടെ. എന്റെ പ്രതിയോഗി എഴുതിയ അന്യായ രേഖ കിട്ടിയെങ്കിൽ കൊള്ളായിരുന്നു!

36 Surely I would carry it upon my shoulder; I would bind it unto me as a crown:അതു ഞാൻ എന്റെ ചുമലിൽ വഹിക്കുമായിരുന്നു; ഒരു മകുടമായിട്ടു അതു അണിയുമായിരുന്നു.

37 I would declare unto him the number of my steps; As a prince would I go near unto him.എന്റെ കാലടികളുടെ എണ്ണം ഞാൻ അവനെ ബോധിപ്പിക്കും; ഒരു പ്രഭു എന്നപോലെ ഞാൻ അവനോടു അടുക്കും.

38 If my land crieth out against me, And the furrows thereof weep together;എന്റെ നിലം എന്റെ നേരെ നിലവിളിക്കയോ അതിന്റെ ഉഴച്ചാലുകൾ ഒന്നിച്ചു കരകയോ ചെയ്തുവെങ്കിൽ,

39 If I have eaten the fruits thereof without money, Or have caused the owners thereof to lose their life:വിലകൊടുക്കാതെ ഞാൻ അതിന്റെ വിളവു തിന്നുകയോ അതിന്റെ ഉടമക്കാരുടെ പ്രാണൻ പോകുവാൻ സംഗതിയാക്കുകയോ ചെയ്തു എങ്കിൽ,

40 Let thistles grow instead of wheat, And cockle instead of barley. The words of Job are ended.കോതമ്പിന്നു പകരം കാരമുള്ളും യവത്തിന്നു പകരം കളയും മുളെച്ചുവളരട്ടെ. (ഇയ്യോബിന്റെ വചനങ്ങൾ അവസാനിച്ചു.)
