ആകയാൽ നിങ്ങൾ ധൈര്യപ്പെട്ടു ശൂരന്മാരായിരിപ്പിൻ; നിങ്ങളുടെ യജമാനനായ ശൌൽ മരിച്ചുപോയല്ലോ; യെഹൂദാഗൃഹം എന്നെ തങ്ങൾക്കു രാജാവായിട്ടു അഭിഷേകം ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു പറയിച്ചു.

Therefore now	וְעַתָּ֣ה׀	ʿattâ	ah-TA
be strengthened,	תֶּֽחֱזַ֣קְנָה	ḥāzaq	ha-ZAHK
let your hands	יְדֵיכֶ֗ם	yād	yahd
and be	וִֽהְיוּ֙	hāyâ	ha-YA
ye valiant:	לִבְנֵי	bēn	bane
	חַ֔יִל	ḥayil	ha-YEEL
for	כִּי	kî	kee
is dead,	מֵ֖ת	mût	moot
your master	אֲדֹֽנֵיכֶ֣ם	ʾādôn	ah-DONE
Saul	שָׁא֑וּל	šāʾûl	sha-OOL
and also	וְגַם	gam	ɡahm
	אֹתִ֗י	ʾēt	ate
have anointed	מָֽשְׁח֧וּ	māšaḥ	ma-SHAHK
the house	בֵית	bayit	ba-YEET
of Judah	יְהוּדָ֛ה	yĕhûdâ	yeh-hoo-DA
me king	לְמֶ֖לֶךְ	melek	meh-LEK
over them.	עֲלֵיהֶֽם׃	ʿal	al
