Acts 28 - DBY (Malayalam)

1 And when we got safe [to land] we then knew that the island was called Melita.രക്ഷപ്പെട്ടശേഷം ദ്വീപിന്റെ പേർ മെലിത്ത എന്നു ഞങ്ങൾ ഗ്രഹിച്ചു.

2 But the barbarians shewed us no common kindness; for, having kindled a fire, they took us all in because of the rain that was falling and because of the cold.അവിടത്തെ ബർബരന്മാർ ഞങ്ങൾക്കു അസാധാരണ ദയ കാണിച്ചു മഴയും ശീതവും നിമിത്തം തീ കൂട്ടി ഞങ്ങളെ ഒക്കെയും കൈക്കൊണ്ടു.

3 And Paul having gathered a [certain] quantity of sticks together in a bundle and laid [it] on the fire, a viper coming out from the heat seized his hand.പൌലൊസ് കുറെ വിറകു പെറുക്കി തീയിൽ ഇട്ടപ്പൊൾ ഒരു അണലി ചൂടുനിമിത്തം പുറപ്പെട്ടു അവന്റെ കൈക്കു പറ്റി.

4 And when the barbarians saw the beast hanging from his hand, they said to one another, This man is certainly a murderer, whom, [though] saved out of the sea, Nemesis has not allowed to live.ആ ജന്തു അവന്റെ കൈമേൽ തൂങ്ങുന്നതു ബർബരന്മാർ കണ്ടപ്പോൾ: ഈ മനുഷ്യൻ ഒരു കുലപാതകൻ സംശയമില്ല; കടലിലൽ നിന്നു രക്ഷപ്പെട്ടിട്ടും നീതിദേവി അവനെ ജീവിച്ചിരിപ്പാൻ സമ്മതിക്കുന്നില്ല എന്നു തമ്മിൽ പറഞ്ഞു.

5 *He* however, having shaken off the beast into the fire, felt no harm.അവനോ ആ ജന്തുവിനെ തീയിൽ കുടഞ്ഞു കളഞ്ഞു, ദോഷം ഒന്നും പറ്റിയില്ല.

6 But *they* expected that he would have swollen or fallen down suddenly dead. But when they had expected a long time and saw nothing unusual happen to him, changing their opinion, they said he was a god.അവൻ വീർക്കുകയോ പെട്ടെന്നു ചത്തു വീഴുകയോ ചെയ്യും എന്നു വെച്ചു അവർ കാത്തുനിന്നു; വളരെ നേരം കാത്തുനിന്നിട്ടും അവന്നു ആപത്തു ഒന്നും ഭവിക്കുന്നില്ല എന്നു കണ്ടു മനസ്സു മാറി അവൻ ഒരു ദേവൻ എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

7 Now in the country surrounding that place were the lands belonging to the chief man of the island, by name Publius, who received us and gave [us] hospitality three days in a very friendly way.ആ സ്ഥലത്തിന്റെ സമീപത്തു പുബ്ളിയൊസ് എന്ന ദ്വീപുപ്രമാണിക്കു ഒരു ജന്മഭൂമി ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു; അവൻ ഞങ്ങളെ ചേർത്തു മൂന്നു ദിവസം ആദരവോടെ അതിഥിസൽക്കാരം ചെയ്തു.

8 And it happened that the father of Publius lay ill of fever and dysentery; to whom Paul entered in, and having prayed and laid his hands on him cured him.പുബ്ളിയൊസിന്റെ അപ്പൻ പനിയും അതിസാരവും പിടിച്ചു കിടപ്പായിരുന്നു. പൌലൊസ് അവന്റെ അടുക്കൽ അകത്തു ചെന്നു പ്രാർത്ഥിച്ചു അവന്റെമേൽ കൈവെച്ചു സൌഖ്യം വരുത്തി.

9 But this having taken place, the rest also who had sicknesses in the island came and were healed:ഇതു സംഭവിച്ചശേഷം ദ്വീപിലെ മറ്റു ദീനക്കാരും വന്നു സൌഖ്യം പ്രാപിച്ചു.

10 who also honoured us with many honours, and on our leaving they made presents to us of what should minister to our wants.അവരും ഏറിയ സമ്മാനം തന്നു ഞങ്ങളെ മാനിച്ചു; ഞങ്ങൾ കപ്പൽ കയറുന്ന സമയം ആവശ്യമുള്ളതു കയറ്റിത്തന്നു.

11 And after three months we sailed in a ship which had wintered in the island, an Alexandrian, with [the] Dioscuri for its ensign.മൂന്നു മാസം കഴിഞ്ഞശേഷം ആ ദ്വീപിൽ ശീതകാലം കഴിച്ചു കിടന്നിരുന്ന അശ്വനി ചിഹ്നമുള്ളോരു അലെക്സന്ത്രിയകപ്പലിൽ ഞങ്ങൾ കയറി പുറപ്പെട്ടു,

12 And having come to Syracuse we remained three days.സുറക്കൂസയിൽ കരെക്കിറിങ്ങി മൂന്നു നാൾ പാർത്തു; അവിടെ നിന്നു ചുറ്റി ഓടി രേഗ്യൊനിൽ എത്തി.

13 Whence, going in a circuitous course, we arrived at Rhegium; and after one day, the wind having changed to south, on the second day we came to Puteoli,ഒരു ദിവസം കഴിഞ്ഞിട്ടു തെക്കങ്കാറ്റു അടിച്ചതിനാൽ പിറ്റേന്നു പുത്യൊലിയിൽ എത്തി.

14 where, having found brethren, we were begged to stay with them seven days. And thus we went to Rome.അവിടെ സഹോദരന്മാരെ കണ്ടു തങ്ങളോടു കൂടെ ഏഴു നാൾ താമസിക്കേണം എന്നു അവൻ അപേക്ഷിച്ചു; പിന്നെ ഞങ്ങൾ റോമയിൽ എത്തി.

15 And thence the brethren, having heard about us, came to meet us as far as Appii Forum and Tres Tabernae, whom when Paul saw, he thanked God and took courage.അവിടത്തെ സഹോദരന്മാർ ഞങ്ങളുടെ വർത്തമാനം കേട്ടിട്ടു അപ്യപുരവും ത്രിമണ്ഡപവും വരെ ഞങ്ങളെ എതിരേറ്റു വന്നു; അവരെ കണ്ടിട്ടു പൌലൊസ് ദൈവത്തെ വാഴ്ത്തി ധൈര്യം പ്രാപിച്ചു.

16 And when we came to Rome, [the centurion delivered up the prisoners to the praetorian prefect, but] Paul was allowed to remain by himself with the soldier who kept him.റോമയിൽ എത്തിയശേഷം തനിക്കു കാവലായ പടയാളിയോടുകൂടെ വേറിട്ടു പാർപ്പാൻ പൌലൊസിന്നു അനുവാദം കിട്ടി.

17 And it came to pass after three days, that he called together those who were the chief of the Jews; and when they had come together he said to them, Brethren, *I* having done nothing against the people or the customs of our forefathers, have been delivered a prisoner from Jerusalem into the hands of the Romans,മൂന്നു ദിവസം കഴിഞ്ഞിട്ടു അവൻ യെഹൂദന്മാരിൽ പ്രധാനികളായവരെ വിളിപ്പിച്ചു. അവർ വന്നുകൂടിയപ്പോൾ അവരോടു പറഞ്ഞതു: സഹോദരന്മാരേ, ഞാൻ ജനത്തിന്നോ പിതാക്കന്മാരുടെ ആചാരങ്ങൾക്കോ വിരോധം ഒന്നും ചെയ്തിട്ടില്ലാതിരിക്കെ എന്നെ യെരൂശലേമിൽനിന്നു ബദ്ധനായി റോമക്കാരുടെ കയ്യിൽ ഏല്പിച്ചു.

18 who having examined me were minded to let me go, because there was nothing worthy of death in me.അവർ വിസ്തരിച്ചാറെ മരണയോഗ്യമായതു ഒന്നും എന്നിൽ കാണായ്കയാൽ എന്നെ വിട്ടയപ്പാൻ അവർക്കു മനസുണ്ടായിരുന്നു

19 But the Jews speaking against it, I was compelled to appeal to Caesar, not as having anything to accuse my nation of.എന്നാൽ യെഹൂദന്മാർ എതിർപറകയാൽ ഞാൻ കൈസരെ അഭയം ചൊല്ലേണ്ടിവന്നു; എന്റെ ജാതിയുടെ നേരെ അന്യായം ബോധിപ്പിപ്പാൻ എനിക്കു യാതൊന്നും ഉണ്ടായിട്ടല്ലതാനും.

20 For this cause therefore I have called you to [me] to see and to speak to you; for on account of the hope of Israel I have this chain about me.ഇതു ഹേതുവായി നിങ്ങളെ കണ്ടു സംസാരിക്കേണം എന്നുവെച്ചു ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളെ വിളിപ്പിച്ചു. യിസ്രായേലിന്റെ പ്രത്യാശനിമിത്തം ആകുന്നു ഞാൻ ഈ ചങ്ങല ചുമക്കുന്നതു.

21 And they said to him, For our part, we have neither received letters from Judaea concerning thee, nor has any one of the brethren who has arrived reported or said anything evil concerning thee.അവർ അവനോടു; നിന്റെ സംഗതിക്കു യെഹൂദ്യയിൽ നിന്നു ഞങ്ങൾക്കു എഴുത്തു വരികയോ സഹോദരന്മാരിൽ ആരും വന്നു നിന്നെക്കൊണ്ടു യാതൊരു ദോഷവുംപറകയോ ചെയ്തിട്ടില്ല.

22 But we beg to hear of thee what thou thinkest, for as concerning this sect it is known to us that it is everywhere spoken against.എങ്കിലും ഈ മതഭേദത്തിന്നു എല്ലായിടത്തും വിരോധം പറയുന്നു എന്നു ഞങ്ങൾ അറിയുന്നതിനാൽ നിന്റെ മതം ഇന്നതു എന്നു നീ തന്നേ പറഞ്ഞുകേൾപ്പാൻ ആഗ്രഹിക്കുന്നു എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

23 And having appointed him a day many came to him to the lodging, to whom he expounded, testifying of the kingdom of God, and persuading them concerning Jesus, both from the law of Moses and the prophets, from early morning to evening.ഒരു ദിവസം നിശ്ചയിച്ചിട്ടു പലരും അവന്റെ പാർപ്പിടത്തിൽ അവന്റെ അടുക്കൽ വന്നു; അവരോടു അവൻ ദൈവരാജ്യത്തിന്നു സാക്ഷ്യം പറഞ്ഞു മോശെയുടെ ന്യായപ്രമാണവും പ്രവാചകപുസ്തകങ്ങളും ആധാരമാക്കി യേശുവിനെക്കുറിച്ചു അവർക്കു ബോധം വരുമാറു രാവിലെ തുടങ്ങി സന്ധ്യവരെ വിവരിച്ചു.

24 And some were persuaded of the things which were said, but some disbelieved.അവൻ പറഞ്ഞതു ചിലർ സമ്മതിച്ചു; ചിലർ വിശ്വസിച്ചില്ല.

25 And being disagreed among themselves they left; Paul having spoken one word, Well spoke the Holy Spirit through Esaias the prophet to our fathers,അവർ തമ്മിൽ യോജിക്കാതെ പിരിഞ്ഞുപോകുമ്പോൾ പൌലൊസ് അവരോടു ഒരു വാക്കു പറഞ്ഞതെന്തെന്നാൽ:

26 saying, Go to this people, and say, Hearing ye shall hear and not understand, and seeing ye shall see and not perceive.“നിങ്ങൾ ചെവികൊണ്ടു കേട്ടിട്ടും ഗ്രഹിക്കാതിരിക്കും; കണ്ണുകൊണ്ടു കണ്ടിട്ടും കാണാതിരിക്കും; കണ്ണുകൊണ്ടു കാണാതെയും ചെവികൊണ്ടു കേൾക്കാതെയും ഹൃദയംകൊണ്ടു ഗ്രഹിച്ചു മനന്തിരിയാതെയും.

27 For the heart of this people has become fat, and they hear heavily with their ears, and they have closed their eyes; lest they should see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their heart, and be converted, and I should heal them.ഞാൻ അവരെ സൌഖ്യമാക്കാതെയും ഇരിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു ഈ ജനത്തിന്റെ ഹൃദയം തടിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു. അവരുടെ ചെവി കേൾപ്പാൻ മന്ദമായിരിക്കുന്നു; അവരുടെ കണ്ണു അടെച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു ഈ ജനത്തിന്റെ അടുക്കൽ പോയി പറക” എന്നിങ്ങനെ പരിശുദ്ധാത്മാവു യെശയ്യാപ്രവാചകൻ മുഖാന്തരം നിങ്ങളുടെ പിതാക്കന്മാരോടു പറഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്നതു ശരി തന്നേ.

28 Be it known to you therefore, that this salvation of God has been sent to the nations; *they* also will hear [it].ആകയാൽ ദൈവം തന്റെ ഈ രക്ഷ ജാതികൾക്കു അയച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു; അവർ കേൾക്കും എന്നു നിങ്ങൾ അറിഞ്ഞുകൊൾവിൻ.

29 [And he having said this, the Jews went away, having great reasoning among themselves.]അവൻ കൂലിക്കു വാങ്ങിയ വീട്ടിൽ രണ്ടു സംവത്സരം മുഴുവൻ പാർത്തു, തന്റെ അടുക്കൽ വരുന്നവരെ ഒക്കെയും കൈക്കൊണ്ടു

30 And he remained two whole years in his own hired lodging, and received all who came to him,പൂർണ്ണ പ്രാഗത്ഭ്യത്തോടെ വിഘ്നംകൂടാതെ ദൈവരാജ്യം പ്രസംഗിച്ചും കർത്താവായ യേശുക്രിസ്തുവിനെക്കുറിച്ചു ഉപദേശിച്ചും പോന്നു.

31 preaching the kingdom of God, and teaching the things concerning the Lord Jesus Christ, with all freedom unhinderedly.
