എന്നാൽ ഒരു ബാല്യക്കാരൻ അവരെ കണ്ടിട്ടു അബ്ശാലോമിന്നു അറിവു കൊടുത്തു. ആകയാൽ അവർ ഇരുവരും വേഗം പോയി ബഹുരീമിൽ ഒരു ആളുടെ വീട്ടിൽ കയറി; അവന്റെ മുറ്റത്തു ഒരു കിണറുണ്ടായിരുന്നു; അവർ അതിൽ ഇറങ്ങി.
