Genesis 23 - YLT (Malayalam)

1 And the life of Sarah is a hundred and twenty and seven years -- years of the life of Sarah;സാറെക്കു നൂറ്റിരുപത്തേഴു വയസ്സു ആയിരുന്നു: ഇതു സാറയുടെ ആയുഷ്കാലം.

2 and Sarah dieth in Kirjath-Arba, which `is' Hebron, in the land of Caanan, and Abraham goeth in to mourn for Sarah, and to bewail her.സാറാ കനാൻ ദേശത്തു ഹെബ്രോൻ എന്ന കിർയ്യത്തർബ്ബയിൽവെച്ചു മരിച്ചു; അബ്രാഹാം സാറയെക്കുറിച്ചു വിലപിച്ചു കരവാൻ വന്നു.

3 And Abraham riseth up from the presence of his dead, and speaketh unto the sons of Heth, saying,പിന്നെ അബ്രാഹാം മരിച്ചവളുടെ അടുക്കൽ നിന്നു എഴുന്നേറ്റു ഹിത്യരോടു സംസാരിച്ചു:

4 `A sojourner and a settler I `am' with you; give to me a possession of a burying-place with you, and I bury my dead from before me.'ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളുടെ ഇടയിൽ പരദേശിയും വന്നു പാർക്കുന്നവനും ആകുന്നു; ഞാൻ എന്റെ മരിച്ചവളെ കൊണ്ടുപോയി അടക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു എനിക്കു നിങ്ങളുടെ ഇടയിൽ ഒരു ശ്മശാനഭൂമി അവകാശമായി തരുവിൻ എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

5 And the sons of Heth answer Abraham, saying to him,ഹിത്യർ അബ്രാഹാമിനോടു: യജമാനനേ, കേട്ടാലും:

6 `Hear us, my lord; a prince of God `art' thou in our midst; in the choice of our burying-places bury thy dead: none of us his burying-place doth withhold from thee, from burying thy dead.'നീ ഞങ്ങളുടെ ഇടയിൽ ദൈവത്തിന്റെ ഒരു പ്രഭുവാകുന്നു; ഞങ്ങളുടെ ശ്മശാനസ്ഥലങ്ങളിൽവെച്ചു വിശേഷമായതിൽ മരിച്ചവളെ അടക്കിക്കൊൾക; മരിച്ചവളെ അടക്കുവാൻ ഞങ്ങളിൽ ആരും ശ്മശാനസ്ഥലം നിനക്കു തരാതിരിക്കയില്ല എന്നു ഉത്തരം പറഞ്ഞു.

7 And Abraham riseth and boweth himself to the people of the land, to the sons of Heth,അപ്പോൾ അബ്രാഹാം എഴുന്നേറ്റു ആ ദേശക്കാരായ ഹിത്യരെ നമസ്കരിച്ചു അവരോടു സംസാരിച്ചു:

8 and he speaketh with them, saying, `If it is your desire to bury my dead from before me, hear me, and meet for me with Ephron, son of Zoar;എന്റെ മരിച്ചവളെ കൊണ്ടുപോയി അടക്കുവാൻ സമ്മതമുണ്ടെങ്കിൽ നിങ്ങൾ എന്റെ അപേക്ഷ കേട്ടു എനിക്കുവേണ്ടി സോഹരിന്റെ മകനായ എഫ്രോനോടു,

9 and he giveth to me the cave of Machpelah, which he hath, which `is' in the extremity of his field; for full money doth he give it to me, in your midst, for a possession of a burying-place.'അവൻ തന്റെ നിലത്തിന്റെ അറുതിയിൽ തനിക്കുള്ള മക്ക്പേലാ എന്ന ഗുഹ എനിക്കു തരേണ്ടതിന്നു അപേക്ഷിപ്പിൻ; നിങ്ങളുടെ ഇടയിൽ ശ്മശാനാവകാശമായിട്ടു അവൻ അതിനെ പിടിപ്പതു വിലെക്കു തരേണം എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

10 And Ephron is sitting in the midst of the sons of Heth, and Ephron the Hittite answereth Abraham in the ears of the sons of Heth, of all those entering the gate of his city, saying,എന്നാൽ എഫ്രോൻ ഹിത്യരുടെ നടുവിൽ ഇരിക്കയായിരുന്നു; ഹിത്യനായ എഫ്രോൻ തന്റെ നഗരവാസികളായ ഹിത്യർ എല്ലാവരും കേൾക്കെ അബ്രാഹാമിനോടു:

11 `Nay, my lord, hear me: the field I have given to thee, and the cave that `is' in it, to thee I have given it; before the eyes of the sons of my people I have given it to thee -- bury thy dead.'അങ്ങനെയല്ല, യജമാനനേ, കേൾക്കേണമേ; നിലം ഞാൻ നിനക്കു തരുന്നു; അതിലെ ഗുഹയും നിനക്കു തരുന്നു; എന്റെ സ്വജനം കാൺകെ തരുന്നു; മരിച്ചവളെ അടക്കം ചെയ്തുകൊണ്ടാലും എന്നു ഉത്തരം പറഞ്ഞു.

12 And Abraham boweth himself before the people of the land,അപ്പോൾ അബ്രാഹാം ദേശത്തിലെ ജനത്തെ നമസ്കരിച്ചു.

13 and speaketh unto Ephron in the ears of the people of the land, saying, `Only -- if thou wouldst hear me -- I have given the money of the field -- accept from me, and I bury my dead there.'ദേശത്തിലെ ജനം കേൾക്കെ അവൻ എഫ്രോനോടു: ദയ ചെയ്തു കേൾക്കേണം; നിലത്തിന്റെ വില ഞാൻ നിനക്കു തരുന്നതു എന്നോടു വാങ്ങേണം; എന്നാൽ ഞാൻ മരിച്ചവളെ അവിടെ അടക്കം ചെയ്യും എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

14 And Ephron answereth Abraham, saying to him,എഫ്രോൻ അബ്രാഹാമിനോടു: യജമാനനേ, കേട്ടാലും:

15 `My lord, hear me: the land -- four hundred shekels of silver; between me and thee, what `is' it? -- thy dead bury.'നാനൂറു ശേക്കെൽ വെള്ളി വിലയുള്ള ഒരു ഭൂമി, അതു എനിക്കും നിനക്കും എന്തുള്ളു? മരിച്ചവളെ അടക്കം ചെയ്തുകൊൾക എന്നു ഉത്തരം പറഞ്ഞു.

16 And Abraham hearkeneth unto Ephron, and Abraham weigheth to Ephron the silver which he hath spoken of in the ears of the sons of Heth, four hundred silver shekels, passing with the merchant.അബ്രാഹാം എഫ്രോന്റെ വാക്കു സമ്മതിച്ചു ഹിത്യർ കേൾക്കെ എഫ്രോൻ പറഞ്ഞതുപോലെ കച്ചവടക്കാർക്കു നടപ്പുള്ള വെള്ളിശേക്കെൽ നാനൂറു അവന്നു തൂക്കിക്കൊടുത്തു.

17 And established are the field of Ephron, which `is' in Machpelah, which `is' before Mamre, the field and the cave which `is' in it, and all the trees which `are' in the field, which `are' in all its border round about,ഇങ്ങനെ മമ്രേക്കരികെ എഫ്രോന്നുള്ള മക്ക്പേലാനിലവും അതിലെ ഗുഹയും നിലത്തിന്റെ അതിർക്കകത്തുള്ള സകലവൃക്ഷങ്ങളും

18 to Abraham by purchase, before the eyes of the sons of Heth, among all entering the gate of his city.അവന്റെ നഗരവാസികളായ ഹിത്യരുടെ മുമ്പാകെ അബ്രാഹാമിന്നു അവകാശമായി ഉറെച്ചുകിട്ടി.

19 And after this hath Abraham buried Sarah his wife at the cave of the field of Machpelah before Mamre (which `is' Hebron), in the land of Canaan;അതിന്റെ ശേഷം അബ്രാഹാം തന്റെ ഭാര്യയായ സാറയെ കനാൻ ദേശത്തിലെ ഹെബ്രോൻ എന്ന മമ്രേക്കരികെയുള്ള മക്ക്പേലാനിലത്തിലെ ഗുഹയിൽ അടക്കം ചെയ്തു.

20 and established are the field, and the cave which `is' in it, to Abraham for a possession of a burying-place, from the sons of Heth.ഇങ്ങനെ ഹിത്യർ ആ നിലവും അതിലെ ഗുഹയും അബ്രാഹാമിന്നു ശ്മശാനാവകാശമായി ഉറപ്പിച്ചുകൊടുത്തു.
