എന്നാൽ അവർക്കു പകരം അവൻ എഴുന്നേല്പിച്ച പുത്രന്മാരെ യോശുവ പരിച്ഛേദന ചെയ്തു; അവരെ പ്രയാണത്തിൽ പരിച്ഛേദന ചെയ്യായ്കകൊണ്ടു അവർ അഗ്രചർമ്മികളായിരുന്നു.
