וַיֹּאמְר֨וּ Therefore va-yoh-meh-ROO הַשָּׂרִ֜ים the ha-sa-REEM אֶל princes el הַמֶּ֗לֶךְ unto ha-MEH-lek י֣וּמַת king, YOO-maht נָא֮ the na אֶת death: et הָאִ֣ישׁ to ha-EESH הַזֶּה֒ put ha-ZEH כִּֽי be kee עַל thee, al כֵּ֡ן beseech kane הֽוּא We hoo מְרַפֵּ֡א let meh-ra-PAY אֶת et יְדֵי֩ man yeh-DAY אַנְשֵׁ֨י this an-SHAY הַמִּלְחָמָ֜ה for ha-meel-ha-MA הַֽנִּשְׁאָרִ֣ים׀ ha-neesh-ah-REEM בָּעִ֣יר thus ba-EER הַזֹּ֗את he ha-ZOTE וְאֵת֙ weakeneth veh-ATE יְדֵ֣י yeh-DAY כָל the hahl הָעָ֔ם hands ha-AM לְדַבֵּ֣ר men leh-da-BARE אֲלֵיהֶ֔ם the uh-lay-HEM כַּדְּבָרִ֖ים of ka-deh-va-REEM הָאֵ֑לֶּה of ha-A-leh כִּ֣י׀ war kee הָאִ֣ישׁ remain ha-EESH הַזֶּ֗ה that ha-ZEH אֵינֶ֨נּוּ city, ay-NEH-noo דֹרֵ֧שׁ in doh-RAYSH לְשָׁל֛וֹם this leh-sha-LOME לָעָ֥ם and la-AM הַזֶּ֖ה the ha-ZEH כִּ֥י hands kee אִם all eem לְרָעָֽה׃ of leh-ra-AH
