1 The word of Yahweh came again to me, saying,യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു എനിക്കുണ്ടായതെന്തെന്നാൽ:

2 Son of man, there were two women, the daughters of one mother:മനുഷ്യപുത്രാ, ഒരമ്മയുടെ മക്കളായ രണ്ടു സ്ത്രീകൾ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു.

3 and they played the prostitute in Egypt; they played the prostitute in their youth; there were their breasts pressed, and there was handled the bosom of their virginity.അവർ മിസ്രയീമിൽവെച്ചു പരസംഗംചെയ്തു; യൌവനത്തിൽ തന്നേ അവർ പരസംഗം ചെയ്തു; അവിടെ അവരുടെ മുല പിടിച്ചു അവരുടെ കന്യാകുചാഗ്രം ഞെക്കി.

4 The names of them were Oholah the elder, and Oholibah her sister: and they became mine, and they bore sons and daughters. As for their names, Samaria is Oholah, and Jerusalem Oholibah.അവരിൽ മൂത്തവൾക്കു ഒഹൊലാ എന്നും ഇളയവർക്കു ഒഹൊലീബാ എന്നു പേരായിരുന്നു; അവർ എനിക്കുള്ളവരായിരുന്നു പുത്രന്മാരെയും പുത്രിമാരെയും പ്രസവിച്ചു; അവരുടെ പേരോ ഒഹൊലാ എന്നതു ശമർയ്യയും ഒഹൊലീബാ എന്നതു യെരൂശലേമും ആകുന്നു.

5 Oholah played the prostitute when she was mine; and she doted on her lovers, on the Assyrians [her] neighbors,എന്നാൽ ഒഹൊലാ എന്നെ വിട്ടു പരസംഗം ചെയ്തു;

6 who were clothed with blue, governors and rulers, all of them desirable young men, horsemen riding on horses.അവൾ ധൂമ്രവസ്ത്രം ധരിച്ച ദേശാധിപതികളും സ്ഥാനാപതികളും ഒട്ടൊഴിയാതെ മനോഹരയുവാക്കളും കുതിരപ്പുറത്തു കയറി ഓടിക്കുന്നവരുമായ സമീപസ്ഥരായ അശ്ശൂർയ്യജാരന്മാരെ മോഹിച്ചു.

7 She bestowed her prostitution on them, the choicest men of Assyria all of them; and on whoever she doted, with all their idols she defiled herself.അശ്ശൂർയ്യശ്രേഷ്ഠന്മാരായവരോടു ഒക്കെയും തന്റെ വേശ്യാവിദ്യകളെ ചെലവഴിച്ചു, താൻ മോഹിച്ചുപോന്ന ഏവരുടെയും സകലവിഗ്രഹങ്ങളെക്കൊണ്ടും തന്നെത്താൻ മലിനയാക്കി.

8 Neither has she left her prostitution since [the days of] Egypt; for in her youth they lay with her, and they handled the bosom of her virginity; and they poured out their prostitution on her.മിസ്രയീമിൽനിന്നു കൊണ്ടുവന്ന തന്റെ വേശ്യാവൃത്തിയും അവൾ വിട്ടില്ല; അവർ അവളുടെ യൌവനത്തിൽ അവളോടുകൂടെ ശയിച്ചു, അവളുടെ കന്യാകുചാഗ്രം ഞെക്കി തങ്ങളുടെ പരസംഗം അവളുടെമേൽ ചൊരിഞ്ഞു.

9 Therefore I delivered her into the hand of her lovers, into the hand of the Assyrians, on whom she doted.അതുകൊണ്ടു ഞാൻ അവളെ അവളുടെ ജാരന്മാരുടെ കയ്യിൽ, അവൾ മോഹിച്ചിരുന്ന അശ്ശൂർയ്യരുടെ കയ്യിൽതന്നേ, ഏല്പിച്ചു.

10 These uncovered her nakedness; they took her sons and her daughters; and her they killed with the sword: and she became a byword among women; for they executed judgments on her.അവർ അവളുടെ നഗ്നത അനാവൃതമാക്കി, അവളുടെ പുത്രന്മാരെയും പുത്രിമാരെയും പിടിക്കയും അവളെ വാൾകൊണ്ടു കൊല്ലുകയും ചെയ്തു; അവർ അവളുടെമേൽ വിധി നടത്തിയതുകൊണ്ടു അവൾ സ്ത്രീകളുടെ ഇടയിൽ ഒരു നിന്ദാപാത്രമായിത്തീർന്നു.

11 Her sister Oholibah saw this, yet was she more corrupt in her doting than she, and in her prostitution which were more than the prostitution of her sister.എന്നാൽ അവളുടെ സഹോദരിയായ ഒഹൊലീബാ ഇതു കണ്ടിട്ടും തന്റെ കാമവികാരത്തിൽ അവളെക്കാളും തന്റെ വേശ്യാവൃത്തിയിൽ സഹോദരിയുടെ വേശ്യവൃത്തിയെക്കാളും അധികം വഷളത്വം പ്രവർത്തിച്ചു.

12 She doted on the Assyrians, governors and rulers, [her] neighbors, clothed most gorgeously, horsemen riding on horses, all of them desirable young men.മോടിയായി ഉടുത്തുചമഞ്ഞ ദേശാധിപതികളും സ്ഥാനാപതികളും കുതിരപ്പുറത്തു കയറി ഓടിക്കുന്നവരും ഒട്ടൊഴിയാതെ മനോഹരയുവാക്കളുമായ സമീപസ്ഥരായ അശ്ശൂർയ്യരെ മോഹിച്ചു,

13 I saw that she was defiled; they both took one way.അവളും തന്നെത്താൻ മലിനയാക്കി എന്നു ഞാൻ കണ്ടു; ഇരുവരും ഒരു വഴിയിൽ തന്നേ നടന്നു.

14 She increased her prostitution; for she saw men portrayed on the wall, the images of the Chaldeans portrayed with vermilion,അവൾ പിന്നെയും പരസംഗം ചെയ്തുകൊണ്ടിരുന്നു; ചായില്യംകൊണ്ടു എഴുതിയ കല്ദയരുടെ ചിത്രങ്ങളെ,

15 girded with girdles on their loins, with flowing turbans on their heads, all of them princes to look on, after the likeness of the Babylonians in Chaldea, the land of their birth.കല്ദയദേശം ജന്മഭൂമിയായുള്ള ബാബേൽക്കാരുടെ രൂപത്തിൽ അരെക്കു കച്ചകെട്ടി തലയിൽ തലപ്പാവു ചുറ്റി കാഴ്ചെക്കു ഒട്ടൊഴിയാതെ പ്രഭുക്കന്മാരായിരിക്കുന്ന പുരുഷന്മാരുടെ ചിത്രങ്ങളെ തന്നേ ചുവരിന്മേൽ വരെച്ചിരിക്കുന്നതു അവൾ കണ്ടു.

16 As soon as she saw them she doted on them, and sent messengers to them into Chaldea.കണ്ട ഉടനെ അവൾ അവരെ മോഹിച്ചു, കല്ദയദേശത്തിലേക്കു അവരുടെ അടുക്കൽ ദൂതന്മാരെ അയച്ചു.

17 The Babylonians came to her into the bed of love, and they defiled her with their prostitution, and she was polluted with them, and her soul was alienated from them.അങ്ങനെ ബാബേൽക്കാർ പ്രേമശയനത്തിന്നായി അവളുടെ അടുക്കൽ വന്നു പരസംഗംകൊണ്ടു അവളെ മലിനയാക്കി; അവൾ അവരാൽ മലിനയായ്തീർന്നു; പിന്നെ അവൾക്കു അവരോടു വെറുപ്പുതോന്നി.

18 So she uncovered her prostitution, and uncovered her nakedness: then my soul was alienated from her, like as my soul was alienated from her sister.ഇങ്ങനെ അവൾ തന്റെ പരസംഗം വെളിപ്പെടുത്തി തന്റെ നഗ്നത അനാവൃതമാക്കിയപ്പോൾ എനിക്കു അവളുടെ സഹോദരിയോടു വെറുപ്പു തോന്നിയതുപോലെ അവളോടും വെറുപ്പു തോന്നി.

19 Yet she multiplied her prostitution, remembering the days of her youth, in which she had played the prostitute in the land of Egypt.എന്നിട്ടും അവൾ മിസ്രയീംദേശത്തുവെച്ചു പരസംഗം ചെയ്ത തന്റെ യൌവനകാലം ഓർത്തു പരസംഗം വർദ്ധിപ്പിച്ചു.

20 She doted on their paramours, whose flesh is as the flesh of donkeys, and whose issue is like the issue of horses.കഴുതകളുടെ ലിംഗംപോലെ ലിംഗവും കുതിരകളുടെ ബീജസ്രവണംപോലെ ബീജസ്രവണവും ഉള്ള ജാരന്മാരെ അവൾ മോഹിച്ചു.

21 Thus you called to memory the lewdness of your youth, in the handling of your bosom by the Egyptians for the breasts of your youth.ഇങ്ങനെ നിന്റെ യൌവനസ്തനങ്ങൾ നിമിത്തം മിസ്രയീമ്യർ നിന്റെ കുജാഗ്രങ്ങളെ ഞെക്കിയതായ നിന്റെ യൌവനത്തിലെ ദുഷ്കർമ്മം നീ തിരിഞ്ഞുനോക്കി.

22 Therefore, Oholibah, thus says the Lord Yahweh: Behold, I will raise up your lovers against you, from whom your soul is alienated, and I will bring them against you on every side:അതുകൊണ്ടു ഒഹൊലീബയേ, യഹോവയായ കർത്താവു ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു: ബാബേൽക്കാർ, കല്ദയർ ഒക്കെയും, പെക്കോദ്യർ, ശോവ്യർ,

23 the Babylonians and all the Chaldeans, Pekod and Shoa and Koa, [and] all the Assyrians with them; desirable young men, governors and rulers all of them, princes and men of renown, all of them riding on horses.കോവ്യർ, അശ്ശൂർയ്യർ ഒക്കെയും എന്നിങ്ങനെ മനോഹരയുവാക്കളും ദേശാധിപതികളും സ്ഥാനാപതികളും ഒട്ടൊഴിയാതെ പ്രഭുക്കന്മാരും വിശ്രുതന്മാരും കുതിരപ്പുറത്തു കയറി ഓടിക്കുന്നവരുമായി, നിനക്കു വെറുപ്പു തോന്നിയിരിക്കുന്ന നിന്റെ ജാരന്മാരെ ഞാൻ നിനക്കു വിരോധമായി ഉണർത്തി ചുറ്റും നിന്റെ നേരെ വരുത്തും.

24 They shall come against you with weapons, chariots, and wagons, and with a company of peoples; they shall set themselves against you with buckler and shield and helmet round about; and I will commit the judgment to them, and they shall judge you according to their judgments.അവർ അനവധി രഥങ്ങളും വണ്ടികളും ഒരു ജനസമൂഹവുമായി നിന്റെ നേരെ വരും; അവർ പരിചയും പലകയും പിടിച്ചു തലക്കോരിക ഇട്ടുംകൊണ്ടു നിന്നെ വന്നു വളയും; ഞാൻ ന്യായവിധി അവർക്കു ഭരമേല്പിക്കും; അവർ തങ്ങളുടെ ന്യായങ്ങൾക്കു അനുസാരമായി നിന്നെ ന്യായം വിധിക്കും.

25 I will set my jealousy against you, and they shall deal with you in fury; they shall take away your nose and your ears; and your residue shall fall by the sword: they shall take your sons and your daughters; and your residue shall be devoured by the fire.ഞാൻ എന്റെ തീക്ഷ്ണത നിന്റെ നേരെ പ്രയോഗിക്കും; അവർ ക്രോധത്തോടെ നിന്നോടു പെരുമാറും; അവർ നിന്റെ മൂക്കും ചെവിയും ചെത്തിക്കളയും; നിനക്കു ശേഷിപ്പുള്ളവർ വാൾകൊണ്ടു വീഴും; അവർ നിന്റെ പുത്രന്മാരെയും പുത്രിമാരെയും പിടിച്ചു കൊണ്ടുപോകും; നിനക്കു ശേഷിപ്പുള്ളവർ തീക്കിരയാകും.

26 They shall also strip you of your clothes, and take away your beautiful jewels.അവർ നിന്റെ വസ്ത്രം ഉരിഞ്ഞു ആഭരണങ്ങളെ എടുത്തുകളയും.

27 Thus will I make your lewdness to cease from you, and your prostitution [brought] from the land of Egypt; so that you shall not lift up your eyes to them, nor remember Egypt any more.ഇങ്ങനെ ഞാൻ നിന്റെ ദുർമ്മര്യാദയും, മിസ്രയീംദേശത്തുനിന്നു കൊണ്ടുവന്ന നിന്റെ വേശ്യാവൃത്തിയും നിർത്തലാക്കും; നീ ഇനി അവരെ തലപൊക്കി നോക്കുകയില്ല, മിസ്രയീമിനെ ഓർക്കുകയുമില്ല.

28 For thus says the Lord Yahweh: Behold, I will deliver you into the hand of them whom you hate, into the hand of them from whom your soul is alienated;യഹോവയായ കർത്താവു ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു: ഞാൻ നിന്നെ നീ പകെക്കുന്നവരുടെ കയ്യിൽ, നിനക്കു വെറുപ്പു തോന്നുന്നവരുടെ കയ്യിൽ തന്നേ ഏല്പിക്കും.

29 and they shall deal with you in hatred, and shall take away all your labor, and shall leave you naked and bare; and the nakedness of your prostitution shall be uncovered, both your lewdness and your prostitution.അവർ പകയോടെ നിന്നോടു പെരുമാറി നിന്റെ സമ്പാദ്യം ഒക്കെയും എടുത്തു, നിന്നെ നഗ്നയും അനാവൃതയും ആക്കിവിടും; അങ്ങനെ നിന്റെ വേശ്യാവൃത്തിയുടെ നഗ്നതയും നിന്റെ ദുർമ്മര്യാദയും പരസംഗങ്ങളും വെളിപ്പെട്ടുവരും.

30 These things shall be done to you, because you have played the prostitute after the nations, and because you are polluted with their idols.നീ ജാതികളോടു ചേന്നു പരസംഗം ചെയ്തതുകൊണ്ടും അവരുടെ വിഗ്രഹങ്ങളാൽ നിന്നെത്തന്നേ മലിനയാക്കിയതുകൊണ്ടും ഇതു നിനക്കു ഭവിക്കും.

31 You have walked in the way of your sister; therefore will I give her cup into your hand.നീ സഹോദരിയുടെ വഴിയിൽ നടന്നതുകൊണ്ടു ഞാൻ അവളുടെ പാനപാത്രം നിന്റെ കയ്യിൽ തരും.

32 Thus says the Lord Yahweh: You shall drink of your sister's cup, which is deep and large; you shall ridiculed and had in derision; it contains much.യഹോവയായ കർത്താവു ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു: നീ സഹോദരിയുടെ കുഴിയും വട്ടവും ഉള്ള പാനപാത്രത്തിൽനിന്നു കുടിച്ചു നിന്ദെക്കും പരിഹാസത്തിന്നും വിഷയമായ്തീരും; അതിൽ വളരെ കൊള്ളുമല്ലോ.

33 You shall be filled with drunkenness and sorrow, with the cup of astonishment and desolation, with the cup of your sister Samaria.സ്തംഭനവും ശൂന്യതയുമുള്ള പാനപാത്രമായി നിന്റെ സഹോദരി ശമർയ്യരുടെ പാനപാത്രമായ ലഹരിയും ദുഃഖവുംകൊണ്ടു നീ നിറഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്നു.

34 You shall even drink it and drain it out, and you shall gnaw the broken pieces of it, and shall tear your breasts; for I have spoken it, says the Lord Yahweh.നീ അതു കുടിച്ചു വറ്റിച്ചു ഉടെച്ചു കഷണങ്ങളെ നക്കി നിന്റെ മുലകളെ കീറിക്കളയും; ഞാൻ അതു കല്പിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു യഹോവയായ കർത്താവിന്റെ അരുളപ്പാടു.

35 Therefore thus says the Lord Yahweh: Because you have forgotten me, and cast me behind your back, therefore bear you also your lewdness and your prostitution.ആകയാൽ യഹോവയായ കർത്താവു ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു: നീ എന്നെ മറന്നു എന്നെ നിന്റെ പിറകിൽ എറിഞ്ഞുകളകകൊണ്ടു നീ നിന്റെ ദുർമ്മര്യാദയും പരസംഗവും വഹിക്ക.

36 Yahweh said moreover to me: Son of man, will you judge Oholah and Oholibah? then declare to them their abominations.പിന്നെയും യഹോവ എന്നോടു അരുളിച്ചെയ്തതു: മനുഷ്യപുത്രാ, നീ ഒഹൊലയെയും ഒഹൊലീബയെയും ന്യായംവിധിക്കുമോ? എന്നാൽ അവരുടെ മ്ളേച്ഛതകളെ അവരോടു അറിയിക്ക.

37 For they have committed adultery, and blood is in their hands; and with their idols have they committed adultery; and they have also caused their sons, whom they bore to me, to pass through [the fire] to them to be devoured.അവർ വ്യഭിചാരം ചെയ്തു, അവരുടെ കയ്യിൽ രക്തം ഉണ്ടു; തങ്ങളുടെ വിഗ്രഹങ്ങളോടു അവർ വ്യഭിചാരം ചെയ്തു; അവർ എനിക്കു പ്രസവിച്ച മക്കളെ അവെക്കു ഭോജനമായി അഗ്നിപ്രവേശം ചെയ്യിച്ചു.

38 Moreover this they have done to me: they have defiled my sanctuary in the same day, and have profaned my Sabbaths.ഒന്നുകൂടെ അവർ എന്നോടു ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നു: അന്നാളിൽ തന്നേ അവർ എന്റെ വിശുദ്ധമന്ദിരത്തെ തീണ്ടിച്ചു എന്റെ ശബ്ബത്തുകളെ അശുദ്ധമാക്കി.

39 For when they had slain their children to their idols, then they came the same day into my sanctuary to profane it; and, behold, thus have they done in the midst of my house.അവർ തങ്ങളുടെ മക്കളെ വിഗ്രഹങ്ങൾക്കു വേണ്ടി കൊന്ന ശേഷം അന്നു തന്നേ അവർ എന്റെ വിശുദ്ധമന്ദിരത്തെ അശുദ്ധമാക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു അതിലേക്കു വന്നു; ഇങ്ങനെയത്രേ അവർ എന്റെ ആലയത്തിന്റെ നടുവിൽ ചെയ്തതു.

40 Furthermore you have sent for men who come from far, to whom a messenger was sent, and, behold, they came; for whom you did wash yourself, paint your eyes, and deck yourself with ornaments,ഇതുകൂടാതെ ദൂരത്തുനിന്നു വന്ന പുരുഷന്മാർക്കു അവർ ആളയച്ചു; ഒരു ദൂതൻ അവരുടെ അടുക്കൽ ചെന്ന ഉടനെ അവർ വന്നു; അവർക്കു വേണ്ടി നീ കുളിച്ചു, കണ്ണിൽ മഷി എഴുതി, ആഭരണം അണിഞ്ഞു,

41 and sit on a stately bed, with a table prepared before it, whereupon you did set my incense and my oil.ഭംഗിയുള്ളോരു കട്ടിലിന്മേൽ ഇരുന്നു, അതിന്റെ മുമ്പിൽ ഒരു മേശ ഒരുക്കി, അതിന്മേൽ എന്റെ കുന്തുരുക്കവും എണ്ണയും വെച്ചു;

42 The voice of a multitude being at ease was with her: and with men of the common sort were brought drunkards from the wilderness; and they put bracelets on the hands of them [twain], and beautiful crowns on their heads.നിർഭയമായിരിക്കുന്ന ഒരു പുരുഷാരത്തിന്റെ ഘോഷം അവളോടു കൂടെ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു; ജനസമൂഹത്തിലെ പുരുഷന്മാരുടെ അടുക്കൽ അവർ ആളയച്ചു, മരുഭൂമിയിൽനിന്നു കുടിയന്മാരെ കൊണ്ടുവന്നു; അവർ അവരുടെ കൈക്കു വളയിടുകയും തലയിൽ ഭംഗിയുള്ള കിരീടങ്ങൾ വെക്കയും ചെയ്തു.

43 Then said I of her who was old in adulteries, Now will they play the prostitute with her, and she [with them].അപ്പോൾ ഞാൻ: കിഴവിയായവൾ വ്യഭിചാരം ചെയ്യും; ഇപ്പോൾ അവർ അവളോടും അവൾ അവരോടും പരസംഗം ചെയ്യും എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

44 They went in to her, as they go in to a prostitute: so went they in to Oholah and to Oholibah, the lewd women.അങ്ങനെ വേശ്യയുടെ അടുക്കൽ ചെല്ലുന്നതുപോലെ അവർ അവളുടെ അടുക്കൽ ചെന്നു; അതെ അവർ കാമുകികളായ ഒഹൊലയുടെ അടുക്കലും ഒഹൊലീബയുടെ അടുക്കലും ചെന്നു.

45 Righteous men, they shall judge them with the judgment of adulteresses, and with the judgment of women who shed blood; because they are adulteresses, and blood is in their hands.എന്നാൽ നീതിമാന്മാരായ പുരുഷന്മാർ വ്യഭിചാരിണികൾക്കു തക്ക ന്യായപ്രകാരവും രക്തപാതകികൾക്കു തക്ക ന്യായപ്രകാരവും അവരെ ന്യായം വിധിക്കും; അവർ വ്യഭിചാരിണികളല്ലോ; അവരുകട കയ്യിൽ രക്തവും ഉണ്ടു.

46 For thus says the Lord Yahweh: I will bring up a company against them, and will give them to be tossed back and forth and robbed.യഹോവയായ കർത്താവു ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു: ഞാൻ അവരുടെ നേരെ ഒരു സഭ കൂട്ടി അവരെ പരിഭ്രമത്തിന്നും കവർച്ചെക്കും ഏല്പിക്കും.

47 The company shall stone them with stones, and dispatch them with their swords; they shall kill their sons and their daughters, and burn up their houses with fire.ആ സഭ അവരെ കല്ലെറിഞ്ഞു വാൾകൊണ്ടു വെട്ടിക്കളയും; അവരുടെ പുത്രന്മാരെയും പുത്രിമാരെയും അവർ കൊന്നു അവരുടെ വീടുകളെ തീവെച്ചു ചുട്ടുകളയും.

48 Thus will I cause lewdness to cease out of the land, that all women may be taught not to do after your lewdness.ഇങ്ങനെ നിങ്ങളുടെ ദുർമ്മര്യാദപോലെ ചെയ്യാതിരിപ്പാൻ സകലസ്ത്രീകളുടെ ഒരു പാഠം പഠിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു ഞാൻ ദുർമ്മര്യാദ ദേശത്തുനിന്നു നീക്കിക്കളയും.

49 They shall recompense your lewdness on you, and you shall bear the sins of your idols; and you shall know that I am the Lord Yahweh.അങ്ങനെ അവർ നിങ്ങളുടെ ദുർമ്മര്യാദെക്കു തക്കവണ്ണം നിങ്ങൾക്കു പകരം ചെയ്യും; നിങ്ങൾ നിങ്ങളുടെ വിഗ്രഹങ്ങളുടെ പാപങ്ങളെ ചുമക്കേണ്ടിവരും; ഞാൻ യഹോവയായ കർത്താവു എന്നു നിങ്ങൾ അറിയും.
