അവൻ ഭൂമിയുടെ ഉന്നതങ്ങളിൽ അവനെ വാഹനമേറ്റി; നിലത്തെ അനുഭവംകൊണ്ടു അവൻ ഉപജീവിച്ചു. അവനെ പാറയിൽനിന്നു തേനും തീക്കല്ലിൽനിന്നു എണ്ണയും കുടിപ്പിച്ചു.

that he might eat	וַיֹּאכַ֖ל	ʾākal	ah-HAHL
the increase	תְּנוּבֹ֣ת	tĕnûbâ	teh-noo-VA
of the fields;	שָׂדָ֑י	śāde	sa-DEH
and he made him to suck	וַיֵּֽנִקֵ֤הֽוּ	yānaq	ya-NAHK
honey	דְבַשׁ֙	dĕbaš	deh-VAHSH
out of the rock,	מִסֶּ֔לַע	selaʿ	seh-LA
and oil	וְשֶׁ֖מֶן	šemen	sheh-MEN
out of the flinty	מֵֽחַלְמִ֥ישׁ	ḥallāmîš	ha-la-MEESH
rock;	צֽוּר׃	ṣûr	tsoor
