Exodus 21 - YLT (Malayalam)

1 `And these `are' the judgments which thou dost set before them:അവരുടെ മുമ്പാകെ നീ വെക്കേണ്ടുന്ന ന്യായങ്ങളാവിതു:

2 `When thou buyest a Hebrew servant -- six years he doth serve, and in the seventh he goeth out as a freeman for nought;ഒരു എബ്രായദാസനെ വിലെക്കു വാങ്ങിയാൽ ആറു സംവത്സരം സേവിച്ചിട്ടു ഏഴാം സംവത്സരത്തിൽ അവൻ ഒന്നും കൊടുക്കാതെ സ്വതന്ത്രനായി പൊയ്ക്കൊള്ളട്ടെ.

3 if by himself he cometh in, by himself he goeth out; if he `is' owner of a wife, then his wife hath gone out with him;ഏകനായി വന്നു എങ്കിൽ ഏകനായി പോകട്ടെ; അവന്നു ഭാര്യയുണ്ടായിരുന്നു എങ്കിൽ ഭാര്യയും അവനോടുകൂടെ പോകട്ടെ.

4 if his lord give to him a wife, and she hath borne to him sons or daughters -- the wife and her children are her lord's, and he goeth out by himself.അവന്റെ യജമാനൻ അവന്നു ഭാര്യയെ കൊടുക്കയും അവൾ അവന്നു പുത്രന്മാരെയോ പുത്രിമാരെയോ പ്രസവിക്കയും ചെയ്തിട്ടുണ്ടെങ്കിൽ ഭാര്യയും മക്കളും യജമാനന്നു ഇരിക്കേണം; അവൻ ഏകനായി പോകേണം.

5 `And if the servant really say: I have loved my lord, my wife, and my sons -- I do not go out free;എന്നാൽ ദാസൻ: ഞാൻ എന്റെ യജമാനനെയും എന്റെ ഭാര്യയെയും മക്കളെയും സ്നേഹിക്കുന്നു; ഞാൻ സ്വതന്ത്രനായി പോകയില്ല എന്നു തീർത്തു പറഞ്ഞാൽ

6 then hath his lord brought him nigh unto God, and hath brought him nigh unto the door, or unto the side-post, and his lord hath bored his ear with an awl, and he hath served him -- to the age.യജമാനൻ അവനെ ദൈവസന്നിധിയിൽ കൂട്ടിക്കൊണ്ടു ചെന്നു കതകിന്റെയോ കട്ടളക്കാലിന്റെയോ അടുക്കൽ നിറുത്തീട്ടു സൂചികൊണ്ടു അവന്റെ കാതു കുത്തി തുളക്കേണം; പിന്നെ അവൻ എന്നേക്കും അവന്നു ദാസനായിരിക്കേണം.

7 `And when a man selleth his daughter for a handmaid, she doth not go out according to the going out of the men-servants;ഒരുത്തൻ തന്റെ പുത്രിയെ ദാസിയായി വിറ്റാൽ അവൾ ദാസന്മാർ പോകുന്നതു പോലെ പോകരുതു.

8 if evil in the eyes of her lord, so that he hath not betrothed her, then he hath let her be ransomed; to a strange people he hath not power to sell her, in his dealing treacherously with her.അവളെ തനിക്കു സംബന്ധത്തിന്നു നിയമിച്ച യജമാനന്നു അവളെ ബോധിക്കാതിരുന്നാൽ അവളെ വീണ്ടെടുപ്പാൻ അവൻ അനുവദിക്കേണം; അവളെ ചതിച്ചതുകൊണ്ടു അന്യജാതിക്കു വിറ്റുകളവാൻ അവന്നു അധികാരമില്ല.

9 `And if to his son he betroth her, according to the right of daughters he doth to her.അവൻ അവളെ തന്റെ പുത്രന്നു നിയമിച്ചു എങ്കിൽ പുത്രിമാരുടെ ന്യായത്തിന്നു തക്കവണ്ണം അവളോടു പെരുമാറേണം.

10 `If another `woman' he take for him, her food, her covering, and her habitation, he doth not withdraw;അവൻ മറ്റൊരുത്തിയെ പരിഗ്രഹിച്ചാൽ ഇവളുടെ ഉപജീവനവും ഉടുപ്പും വിവാഹമുറയും കുറെക്കരുതു.

11 and if these three he do not to her, then she hath gone out for nought, without money.ഈ മൂന്നു കാര്യവും അവൻ അവൾക്കു ചെയ്യാതിരുന്നാൽ അവളെ പണം വാങ്ങാതെ വെറുതെ വിട്ടയക്കേണം.

12 `He who smiteth a man so that he hath died, is certainly put to death;ഒരു മനുഷ്യനെ അടിച്ചുകൊല്ലുന്നവൻ മരണശിക്ഷ അനുഭവിക്കേണം.

13 as to him who hath not laid wait, and God hath brought to his hand, I have even set for thee a place whither he doth flee.അവൻ കരുതിക്കൂട്ടാതെ അങ്ങനെ അവന്റെ കയ്യാൽ സംഭവിപ്പാൻ ദൈവം സംഗതിവരുത്തിയതായാൽ അവൻ ഓടിപ്പോകേണ്ടുന്ന സ്ഥലം ഞാൻ നിയമിക്കും.

14 `And when a man doth presume against his neighbour to slay him with subtilty, from Mine altar thou dost take him to die.എന്നാൽ ഒരുത്തൽ കരുതിക്കൂട്ടി കൂട്ടുകാരനെ ചതിച്ചു കൊന്നതെങ്കിൽ അവൻ മരിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു നീ അവനെ എന്റെ യാഗപീഠത്തിങ്കൽ നിന്നും പിടിച്ചു കൊണ്ടുപോകേണം.

15 `And he who smiteth his father or his mother is certainly put to death.തന്റെ അപ്പനെയോ അമ്മയെയോ അടിക്കുന്നവൻ മരണശിക്ഷ അനുഭവിക്കേണം.

16 `And he who stealeth a man, and hath sold him, and he hath been found in his hand, is certainly put to death.ഒരുത്തൻ ഒരാളെ മോഷ്ടിച്ചിട്ടു അവനെ വിൽക്കയാകട്ടെ അവന്റെ കൈവശം അവനെ കണ്ടുപിടിക്കയാകട്ടെ ചെയ്താൽ അവൻ മരണശിക്ഷ അനുഭവിക്കേണം.

17 `And he who is reviling his father or his mother is certainly put to death.തന്റെ അപ്പനെയോ അമ്മയെയോ ശപിക്കുന്നവൻ മരണശിക്ഷ അനുഭവിക്കേണം.

18 `And when men contend, and a man hath smitten his neighbour with a stone, or with the fist, and he die not, but hath fallen on the bed;മനുഷ്യർ തമ്മിൽ ശണ്ഠകൂടീട്ടു ഒരുത്തൻ മറ്റവനെ കല്ലുകൊണ്ടോ മുഷ്ടികൊണ്ടോ കുത്തിയതിനാൽ അവൻ മരിച്ചുപോകാതെ കിടപ്പിലാകയും

19 if he rise, and hath gone up and down without on his staff, then hath the smiter been acquitted; only his cessation he giveth, and he is thoroughly healed.പിന്നെയും എഴുന്നേറ്റു വടി ഊന്നി വെളിയിൽ നടക്കയും ചെയ്താൽ കുത്തിയവനെ ശിക്ഷിക്കരുതു; എങ്കിലും അവൻ അവന്റെ മിനക്കേടിന്നുവേണ്ടി കൊടുത്തു അവനെ നല്ലവണ്ണം ചികിത്സിപ്പിക്കേണം.

20 `And when a man smiteth his man-servant or his handmaid, with a rod, and he hath died under his hand -- he is certainly avenged;ഒരുത്തൻ തന്റെ ദാസനെയോ ദാസിയെയോ തൽക്ഷണം മരിച്ചുപോകത്തക്കവണ്ണം വടികൊണ്ടു അടിച്ചാൽ അവനെ നിശ്ചയമായി ശിക്ഷിക്കേണം.

21 only if he remain a day, or two days, he is not avenged, for he `is' his money.എങ്കിലും അവൻ ഒന്നു രണ്ടു ദിവസം ജീവിച്ചിരുന്നാൽ അവനെ ശിക്ഷിക്കരുതു; അവൻ അവന്റെ മുതലല്ലോ.

22 `And when men strive, and have smitten a pregnant woman, and her children have come out, and there is no mischief, he is certainly fined, as the husband of the woman doth lay upon him, and he hath given through the judges;മനുഷ്യർ തമ്മിൽ ശണ്ഠകൂടീട്ടു ഗർഭിണിയായ ഒരു സ്ത്രീയെ അടിച്ചതിനാൽ ഗർഭം അലസിയതല്ലാതെ അവൾക്കു മറ്റൊരു ദോഷവും വന്നില്ലെങ്കിൽ അടിച്ചവൻ ആ സ്ത്രീയുടെ ഭർത്താവു ചുമത്തുന്ന പിഴ കൊടുക്കേണം; ന്യായാധിപന്മാർ വിധിക്കുമ്പോലെ അവൻ കൊടുക്കേണം.

23 and if there is mischief, then thou hast given life for life,മറ്റു ദോഷം വന്നിട്ടുണ്ടെങ്കിൽ ജീവന്നു പകരം ജീവൻ കൊടുക്കേണം.

24 eye for eye, tooth for tooth, hand for hand, foot for foot,കണ്ണിന്നു പകരം കണ്ണു; പല്ലിന്നു പകരം പല്ലു; കൈക്കു പകരം കൈ; കാലിന്നു പകരം കാൽ;

25 burning for burning, wound for wound, stripe for stripe.പൊള്ളലിന്നു പകരം പൊള്ളൽ; മുറിവിന്നു പകരം മുറിവു; തിണർപ്പിന്നു പകരം തിണർപ്പു.

26 `And when a man smiteth the eye of his man-servant, or the eye of his handmaid, and hath destroyed it, as a freeman he doth send him away for his eye;ഒരുത്തൻ അടിച്ചു തന്റെ ദാസന്റെയോ ദാസിയുടെയോ കണ്ണു കളഞ്ഞാൽ അവൻ കണ്ണിന്നു പകരം അവനെ സ്വതന്ത്രനായി വിട്ടയക്കേണം.

27 and if a tooth of his man-servant or a tooth of his handmaid he knock out, as a freeman he doth send him away for his tooth.അവൻ തന്റെ ദാസന്റെയോ ദാസിയുടെയോ പല്ലുഅടിച്ചു തകർത്താൽ അവൻ പല്ലിന്നു പകരം അവനെ സ്വതന്ത്രനായി വിട്ടയക്കേണം.

28 `And when an ox doth gore man or woman, and they have died, the ox is certainly stoned, and his flesh is not eaten, and the owner of the ox `is' acquitted;ഒരു കാള ഒരു പുരുഷനെയോ സ്ത്രീയെയോ കുത്തിക്കൊന്നാൽ ആ കാളയെ കല്ലെറിഞ്ഞു കൊല്ലേണം; അതിന്റെ മാംസം തിന്നരുതു; കാളയുടെ ഉടമസ്ഥനോ കുറ്റമില്ലാത്തവൻ.

29 and if the ox is `one' accustomed to gore heretofore, and it hath been testified to its owner, and he doth not watch it, and it hath put to death a man or woman, the ox is stoned, and its owner also is put to death.എന്നാൽ ആ കാള മുമ്പെ തന്നേ കുത്തുന്നതായും ഉടമസ്ഥൻ അതു അറിഞ്ഞുമിരിക്കെ അവൻ അതിനെ സൂക്ഷിക്കായ്കകൊണ്ടു അതു ഒരു പുരുഷനെയോ സ്ത്രീയെയോ കൊന്നുകളഞ്ഞാൽ ആ കാളയെ കല്ലെറിഞ്ഞു കൊല്ലേണം; അതിന്റെ ഉടമസ്ഥനും മരണശിക്ഷ അനുഭവിക്കേണം.

30 `If atonement is laid upon him, then he hath given the ransom of his life, according to all that is laid upon him;ഉദ്ധാരണ ദ്രവ്യം അവന്റെ മോൽ ചുമത്തിയാൽ തന്റെ ജീവന്റെ വീണ്ടെടുപ്പിന്നായി തന്റെ മേൽ ചുമത്തിയതു ഒക്കെയും അവൻ കൊടുക്കേണം.

31 whether it gore a son or gore a daughter, according to this judgment it is done to him.അതു ഒരു ബാലനെ കുത്തിയാലും ഒരു ബാലയെ കുത്തിയാലും ഈ ന്യായപ്രകാരം അവനോടു ചെയ്യേണം.

32 `If the ox gore a man-servant or a handmaid, thirty silver shekels he doth give to their lord, and the ox is stoned.കാള ഒരു ദാസനെയോ ദാസിയെയോ കുത്തിയാൽ അവൻ അവരുടെ ഉടമസ്ഥന്നു മുപ്പതു ശേക്കെൽ വെള്ളി കൊടുക്കേണം; കാളയെ കൊന്നുകളകയും വേണം.

33 `And when a man doth open a pit, or when a man doth dig a pit, and doth not cover it, and an ox or ass hath fallen thither, --ഒരുത്തൻ ഒരു കുഴി തുറന്നുവെക്കുകയോ കുഴി കുഴിച്ചു അതിനെ മൂടാതിരിക്കയോ ചെയ്തിട്ടു അതിൽ ഒരു കാളയോ കഴുതയോ വീണാൽ,

34 the owner of the pit doth repay, money he doth give back to its owner, and the dead is his.കുഴിയുടെ ഉടമസ്ഥൻ വലികൊടുത്തു അതിന്റെ യജമാനന്നു തൃപ്തിവരുത്തേണം; എന്നാൽ ചത്തുപോയതു അവന്നുള്ളതായിരിക്കേണം.

35 `And when a man's ox doth smite the ox of his neighbour, and it hath died, then they have sold the living ox, and halved its money, and also the dead one they do halve;ഒരുത്തന്റെ കാള മറ്റൊരുത്തന്റെ കാളയെ കുത്തീട്ടു അതു ചത്തുപോയാൽ അവർ ജീവനോടിരിക്കുന്ന കാളയെ വിറ്റു അതിന്റെ വില പകുത്തെടുക്കേണം; ചത്തുപോയതിനെയും പകുത്തെടുക്കേണം.

36 or, it hath been known that the ox is `one' accustomed to gore heretofore, and its owner doth not watch it, he certainly repayeth ox for ox, and the dead is his.അല്ലെങ്കിൽ ആ കാള മുമ്പെ തന്നേ കുത്തുന്നതു എന്നു അറിഞ്ഞിട്ടും ഉടമസ്ഥൻ അതിനെ സൂക്ഷിക്കാതിരുന്നു എങ്കിൽ അവൻ കാളെക്കു പകരം കാളയെ കൊടുക്കേണം; എന്നാൽ ചത്തുപോയതു അവന്നുള്ളതായിരിക്കേണം.
