അപ്പോൾ അവൻ: നിന്റെ മകനെ, നീ സ്നേഹിക്കുന്ന നിന്റെ ഏകജാതനായ യിസ്ഹാക്കിനെ തന്നേ കൂട്ടിക്കൊണ്ടു മോരിയാദേശത്തു ചെന്നു, അവിടെ ഞാൻ നിന്നോടു കല്പിക്കുന്ന ഒരു മലയിൽ അവനെ ഹോമയാഗം കഴിക്ക എന്നു അരുളിച്ചെയ്തു.

Take	קַח	lāqaḥ	la-KAHK
now	נָ֠א	nāʾ	na
	אֶת	ʾēt	ate
thy son,	בִּנְךָ֙	bēn	bane
	אֶת	ʾēt	ate
thine only	יְחִֽידְךָ֤	yāḥîd	ya-HEED
whom	אֲשֶׁר	ʾăšer	uh-SHER
thou lovest,	אָהַ֙בְתָּ֙	ʾāhab	ah-HAHV
	אֶת	ʾēt	ate
Isaac,	יִצְחָ֔ק	yiṣḥāq	yeets-HAHK
and get thee	וְלֶךְ	hālak	ha-LAHK
	לְךָ֔
into	אֶל	ʾēl	ale
the land	אֶ֖רֶץ	ʾereṣ	eh-RETS
of Moriah;	הַמֹּֽרִיָּ֑ה	môriyyâ	moh-ree-YA
and offer him	וְהַֽעֲלֵ֤הוּ	ʿālâ	ah-LA
there	שָׁם֙	šām	shahm
for a burnt offering	לְעֹלָ֔ה	ʿōlâ	oh-LA
upon	עַ֚ל	ʿal	al
one	אַחַ֣ד	ʾeḥād	eh-HAHD
of the mountains	הֶֽהָרִ֔ים	har	hahr
which	אֲשֶׁ֖ר	ʾăšer	uh-SHER
I will tell	אֹמַ֥ר	ʾāmar	ah-MAHR
thee of.	אֵלֶֽיךָ׃	ʾēl	ale
