ശേമും യാഫെത്തും ഒരു വസ്ത്രം എടുത്തു, ഇരുവരുടെയും തോളിൽ ഇട്ടു വിമുഖരായി ചെന്നു പിതാവിന്റെ നഗ്നത മറെച്ചു; അവരുടെ മുഖം തിരിഞ്ഞിരുന്നതുകൊണ്ടു അവർ പിതാവിന്റെ നഗ്നത കണ്ടില്ല.

their shoulders, שְׁכֶ֣ם šĕkem sheh-HEM
both שְׁנֵיהֶ֔ם šĕnayim sheh-na-YEEM
and went וַיֵּֽלְכוּ֙ hālak ha-LAHK
backward, אֲחֹ֣רַנִּ֔ית ʾăḥōrannît uh-hoh-ra-NEET
and covered וַיְכַסּ֕וּ kāsâ ka-SA
אֵ֖ת ʾēt ate
the nakedness עֶרְוַ֣ת ʿerwâ er-VA
of their father; אֲבִיהֶ֑ם ʾāb av
and their faces וּפְנֵיהֶם֙ pānîm pa-NEEM
backward, אֲחֹ֣רַנִּ֔ית ʾăḥōrannît uh-hoh-ra-NEET
nakedness. וְעֶרְוַ֥ת ʿerwâ er-VA
their father's אֲבִיהֶ֖ם ʾāb av
not לֹ֥א lōʾ loh
and they saw רָאֽוּ׃ rāʾâ ra-AH
