Acts 16 - DBY (Malayalam)

1 And he came to Derbe and Lystra: and behold, a certain disciple was there, by name Timotheus, son of a Jewish believing woman, but [the] father a Greek,അവൻ ദെർബ്ബെയിലും ലുസ്ത്രയിലും ചെന്നു. അവിടെ വിശ്വാസമുള്ളോരു യെഹൂദസ്ത്രീയുടെ മകനായി തിമൊഥെയൊസ് എന്നു പേരുള്ള ഒരു ശിഷ്യൻ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു. അവന്റെ അപ്പൻ യവനനായിരുന്നു.

2 who had a [good] testimony of the brethren in Lystra and Iconium.അവൻ ലുസ്ത്രയിലും ഇക്കോന്യയിലുമുള്ള സഹോദരന്മാരാൽ നല്ല സാക്ഷ്യം കൊണ്ടവൻ ആയിരുന്നു.

3 Him would Paul have go forth with him, and took [him and] circumcised him on account of the Jews who were in those places, for they all knew his father that he was a Greek.അവൻ തന്നോടുകൂടെ പോരേണം എന്നു പൌലൊസ് ഇച്ഛിച്ചു; അവന്റെ അപ്പൻ യവനൻ എന്നു അവിടങ്ങളിലുള്ള യഹൂദന്മാർ എല്ലാവരും അറിഞ്ഞിരുന്നതിനാൽ അവരെ വിചാരിച്ചു അവനെ പരിച്ഛേദന കഴിപ്പിച്ചു.

4 And as they passed through the cities they instructed them to observe the decrees determined on by the apostles and elders who were in Jerusalem.അവർ പട്ടണം തോറും ചെന്നു യെരൂശലേമിലെ അപ്പൊസ്തലന്മാരും മൂപ്പന്മാരും വിധിച്ച നിർണ്ണയങ്ങൾ പ്രമാണിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു അവർക്കു ഏല്പിച്ചുകൊടുത്തു.

5 The assemblies therefore were confirmed in the faith, and increased in number every day.അങ്ങനെ സഭകൾ വിശ്വാസത്തിൽ ഉറെക്കയും എണ്ണത്തിൽ ദിവസേന പെരുകുകയും ചെയ്തു.

6 And having passed through Phrygia and the Galatian country, having been forbidden by the Holy Spirit to speak the word in Asia,അവർ ആസ്യയിൽ വചനം പ്രസംഗിക്കരുതെന്നു പരിശുദ്ധാത്മാവു വിലക്കുകയാൽ ഫ്രുഗ്യയിലും ഗലാത്യദേശത്തിലും കൂടി സഞ്ചരിച്ചു,

7 having come down to Mysia, they attempted to go to Bithynia, and the Spirit of Jesus did not allow them;മുസ്യയിൽ എത്തി ബിഥുന്യെക്കു പോകുവാൻ ശ്രമിച്ചു; യേശുവിന്റെ ആത്മാവോ അവരെ സമ്മതിച്ചില്ല.

8 and having passed by Mysia they descended to Troas.അവർ മുസ്യ കടന്നു ത്രോവാസിൽ എത്തി.

9 And a vision appeared to Paul in the night: There was a certain Macedonian man, standing and beseeching him, and saying, Pass over into Macedonia and help us.അവിടെവെച്ചു പൌലൊസ് രാത്രിയിൽ മക്കെദോന്യക്കാരനായൊരു പുരുഷൻ അരികെ നിന്നു: നീ മക്കെദോന്യെക്കു കടന്നുവന്നു ഞങ്ങളെ സഹായിക്ക എന്നു തന്നോടു അപേക്ഷിക്കുന്നതായി ഒരു ദർശനം കണ്ടു.

10 And when he had seen the vision, immediately we sought to go forth to Macedonia, concluding that the Lord had called us to announce to them the glad tidings.ഈ ദർശനം കണ്ടിട്ടു അവരോടു സുവിശേഷം അറിയിപ്പാൻ ദൈവം ഞങ്ങളെ വിളിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു നിശ്ചയിച്ചു, ഞങ്ങൾ ഉടനെ മക്കെദോന്യെക്കു പുറപ്പെടുവാൻ ശ്രമിച്ചു.

11 Having sailed therefore away from Troas, we went in a straight course to Samothracia, and on the morrow to Neapolis,അങ്ങനെ ഞങ്ങൾ ത്രോവാസിൽനിന്നു കപ്പൽ നീക്കി നേരെ സമൊത്രാക്കെയിലേക്കും പിറ്റെന്നാൾ നവപൊലിക്കും അവിടെ നിന്നു ഫിലിപ്പിയിലേക്കും ചെന്നു.

12 and thence to Philippi, which is [the] first city of that part of Macedonia, a colony. And we were staying in that city certain days.ഇതു മക്കെദോന്യയുടെ ആ ഭാഗത്തെ ഒരു പ്രധാന പട്ടണവും റോമക്കാർ കുടിയേറിപ്പാർത്തതും ആകുന്നു. ആ പട്ടണത്തിൽ ഞങ്ങൾ ചില ദിവസം പാർത്തു.

13 And on the sabbath day we went outside the gate by the river, where it was the custom for prayer to be, and we sat down and spoke to the women who had assembled.ശബ്ബത്തുനാളിൽ ഞങ്ങൾ ഗോപുരത്തിന്നു പുറത്തേക്കു പോയി അവിടെ പ്രാർത്ഥനാസ്ഥലം ഉണ്ടായിരിക്കും എന്നു ഞങ്ങൾ വിചാരിച്ചു പുഴവക്കത്തു ഇരുന്നു; അവിടെ കൂടിവന്ന സ്ത്രീകളോടു സംസാരിച്ചു.

14 And a certain woman, by name Lydia, a seller of purple, of the city of Thyatira, who worshipped God, heard; whose heart the Lord opened to attend to the things spoken by Paul.തുയത്തൈരാപട്ടണക്കാരത്തിയും രക്താംബരം വില്ക്കുന്നവളുമായി ലുദിയ എന്നു പേരുള്ള ദൈവ ഭക്തയായോരു സ്ത്രീ കേട്ടുകൊണ്ടിരുന്നു. പൌലൊസ് സംസാരിച്ചതു ശ്രദ്ധിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു കർത്താവു അവളുടെ ഹൃദയം തുറന്നു

15 And when she had been baptised and her house, she besought [us], saying, If ye have judged me to be faithful to the Lord, come into my house and abide [there]. And she constrained us.അവളും കുടുംബവും സ്നാനം ഏറ്റ ശേഷം: നിങ്ങൾ എന്നെ കർത്താവിൽ വിശ്വസ്ത എന്നു എണ്ണിയിരിക്കുന്നുവെങ്കിൽ എന്റെ വീട്ടിൽ വന്നു പാർപ്പിൻ എന്നു അപേക്ഷിച്ചു ഞങ്ങളെ നിർബ്ബന്ധിച്ചു.

16 And it came to pass as we were going to prayer that a certain female slave, having a spirit of Python, met us, who brought much profit to her masters by prophesying.ഞങ്ങൾ പ്രാർത്ഥനാസ്ഥലത്തേക്കു ചെല്ലുമ്പോൾ വെളിച്ചപ്പാടത്തിയായി ലക്ഷണം പറഞ്ഞു യജമാനന്മാർക്കു വളരെ ലാഭം വരുത്തുന്ന ഒരു ബാല്യക്കാരത്തി ഞങ്ങളെ എതിരേറ്റു.

17 She, having followed Paul and us, cried saying, These men are bondmen of the Most High God, who announce to you [the] way of salvation.അവൾ പൌലൊസിന്റെയും ഞങ്ങളുടെയും പിന്നാലെ വന്നു: ഈ മനുഷ്യർ അത്യുന്നതനായ ദൈവത്തിന്റെ ദാസന്മാർ, രക്ഷാമാർഗ്ഗം നിങ്ങളോടു അറിയിക്കുന്നവർ എന്നു വിളിച്ചുപറഞ്ഞു.

18 And this she did many days. And Paul, being distressed, turned, and said to the spirit, I enjoin thee in the name of Jesus Christ to come out of her. And it came out the same hour.ഇങ്ങനെ അവൾ പലനാൾ ചെയ്തുവന്നു. പൌലൊസ് മുഷിഞ്ഞു തിരിഞ്ഞു നോക്കി അവളിലുള്ള ഭൂതത്തോടു: അവളെ വിട്ടുപോകുവാൻ ഞാൻ യേശുക്രിസ്തുവിന്റെ നാമത്തിൽ നിന്നോടു കല്പിക്കുന്നു എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു. ആ നാഴികയിൽ തന്നേ അതു അവളെ വിട്ടുപോയി.

19 And her masters, seeing that the hope of their gains was gone, having seized Paul and Silas, dragged [them] into the market before the magistrates;അവളുടെ യജമാനന്മാര്‍ തങ്ങളുടെ ലാഭത്തിന്റെ ആശ പോയ്പോയതു കണ്ടിട്ടു പൌലൊസിനെയും ശീലാസിനെയും പിടിച്ചു, ചന്തസ്ഥലത്തു പ്രമാണികളുടെ അടുക്കലേക്കു വലിച്ചു കൊണ്ടുപോയി

20 and having brought them up to the praetors, said, These men utterly trouble our city, being Jews,അധിപതികളുടെ മുമ്പിൽ നിർത്തി; യെഹൂദന്മാരായ ഈ മനുഷ്യർ നമ്മുടെ പട്ടണത്തെ കലക്കി,

21 and announce customs which it is not lawful for us to receive nor practise, being Romans.റോമാക്കാരായ നമുക്കു അംഗീകരിപ്പാനും അനുസരിപ്പാനും ന്യായമല്ലാത്ത ആചാരങ്ങളെ പ്രസംഗിക്കുന്നു എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

22 And the crowd rose up too against them; and the praetors, having torn off their clothes, commanded to scourge [them].പുരുഷാരവും അവരുടെ നേരെ ഇളകി; അധിപതികൾ അവരുടെ വസ്ത്രം പറിച്ചുരിഞ്ഞു കോൽകൊണ്ടു അവരെ അടിപ്പാൻ കല്പിച്ചു.

23 And having laid many stripes upon them they cast [them] into prison, charging the jailor to keep them safely;അവരെ വളരെ അടിപ്പിച്ചശേഷം തടവിൽ ആക്കി കാരാഗൃഹപ്രമാണിയോടു അവരെ സൂക്ഷമത്തോടെ കാപ്പാൻ കല്പിച്ചു.

24 who, having received such a charge, cast them into the inner prison, and secured their feet to the stocks.അവൻ ഇങ്ങനെയുള്ള കല്പന കിട്ടുകയാൽ അവരെ അകത്തെ തടവിൽ ആക്കി അവരുടെ കാൽ ആമത്തിൽ ഇട്ടു പൂട്ടി.

25 And at midnight Paul and Silas, in praying, were praising God with singing, and the prisoners listened to them.അർദ്ധരാത്രിക്കു പൌലൊസും ശീലാസും പ്രാർത്ഥിച്ചു ദൈവത്തെ പാടി സ്തുതിച്ചു: തടവുകാർ ശ്രദ്ധിച്ചുകൊണ്ടിരുന്നു.

26 And suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison shook, and all the doors were immediately opened, and the bonds of all loosed.പെട്ടെന്നു വലിയോരു ഭൂകമ്പം ഉണ്ടായി, കാരാഗൃഹത്തിന്റെ അടിസ്ഥാനം കുലുങ്ങി വാതിൽ ഒക്കെയും തുറന്നുപോയി, എല്ലാവരുടെയും ചങ്ങല അഴിഞ്ഞുവീണു -

27 And the jailor being awakened out of his sleep, and seeing the doors of the prison opened, having drawn a sword was going to kill himself, thinking the prisoners had fled.കരാഗൃഹപ്രമാണി ഉറക്കുണർന്നു കാരാഗൃഹത്തിന്റെ വാതിലുകൾ ഉറന്നിരിക്കുന്നതു കണ്ടിട്ടു ചങ്ങലക്കാർ ഓടിപ്പോയ്ക്കളഞ്ഞു. എന്നു ഊഹിച്ചു വാളൂരി തന്നെത്താൻ കൊല്ലുവാൻ ഭാവിച്ചു.

28 But Paul called out with a loud voice, saying, Do thyself no harm, for we are all here.അപ്പോൾ പൌലൊസ്: നിനക്കു ഒരു ദോഷവും ചെയ്യരുതു; ഞങ്ങൾ എല്ലാവരും ഇവിടെ ഉണ്ടല്ലോ എന്നു ഉറക്കെ വിളിച്ചു പറഞ്ഞു.

29 And having asked for lights, he rushed in, and, trembling, fell down before Paul and Silas.അവൻ വെളിച്ചം ചോദിച്ചു അകത്തേക്കു ചാടി വിറെച്ചുകൊണ്ടു പൌലൊസിന്റെയും ശീലാസിന്റെയും മുമ്പിൽ വീണു.

30 And leading them out said, Sirs, what must I do that I may be saved?അവരെ പുറത്തു കൊണ്ടുവന്നു: യജമാനന്മാരേ, രക്ഷ പ്രാപിപ്പാൻ ഞാൻ എന്തു ചെയ്യേണം എന്നു ചോദിച്ചു.

31 And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus and thou shalt be saved, thou and thy house.കർത്താവായ യേശുവിൽ വിശ്വസിക്ക; എന്നാൽ നീയും നിന്റെ കുടുംബവും രക്ഷപ്രാപിക്കും എന്നു അവർ പറഞ്ഞു.

32 And they spoke to him the word of the Lord, with all that were in his house.പിന്നെ അവർ കർത്താവിന്റെ വചനം അവനോടും അവന്റെ വീട്ടിലുള്ള എല്ലാവരോടും പ്രസംഗിച്ചു.

33 And he took them the same hour of the night and washed [them] from their stripes; and was baptised, he and all his straightway.അവൻ രാത്രിയിൽ, ആ നാഴികയിൽ തന്നേ, അവരെ കൂട്ടികൊണ്ടുപോയി അവരുടെ മുറിവുകളെ കഴുകി; താനും തനിക്കുള്ളവരെല്ലാവരും താമസിയാതെ സ്നാനം ഏറ്റു.

34 And having brought them into his house he laid the table [for them], and rejoiced with all his house, having believed in God.പിന്നെ അവരെ വീട്ടിൽ കൈക്കൊണ്ടു അവർക്കു ഭക്ഷണം കൊടുത്തു, ദൈവത്തിൽ വിശ്വസിച്ചതിൽ വീടടക്കം ആനന്ദിച്ചു.

35 And when it was day, the praetors sent the lictors, saying, Let those men go.നേരം പുലർന്നപ്പോൾ അധിപതികൾ കോൽക്കാരെ അയച്ചു: ആ മനുഷ്യരെ വീട്ടയക്കേണം എന്നു പറയിച്ചു.

36 And the jailor reported these words to Paul: The praetors have sent that ye may be let go. Now therefore go out and depart in peace.കാരാഗൃഹപ്രമാണി ഈ വാക്കു പൌലൊസിനോടു അറിയിച്ചു: നിങ്ങളെ വിട്ടയപ്പാൻ അധിപതികൾ ആളയിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു; ആകയാൽ സമാധാനത്തോടെ പോകുവിൻ എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

37 But Paul said to them, Having beaten us publicly uncondemned, us who are Romans, they have cast us into prison, and now they thrust us out secretly? no, indeed, but let them come themselves and bring us out.പൌലൊസ് അവരോടു: റോമപൌരന്മാരായ ഞങ്ങളെ അവർ വിസ്താരം കൂടാതെ പരസ്യമായി അടിപ്പിച്ചു തടവിലാക്കിയല്ലോ; ഇപ്പോൾ രഹസ്യമായി ഞങ്ങളെ പുറത്താക്കുന്നുവോ? അങ്ങനെ അല്ല; അവർ തന്നേ വന്നു ഞങ്ങളെ പുറത്തു കൊണ്ടുപോകട്ടെ എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

38 And the lictors reported these words to the praetors. And they were afraid when they heard they were Romans.കോൽക്കാർ ആ വാക്കു അധിപതികളോടു ബോധിപ്പിച്ചാറെ അവർ റോമ പൌരന്മാർ എന്നു കേട്ടു അവർ ഭയപ്പെട്ടു ചെന്നു അവരോടു നല്ല വാക്കു പറഞ്ഞു.

39 And they came and besought them, and having brought them out, asked them to go out of the city.അവരെ പുറത്തു കൊണ്ടുവന്നു പട്ടണം വിട്ടുപോകേണം എന്നു അപേക്ഷിച്ചു.

40 And having gone out of the prison, they came to Lydia; and having seen the brethren, they exhorted them and went away.അവർ തടവു വിട്ടു ലുദിയയുടെ വീട്ടിൽ ചെന്നു സഹോദരന്മാരെ കണ്ടു ആശ്വസിപ്പിച്ചശേഷം പുറപ്പെട്ടു പോയി.
