2 Timothy 2 - ASV (Malayalam)

1 Thou therefore, my child, be strengthened in the grace that is in Christ Jesus.എന്റെ മകനേ, ക്രിസ്തുയേശുവിലുള്ള കൃപയാൽ ശക്തിപ്പെടുക.

2 And the things which thou hast heard from me among many witnesses, the same commit thou to faithful men, who shall be able to teach others also.നീ പല സാക്ഷികളുടെ മുമ്പാകെ എന്നോടു കേട്ടതെല്ലാം മറ്റുള്ളവരെ ഉപദേശിപ്പാൻ സമർത്ഥരായ വിശ്വസ്ഥമനുഷ്യരെ ഭരമേല്പിക്ക.

3 Suffer hardship with `me', as a good soldier of Christ Jesus.ക്രിസ്തുയേശുവിന്റെ നല്ല ഭടനായി നീയും എന്നോടുകൂടെ കഷ്ടം സഹിക്ക.

4 No soldier on service entangleth himself in the affairs of `this' life; that he may please him who enrolled him as a soldier.പട ചേർത്തവനെ പ്രസാദിപ്പിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു യാതൊരു പടയാളിയും ജീവനകാര്യങ്ങളിൽ ഇടപെടാതിരിക്കുന്നു.

5 And if also a man contend in the games, he is not crowded, except he have contended lawfully.ഒരുത്തൻ മല്ലുകെട്ടിയാലും ചട്ടപ്രകാരം പൊരായ്കിൽ കിരീടം പ്രാപിക്കയില്ല.

6 The husbandmen that laboreth must be the first to partake of the fruits.അദ്ധ്വാനിക്കുന്ന കൃഷിക്കാരൻ ആകുന്നു ആദ്യം ഫലം അനുഭവിക്കേണ്ടതു.

7 Consider what I say; for the Lord shall give thee understanding in all things.ഞാൻ പറയുന്നതു ചിന്തിച്ചുകൊൾക. കർത്താവു സകലത്തിലും നിനക്കു ബുദ്ധി നല്കുമല്ലോ;

8 Remember Jesus Christ, risen from the dead, of the seed of David, according to my gospel:ദാവീദിന്റെ സന്തതിയായി ജനിച്ചു മരിച്ചിട്ടു ഉയിർത്തെഴുന്നേറ്റിരിക്കുന്ന യേശുക്രിസ്തുവിനെ ഓർത്തുകൊൾക.

9 wherein I suffer hardship unto bonds, as a malefactor; but the word of God is not bound.അതു ആകുന്നു എന്റെ സുവിശേഷം. അതു അറിയിക്കുന്നതിൽ ഞാൻ ദുഷ്‌പ്രവൃത്തിക്കാരൻ എന്നപോലെ ചങ്ങലധരിച്ചു കഷ്ടം സഹിക്കുന്നു; ദൈവവചനത്തിന്നോ ബന്ധനം ഇല്ല.

10 Therefore I endure all things for the elect's sake, that they also may obtain the salvation which is in Christ Jesus with eternal glory.അതുകൊണ്ടു ക്രിസ്തുയേശുവിലുള്ള രക്ഷ നിത്യതേജസ്സോടുകൂടെ വൃതന്മാർക്കു കിട്ടേണ്ടതിന്നു ഞാൻ അവർക്കായി സകലവും സഹിക്കുന്നു.

11 Faithful is the saying: For if we died with him, we shall also live with him:നാം അവനോടുകൂടെ മരിച്ചു എങ്കിൽ കൂടെ ജീവിക്കും; സഹിക്കുന്നു എങ്കിൽ കൂടെ വാഴും;

12 if we endure, we shall also reign with him: if we shall deny him, he also will deny us:നാം തള്ളിപ്പറയും എങ്കിൽ അവൻ നമ്മെയും തള്ളിപ്പറയും.

13 if we are faithless, he abideth faithful; for he cannot deny himself.നാം അവിശ്വസ്തരായിത്തീർന്നാലും അവൻ വിശ്വസ്തനായി പാർക്കുന്നു; തന്റെ സ്വഭാവം ത്യജിപ്പാൻ അവന്നു കഴികയില്ലല്ലോ; ഈ വചനം വിശ്വാസയോഗ്യമാകുന്നു.

14 Of these things put them in remembrance, charging `them' in the sight of the Lord, that they strive not about words, to no profit, to the subverting of them that hear.കേൾക്കുന്നവരെ മറിച്ചുകളയുന്നതിനാല്ലാതെ ഒന്നിന്നും കൊള്ളാത്ത വാഗ്വാദം ചെയ്യാതിരിക്കേണമെന്നു കർത്താവിനെ സാക്ഷിയാക്കി അവരെ ഓർമ്മപ്പെടുത്തുക.

15 Give diligence to present thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, handling aright the word of truth.സത്യവചനത്തെ യഥാർത്ഥമായി പ്രസംഗിച്ചുകൊണ്ടു ലജ്ജിപ്പാൻ സംഗതിയില്ലാത്ത വേലക്കാരനായി ദൈവത്തിന്നു കൊള്ളാകുന്നവനായി നില്പാൻ ശ്രമിക്ക.

16 But shun profane babblings: for they will proceed further in ungodliness,ഭക്തിവിരുദ്ധമായ വൃഥാലാപങ്ങളെ ഒഴിഞ്ഞിരിക്ക; ആ വകക്കാർക്കു അഭക്തി അധികം മുതിർന്നുവരും;

17 and their word will eat as doth a gangrene: or whom is Hymenaeus an Philetus;അവരുടെ വാക്കു അർബ്ബുദവ്യാധിപോലെ തിന്നുകൊണ്ടിരിക്കും.

18 men who concerning the truth have erred, saying that the resurrection is past already, and overthrow the faith of some.ഹുമനയോസും ഫിലേത്തൊസും അവരുടെ കൂട്ടത്തിൽ ഉള്ളവരാകുന്നു; അവർ സത്യം വിട്ടു തെറ്റി: പുനരുത്ഥാനം കഴിഞ്ഞു എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു ചിലരുടെ വിശ്വാസം മറിച്ചു കളയുന്നു.

19 Howbeit the firm foundation of God standeth, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are his: and, Let every one that nameth the name of the Lord depart from unrighteousness.എങ്കിലും ദൈവത്തിന്റെ സ്ഥിരമായ അടിസ്ഥാനം നിലനില്ക്കുന്നു; കർത്താവു തനിക്കുള്ളവരെ അറിയുന്നു എന്നും കർത്താവിന്റെ നാമം ഉച്ചരിക്കുന്നവൻ എല്ലാം അനീതി വിട്ടകന്നുകൊള്ളട്ടെ എന്നും ആകുന്നു അതിന്റെ മുദ്ര.

20 Now in a great house there are not only vessels of gold and of silver, but also of wood and of earth; and some unto honor, and some unto dishonor.എന്നാൽ ഒരു വലിയ വീട്ടിൽ പൊന്നും വെള്ളിയും കൊണ്ടുള്ള സാമാനങ്ങൾ മാത്രമല്ല, മരവും മണ്ണുംകൊണ്ടുള്ളവയും ഉണ്ടു; ചിലതു മാന്യകാര്യത്തിന്നും ചിലതു ഹീനകാര്യത്തിന്നും ഉപയോഗിക്കുന്നു.

21 If a man therefore purge himself from these, he shall be a vessel unto honor, sanctified, meet for the master's use, prepared unto every good work.ഇവയെ വിട്ടകന്നു തന്നെത്താൻ വെടിപ്പാക്കുന്നവൻ വിശുദ്ധവും ഉടമസ്ഥന്നു ഉപയോഗവുമായി നല്ല വേലെക്കു ഒക്കെയും ഒരുങ്ങിയിരിക്കുന്ന മാന പാത്രം ആയിരിക്കും.

22 after righteousness, faith, love, pace, with them that call on the Lord out of a pure heart.യൌവനമോഹങ്ങളെ വിട്ടോടി നീതിയും വിശ്വാസവും സ്നേഹവും ശുദ്ധഹൃദയത്തോടെ കർത്താവിനെ വിളിച്ചപേക്ഷിക്കുന്ന എല്ലാവരോടും സമാധാനവും ആചരിക്ക.

23 But foolish and ignorant questionings refuse, knowing that they gender strifes.ബുദ്ധിയില്ലാത്ത മൌഢ്യതർക്കം ശണ്ഠ ജനിപ്പിക്കുന്നു എന്നറിഞ്ഞു അതു ഒഴിഞ്ഞിരിക്ക.

24 And the Lord's servant must not strive, but be gentle towards all, apt to teach, forbearing,കർത്താവിന്റെ ദാസൻ ശണ്ഠ ഇടാതെ എല്ലാവരോടും ശാന്തനും ഉപദേശിപ്പാൻ സമർത്ഥനും ദോഷം സഹിക്കുന്നവനുമായി അത്രേ ഇരിക്കേണ്ടതു.

25 in meekness correcting them that oppose themselves; if peradventure God may give them repentance unto the knowledge of the truth,വിരോധികൾക്കു ദൈവം സത്യത്തിന്റെ പരിജ്ഞാനത്തിന്നായി മാനസാന്തരം നല്കുമോ എന്നും

26 and they may recover themselves out of the snare of the devil, having been taken captive by him unto his will.പിശാചിനാൽ പിടിപെട്ടു കുടുങ്ങിയവരാകയാൽ അവർ സുബോധം പ്രാപിച്ചു അവന്റെ കണിയിൽ നിന്നു ഒഴിഞ്ഞു ദൈവേഷ്ടം ചെയ്യുമോ എന്നും വെച്ചു അവരെ സൌമ്യതയോടെ പഠിപ്പിക്കേണ്ടതും ആകുന്നു.
