Acts 10 - BBE (Malayalam)

1 Now there was a certain man in Caesarea, named Cornelius, the captain of the Italian band of the army;കൈസര്യയിൽ ഇത്താലിക എന്ന പട്ടാളത്തിൽ കൊർന്നേല്യൊസ് എന്നു പേരുള്ളോരു ശതാധിപൻ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു.

2 A serious-minded man, fearing God with all his family; he gave much money to the poor, and made prayer to God at all times.അവൻ ഭക്തനും തന്റെ സകല ഗൃഹത്തോടും കൂടെ ദൈവത്തെ ഭയപ്പെടുന്നവനുമായി ജനത്തിന്നു വളരെ ധർമ്മം കൊടുത്തും എപ്പോഴും ദൈവത്തോടു പ്രാർത്ഥിച്ചും പോന്നു.

3 He saw in a vision, clearly, at about the ninth hour of the day, an angel of the Lord coming to him and saying to him, Cornelius!അവൻ പകൽ ഏകദേശം ഒമ്പതാം മണിനേരത്തു ഒരു ദർശനത്തിൽ ഒരു ദൈവദൂതൻ തന്റെ അടുക്കൽ അകത്തു വരുന്നതു സ്പഷ്ടമായി കണ്ടു കൊർന്നേല്യെസേ, എന്നു തന്നോടു പറയുന്നതും കേട്ടു.

4 And he, looking on him in fear, said, What is it, Lord? And he said to him, Your prayers and your offerings have come up to God, and he has kept them in mind.അവൻ അവനെ ഉറ്റു നോക്കി ഭയപരവശനായി: എന്താകുന്നു കർത്താവേ എന്നു ചോദിച്ചു. അവൻ അവനോടു: നിന്റെ പ്രാർത്ഥനയും ധർമ്മവും ദൈവത്തിന്റെ മുമ്പിൽ എത്തിയിരിക്കുന്നു.

5 Now send men to Joppa, and get one Simon, named Peter,ഇപ്പോൾ യോപ്പയിലേക്കു ആളയച്ചു, പത്രൊസ് എന്നു മറുപേരുള്ള ശിമോനെ വരുത്തുക.

6 Who is living with Simon, a leather-worker, whose house is by the sea.അവൻ തോൽക്കൊല്ലനായ ശിമോൻ എന്നൊരുവനോടു കൂടെ പാർക്കുന്നു. അവന്റെ വീടു കടല്പുറത്തു ആകുന്നു എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

7 And when the angel who said these words to him had gone away, he sent for two of his house-servants, and a God-fearing man of the army, one of those who were waiting on him at all times;അവനോടു സംസാരിച്ച ദൂതൻ പോയ ശേഷം അവൻ തന്റെ വേലക്കാരിൽ രണ്ടുപേരെയും തന്റെ അടുക്കൽ അകമ്പടി നില്ക്കുന്നവരിൽ ദൈവഭക്തനായോരു പടയാളിയേയും

8 And having given them an account of everything, he sent them to Joppa.വിളിച്ചു സകലവും വിവരിച്ചുപറഞ്ഞു യോപ്പയിലേക്കു അയച്ചു

9 Now the day after, when they were on their journey and were near the town, Peter went up to the top of the house for prayer, about the sixth hour:പിറ്റെന്നാൾ അവർ യാത്രചെയ്തു പട്ടണത്തോടു സമീപിക്കുമ്പോൾ പത്രൊസ് ആറാം മണിനേരത്തു പ്രാർത്ഥിപ്പാൻ വെണ്മാടത്തിൽ കയറി.

10 And he was in need of food: but while they were getting it ready, a deep sleep came on him;അവൻ വളരെ വിശന്നിട്ടു ഭക്ഷിപ്പാൻ ആഗ്രഹിച്ചു; അവർ ഒരുക്കുമ്പോഴേക്കു അവന്നു ഒരു വിവശത വന്നു.

11 And he saw the heavens opening, and a vessel coming down, like a great cloth let down on the earth,ആകാശം തുറന്നിരിക്കുന്നതും വലിയൊരു തൂപ്പട്ടിപോലെ നാലു കോണും കെട്ടീട്ടു ഭൂമിയിലേക്കു ഇറക്കിവിട്ടോരു പാത്രം വരുന്നതും അവൻ കണ്ടു.

12 In which were all sorts of beasts and birds.അതിൽ ഭൂമിയിലെ സകലവിധ നാൽക്കാലിയും ഇഴജാതിയും ആകാശത്തിലെ പറവയും ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു.

13 And a voice came to him, saying, Come, Peter; take them for food.പത്രൊസേ, എഴുന്നേറ്റു അറുത്തു തിന്നുക എന്നു ഒരു ശബ്ദം ഉണ്ടായി.

14 But Peter said, No, Lord; for I have never taken food which is common or unclean.അതിന്നു പത്രൊസ്: ഒരിക്കലും പാടില്ല, കർത്താവേ, മലിനമോ അശുദ്ധമോ ആയതൊന്നും ഞാൻ ഒരുനാളും തിന്നിട്ടില്ലല്ലോ.

15 And the voice came to him a second time, What God has made clean, do not you make common.ആ ശബ്ദം രണ്ടാംപ്രാവശ്യം അവനോടു: ദൈവം ശുദ്ധീകരിച്ചതു നീ മലിനമെന്നു വിചാരിക്കരുതു എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

16 And this was done three times: and then the vessel was taken back into heaven.ഇങ്ങനെ മൂന്നു പ്രാവശ്യം ഉണ്ടായി; ഉടനെ പാത്രം തിരികെ ആകാശത്തിലേക്കു വലിച്ചെടുത്തു.

17 Now while Peter was in doubt as to the purpose of this vision, the men who were sent by Cornelius, having made search for Simon's house, came to the door,ഈ കണ്ട ദർശനം എന്തായിരിക്കും എന്നു പത്രൊസ് ഉള്ളിൽ ചഞ്ചലിച്ചു കൊണ്ടിരിക്കുമ്പോൾ കൊർന്നേല്യൊസ് അയച്ച പുരുഷന്മാർ ശിമോന്റെ വീടു ചോദിച്ചുകൊണ്ടു പടിവാതിൽക്കൽ നിന്നു:

18 To see if Simon, named Peter, was living there.പത്രൊസ് എന്നു മറു പേരുള്ള ശിമോൻ ഇവിടെ പാർക്കുന്നുണ്ടോഎന്നു വിളിച്ചു ചോദിച്ചു.

19 And, while Peter was turning the vision over in his mind, the Spirit said to him, See, three men are looking for you.പത്രൊസ് ദർശനത്തെക്കുറിച്ചു ചിന്തിച്ചുകൊണ്ടിരിക്കുമ്പോൾ ആത്മാവു അവനോടു: മൂന്നു പുരുഷന്മാർ നിന്നെ അന്വേഷിക്കുന്നു;

20 Go down, then, and go with them, doubting nothing, for I have sent them.നീ എഴുന്നേറ്റു ഇറങ്ങിച്ചെല്ലുക; ഞാൻ അവരെ അയച്ചതാകകൊണ്ടു ഒന്നും സംശയിക്കാതെ അവരോടു കൂടെ പോക എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

21 And Peter went down to the men, and said, I am the man you are looking for: why have you come?പത്രൊസ് ആ പുരുഷന്മാരുടെ അടുക്കൽ ഇറങ്ങിച്ചെന്നു: നിങ്ങൾ അന്വേഷിക്കുന്നവൻ ഞാൻ തന്നെ; നിങ്ങൾ വന്ന സംഗതി എന്തു എന്നു ചോദിച്ചു.

22 And they said, Cornelius, a captain, an upright and God-fearing man, respected by all the nation of the Jews, had word from God by an angel to send for you to his house, and to give hearing to your words.അതിന്നു അവർ: നീതിമാനും ദൈവഭക്തനും യെഹൂദന്മാരുടെ സകലജാതിയാലും നല്ല സാക്ഷ്യംകൊണ്ടവനും ആയ കൊർന്നേല്യൊസ് എന്ന ശതാധിപന്നു നിന്നെ വീട്ടിൽ വരുത്തി നിന്റെ പ്രസംഗം കേൾക്കേണം എന്നു ഒരു വിശുദ്ധദൂതനാൽ അരുളപ്പാടുണ്ടായിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

23 So he took them in for the night. And the day after, he went with them, taking some of the brothers from Joppa with him.അവൻ അവരെ അകത്തു വിളിച്ചു പാർപ്പിച്ചു; പിറ്റെന്നാൾ എഴുന്നേറ്റു അവരോടുകൂടെ പുറപ്പെട്ടു; യോപ്പയിലെ സഹോദരന്മാർ ചിലരും അവനോടുകൂടെ പോയി.

24 And the day after that, they came to Caesarea. And Cornelius was waiting for them, having got together his relations and his near friends.പിറ്റെന്നാൾ കൈസര്യയിൽ എത്തി; അവിടെ കൊർന്നേല്യൊസ് ചാർച്ചക്കാരെയും അടുത്ത സ്നേഹിതന്മാരെയും കൂട്ടിവരുത്തി, അവർക്കായി കാത്തിരുന്നു.

25 And when Peter came in, Cornelius came to him and, falling down at his feet, gave him worship.പത്രൊസ് അകത്തു കയറിയപ്പോൾ കൊർന്നേല്യൊസ് എതിരേറ്റു അവന്റെ കാൽക്കൽ വീണു നമസ്കരിച്ചു.

26 But Peter, lifting him up, said, Get up, for I am a man as you are.പത്രൊസോ: എഴുന്നേൽക്ക, ഞാനും ഒരു മനുഷ്യനാത്രെ എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു അവനെ എഴുന്നേല്പിച്ചു.

27 And saying these words, he went in, and saw that a great number of people had come together;അവനോടു സംഭാഷിച്ചും കൊണ്ടു അകത്തു ചെന്നു, അനേകർ വന്നു കൂടിയിരിക്കുന്നതു കണ്ടു അവനോടു:

28 And he said to them, You yourselves have knowledge that it is against the law for a man who is a Jew to be in the company of one who is of another nation; but God has made it clear to me that no man may be named common or unclean:അന്യജാതിക്കാരന്റെ അടുക്കൽ ചെല്ലുന്നതും അവനുമായി പെരുമാറ്റം ചെയ്യുന്നതും യെഹൂദന്നു നിഷിദ്ധം എന്നു നിങ്ങൾ അറിയുന്നുവല്ലോ. എങ്കിലും ഒരു മനുഷ്യനെയും മലിനനോ അശുദ്ധനോ എന്നു പറയരുതെന്നു ദൈവം എനിക്കു കാണിച്ചു തന്നിരിക്കുന്നു.

29 And so I came without question, when I was sent for. What then is your purpose in sending for me?അതുകൊണ്ടാകുന്നു നിങ്ങൾ ആളയച്ചപ്പോൾ ഞാൻ എതിർ പറയാതെ വന്നതു; എന്നാൽ എന്നെ വിളിപ്പിച്ച സംഗതി എന്തു എന്നു അറിഞ്ഞാൽ കൊള്ളാം എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

30 And Cornelius said, Four days from now I was in my house in prayer at the ninth hour; and I saw before me a man in shining clothing,അതിന്നു കൊർന്നേല്യൊസ്: നാലാകുന്നാൾ ഈ നേരത്തു ഞാൻ വീട്ടിൽ ഒമ്പതാം മണിനേരത്തെ പ്രാർത്ഥന കഴിച്ചുകൊണ്ടിരിക്കുമ്പോൾ ശുഭ്രവസ്ത്രം ധരിച്ചോരു പുരുഷൻ എന്റെ മുമ്പിൽ നിന്നു:

31 Who said, Cornelius, your prayer has come to the ears of God, and your offerings are kept in his memory.കൊർന്നേല്യൊസേ, ദൈവം നിന്റെ പ്രാർത്ഥന കേട്ടു നിന്റെ ധർമ്മം ഓർത്തിരിക്കുന്നു.

32 Send, then, to Joppa, and get Simon, named Peter, to come to you; he is living in the house of Simon, a leather-worker, by the sea.യോപ്പയിലേക്കു ആളയച്ചു പത്രൊസ് എന്നു മറുപേരുള്ള ശിമോനെ വിളിപ്പിക്ക; അവൻ കടല്പുറത്തു തോൽക്കൊല്ലനായ ശീമോന്റെ വീട്ടിൽ പാർക്കുന്നു എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

33 So, straight away, I sent for you; and you have done well to come. And now, we are all present before God, ready to give attention to all the things which the Lord has given you to say.ക്ഷണത്തിൽ ഞാൻ നിന്റെ അടുക്കൽ ആളയച്ചു; നീ വന്നതു ഉപകാരം. കർത്താവു നിന്നോടു കല്പിച്ചതൊക്കെയും കേൾപ്പാൻ ഞങ്ങൾ എല്ലാവരും ഇവിടെ ദൈവത്തിന്റെ മുമ്പാകെ കൂടിയിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

34 Then Peter said, Truly, I see clearly that God is no respecter of persons:അപ്പോൾ പത്രൊസ് വായി തുറന്നു പറഞ്ഞു തുടങ്ങിയതു: ദൈവത്തിന്നു മുഖപക്ഷമില്ല എന്നും

35 But in every nation, the man who has fear of him and does righteousness is pleasing to him.ഏതു ജാതിയിലും അവനെ ഭയപ്പെട്ടു നീതി പ്രവർത്തിക്കുന്നവനെ അവൻ അംഗീകരിക്കുന്നു എന്നും ഞാൻ ഇപ്പോൾ യാഥാർത്ഥമായി ഗ്രഹിക്കുന്നു.

36 The word which he sent to the children of Israel, giving the good news of peace through Jesus Christ (who is Lord of all)--അവൻ എല്ലാവരുടെയും കർത്താവായ യേശുക്രിസ്തുമൂലം സമാധാനം സുവിശേഷിച്ചുകൊണ്ടു യിസ്രായേൽ മക്കൾക്കു അയച്ച വചനം,

37 That word you yourselves have knowledge of, which was made public through all Judaea, starting from Galilee, after the baptism of which John was the preacher,യോഹന്നാൻ പ്രസംഗിച്ച സ്നാനത്തിന്റെശേഷം ഗലീലയിൽ തുടങ്ങി യെഹൂദ്യയിൽ ഒക്കെയും ഉണ്ടായ വർത്തമാനം,

38 About Jesus of Nazareth, how God gave the Holy Spirit to him, with power: and how he went about doing good and making well all who were troubled by evil spirits, for God was with him.നസറായനായ യേശുവിനെ ദൈവം പരിശുദ്ധാത്മാവിനാലും ശക്തിയാലും അഭിഷേകം ചെയ്തതും ദൈവം അവനോടുകൂടെ ഇരുന്നതുകൊണ്ടു അവൻ നന്മചെയ്തും പിശാചു ബാധിച്ചവരെ ഒക്കെയും സൌഖ്യമാക്കിയുംകൊണ്ടു സഞ്ചരിച്ചതുമായ വിവരം തന്നേ നിങ്ങൾ അറിയുന്നുവല്ലോ.

39 And we are witnesses of all the things which he did in the country of the Jews and in Jerusalem; whom they put to death, hanging him on a tree.യെഹൂദ്യദേശത്തിലും യെരൂശലേമിലും അവൻ ചെയ്ത സകലത്തിനും ഞങ്ങൾ സാക്ഷികൾ ആകുന്നു. അവനെ അവർ മരത്തിന്മേൽ തൂക്കിക്കൊന്നു;

40 On the third day God gave him back to life, and let him be seen,ദൈവം അവനെ മൂന്നാം നാൾ ഉയിർത്തെഴുന്നേല്പിച്ചു,

41 Not by all the people, but by witnesses marked out before by God, even by us, who took food and drink with him after he came back from the dead.സകല ജനത്തിന്നുമല്ല, ദൈവം മുമ്പുകൂട്ടി നിയമിച്ച സാക്ഷികളായി, അവൻ മരിച്ചവരിൽനിന്നു ഉയിർത്തെഴുന്നേറ്റശേഷം അവനോടുകൂടെ തിന്നുകുടിച്ചവരായ ഞങ്ങൾക്കു തന്നേ പ്രത്യക്ഷനാക്കിത്തന്നു.

42 And he gave us orders to give news of this to the people, and to give public witness that this is he whom God has made judge of the living and the dead.ജീവികൾക്കും മരിച്ചവർക്കും ന്യായാധിപതിയായി ദൈവത്താൽ നിയമിക്കപ്പെട്ടവൻ അവൻ തന്നേ എന്നു ജനത്തോടു പ്രസംഗിച്ചു സാക്ഷീകരിപ്പാൻ അവൻ ഞങ്ങളോടു കല്പിച്ചു.

43 To him all the prophets give witness, that through his name everyone who has faith in him will have forgiveness of sins.അവനിൽ വിശ്വസിക്കുന്ന ഏവന്നും അവന്റെ നാമം മൂലം പാപമോചനം ലഭിക്കും എന്നു സകല പ്രവാചകന്മാരും സാക്ഷ്യം പറയുന്നു.

44 While Peter was saying these words, the Holy Spirit came on all those who were hearing the word.ഈ വാക്കുകളെ പത്രൊസ് പ്രസ്താവിക്കുമ്പോൾ തന്നേ വചനം കേട്ട എല്ലാവരുടെ മേലും പരിശുദ്ധാത്മാവു വന്നു.

45 And the Jews of the faith, who had come with Peter, were full of wonder, because the Holy Spirit was given to the Gentiles,അവർ അന്യഭാഷകളിൽ സംസാരിക്കുന്നതും ദൈവത്തെ മഹത്വീകരിക്കുന്നതും കേൾക്കയാൽ

46 And they were talking in tongues, and giving glory to God. Then Peter said,പത്രൊസിനോടുകൂടെ വന്ന പരിച്ഛേദനക്കാരായ വിശ്വാസികൾ പരിശുദ്ധാത്മാവു എന്ന ദാനം ജാതികളുടെ മേലും പകർന്നതു കണ്ടു വിസ്മയിച്ചു.

47 Will any man say that these may not have baptism who have been given the Holy Spirit as we have?നമ്മെപ്പോലെ പരിശുദ്ധാത്മാവു ലഭിച്ച ഇവരെ സ്നാനം കഴിപ്പിച്ചു കൂടാതവണ്ണം വെള്ളം വിലക്കുവാൻ ആർക്കു കഴിയും എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

48 And he gave orders for them to have baptism in the name of Jesus Christ. Then they kept him with them for some days.പത്രൊസ് അവരെ യേശുക്രിസ്തുവിന്റെ നാമത്തിൽ സ്നാനം കഴിപ്പിപ്പാൻ കല്പിച്ചു. അവൻ ചില ദിവസം അവിടെ താമസിക്കേണം എന്നു അവർ അപേക്ഷിച്ചു.
