Genesis 23:15
നാനൂറു ശേക്കെൽ വെള്ളി വിലയുള്ള ഒരു ഭൂമി, അതു എനിക്കും നിനക്കും എന്തുള്ളു? മരിച്ചവളെ അടക്കം ചെയ്തുകൊൾക എന്നു ഉത്തരം പറഞ്ഞു.

| hundred | מֵאֹ֧ת | mēʾōt | may-OTE |
| shekels | שֶֽׁקֶל | šeqel | SHEH-kel |
| silver; of | כֶּ֛סֶף | kesep | KEH-sef |
| what | בֵּינִ֥י | bênî | bay-NEE |
| is that | וּבֵֽינְךָ֖ | ûbênĕkā | oo-vay-neh-HA |
| betwixt | מַה | ma | ma |
| bury thee? and me | הִ֑וא | hiw | heev |
| therefore thy dead. | וְאֶת | wĕʾet | veh-ET |
| מֵֽתְךָ֖ | mētĕkā | may-teh-HA | |
| קְבֹֽר׃ | qĕbōr | keh-VORE |
