അവരുടെ മക്കളെ ക്ഷാമത്തിന്നു ഏല്പിച്ചു, വാളിന്നു ഇരയാക്കേണമേ; അവരുടെ ഭാര്യമാർ മക്കളില്ലാത്തവരും വിധവമാരും ആയിത്തീരട്ടെ അവരുടെ പുരുഷന്മാർ മരണത്തിന്നു ഇരയാകട്ടെ; അവരുടെ യൌവനക്കാർ യുദ്ധത്തിൽ വാളിനാൽ പട്ടുപോകട്ടെ.

the force יְדֵי yād yahd
of the sword; חֶרֶב֒ ḥereb heh-REV
be וְתִֽהְיֶ֨נָה hāyâ ha-YA
and let their wives נְשֵׁיהֶ֤ם ʾiššâ ee-SHA
bereaved שַׁכֻּלוֹת֙ šakkûl sha-KOOL
of their children, and widows; וְאַלְמָנ֔וֹת ʾalmānâ al-ma-NA
and let their men וְאַ֨נְשֵׁיהֶ֔ם ʾîš eesh
be יִֽהְי֖וּ hāyâ ha-YA
put הֲרֻ֣גֵי hārag ha-RAHɡ
to death; מָ֑וֶת māwet ma-VET
their young men בַּח֣וּרֵיהֶ֔ם bāḥûr ba-HOOR
slain מֻכֵּי nākâ na-HA
by the sword חֶ֖רֶב ḥereb heh-REV
in battle. בַּמִּלְחָמָֽה׃ milḥāmâ meel-ha-MA
